    This is a club for all you members who love the series: Fire Emblem, and all its games / merchandise. :3 Here, you can discuss the games; any strategies you may have, your favorite characters, your favorite games, and so on.     What is Fire Emblem?


    Fire Emblem (ファイアーエムブレム, Faiā Emuburemu?) is a tactical role-playing games franchise developed by Intelligent Systems (specifically Shouzou Kaga), the makers of Advance Wars (which shares some of Fire Emblem's strategic elements), and published by Nintendo Co., Ltd. The Fire Emblem series is well-known for its innovation and for being one of the first tactical role-playing games, with a strong emphasis on Western forms of medieval folklore. The series is also renowned for having deeply developed characters, as well as the fact that most units' death—or defeat in battle—is permanent in the game until the end of the playthrough. The series currently spans eleven games, and has been released on the Famicom, Super Famicom, Game Boy Advance, GameCube, Nintendo DS, and Wii. (Wiki)

    My favourite game would probably be Shadow Dragon. I know its just a remake of the original but I prefer the updated graphics and portability. I think it has great consistancy too (on par with Sword of Seals, though I prefer Shadow Dragon's characters).

    As for favorite game, it's FE4 with FE7 not too far behind. FE4 easily has the best storyline out of all the FE games, and the pairing/romance system is awesome; wish they would have brought back. FE7 is what got me into the series, and I've been through it numerous times. (Had to see all those support convos!)

    I liked the games with extended class systems and that's quite frankly because I like games with class systems ^-^' So I was fond of games like 8 or 10. Even if 8 was easy and 10 had a mehish support system @-@

    Favorite game: My favorite is The Sacred Stones, simply because you can choose between 2 classes upon promotion. I like FE7, and Path of Radiance too, but I still prefer TSS. (If only Path of Radiance had mercenaries...)

    Anyhow, I'll add you all in in a sec. My favourite game would have to be Sacred Stones. :3 I like the plot of that most of all; and how you can battlle monsters and all that. :3

    Here's another question:

    Who's your faovurite character?

    My favourite character would have to be Lute from SS, because well, even though she has an arrogant attitude, I can't help but love her ditzyness at times. <3

    That would be Hector for me, I like his personality and he is by far the most powerful character in the game. He may be rude at some times, but you can always count on him. (To be honest I like so many characters, it'd be easier for me to state the ones I don't like)

    Such a difficult question. I like so many Fire Emblem characters but I think I'll go with Rhys from Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn. I dont know exactly why I like him but he is one of the few characters (along with the Herons, Horace and anyone ever who wields a bow and arrow) who I actually go out of my way, more than usual, to keep alive. His story is quite nice too I guess. I like that even though he is too weak to use any kind of blade he still wants to help as much as he can.

    I think its worth giving an honorable mention to Heather too. There is nothing to explain here I just like everything about her.
     
    Ooo. I love Lute too @-@ She's funny and I know I've used a few quotes from her before. Lute reminds me of myself sometimes @-@ Nyeh. She stills wins in self-esteem :3 And from the same game... I also love L'arachel for similar reasons as Lute.

    Gatrie, however, is a personal favorite of mine @-@ I dunno why. I just find him to be so stupidly funny x3 "You'd hit on a tree if I dressed it in a skirt. Tell me I'm wrong!" <3

    FE6 - Chad, Sofiya

    FE7 - Jaffar, Rebecca

    FE8 - Colm, Vanessa

    FE9/10 - Rolf, Mia

    Least favorite is most definitely Erk from FE7. Just don't like the guy. He's boring in every possible way. Nino x Jaffar is canon as far as I'm concerned. ;)

    It's pretty sad that I can describe a good amount of my life with these two words. Fire Emblem.

    With Icebloom, my favorite is FE4. The plot is amazing, the entire Judgral continent and Thracia 776. It's just sort of a step above, and there's some hidden things that you might have to look for, but it makes it all worth it. Say, the true identity of certain characters or even their fathers! It's just so neat and there's tons to really discover. Also the pairing system. I always get a laugh out of people when I say that 'shipping' is extremely important in the game. Well, at least in the first generation. FE7 comes behind too. It was my first.

    Favorite characters?

    I'm an fan of mounted sorcery. Though I do have a heavy bias towards units with magic anyways. That's purely looking from the unit perspective anyways. Based on looks and personality I don't really know.

    FE4: Beowolf, Delmud.
    FE5: Rifis, Linoan.
    FE6: Dieck, Lillina.
    FE7: Hector, Matthew.
    FE8: Cormag, Tana.
    FE 9/10: Ranulf, Ike.
