Crobat or Staraptor, The Great Debate.

    I don't know whether to put a crobat or staraptor in my party alongside:

    Umbreon
    Staryu
    Meganium
    Pikachu
    Lucario.

    Thoughts?
     
    Crobat Weakness:
    Electric, Ice, Psychic, Rock.

    Staraptor Weakness:
    Electric, Ice, Rock.

    I guess it just depends on what the stats and move set are as well as who you're vsing. Personally I'd put in Staraptor due to it being a power buster in my old party. Used to rip everything to shreds.
     
    PLease post the moves of your team's members too.

    Anyway I'd go with Crobat, since half your team is weak to bug, and Crobat got a x4 resistance to them. It can also learn Giga drain to eliminate the ground Weaknesses of Pikachu and Lucario.
     
    Staraptor can learn Close Combat, a great fighting move.
    I think Staraptor overall is better but that's just my opinion.

    Why post movesets? This is a choice between Staraptor and Crobat not an RMT or anything like that.

    Lucario also has 4x Resistance to Bug, Staraptor is all round better IMO. Crobat may have more speed but it's attack suffers.

    Because if you're suggesting the Pokemon because it learns a certain typed move that he doesn't have covered in his weaknesses, but then some of his other Pokemon already have that typed move, then the suggestion is useless.

    Exactly.

    And I prefer Crobat because he can learn a wider variety of moves, and he can pull of Special moves too.
