    Keep in mind, this is for Emerald and is IG and not online..

    Crobat@Salac Berry
    Adamant Nature (+Attack, -SPattack)
    EVS: 252Attack/252 Speed/4HP.
    Sludge Bomb/Poison Fang
    Aerial Ace
    Confuse Ray
    Curse

    I'm not quite sure if this is that good. And for the SB/PF thing, I'm not quite sure which is better, well I am thinking SB is better, due to more base damage as well as equal chances of poisoning (altho the poison is worse) the enemy and is mroe accurate. I have Salac Berry on him because i wasn't sure if leftovers was good to go on him. I'm also unsure on the EV spread on him, as wella s his anture, i was thinknig adamant or the nature which is +Speed -Spattack.
     
    Yeah, that is bad. Crobat won't last long enough to benefit from Curse. This is more of the standard:

    Crobat @ Choice Band
    Trait: Inner Focus
    EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Aerial Ace
    - Shadow Ball
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Steel Wing/Return

    Two good STAB attacks, Shadow Ball for good coverage, and then the last slot is preference. Most people will say to shy away from Return since it is a Normal move, but it is more of an exception on Crobat since Steel Wing is inaccurate. A boosted Return can damage a lot of things.
     
    If you really wanted Curse, you could try it with White Herb to benefit from at least one Curse without suffering a speed loss. Other than that, Confuse Ray is generally one of the lesser choices on Crobat.
     
    Here's one of my favorite movesets. Seems to benefit me more than anything. Just make sure you think smart and not have this moveset against something that will defeat Crobat...

    Crobat @ Leftovers
    Trait: Inner Focus
    Adamant or Jolly Nature
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Attack / 252 Speed
    - Mean Look
    - Toxic
    - Confuse Ray
    - Aerial Ace / Wing Attack / HP Flying

    That's one of the worst Crobat sets.
    No offense, but that's a very typical noob thing to do. People think "Crobat can learn Mean Look, Toxic, and Confuse Ray! I should use them!"

    NO.

    Crobat is a Physical attacker, and that's how it works the best.

    Actually, you intended offense when you offended me. "No offense" is not the answer. In any case:

    True, Crobat is a physical sweeper, but you need to remember that one movepool is not the solution to anything. But overall, you are right, but you need to remember that offense is not everything. You need some key defense fighters, and I believed Crobat, despite its high attack, and, to be frank, quite limited movepool, is not too much of a competitor at the OU/Borderline level.
     
    Clearly you musnt have read the first post. I said this is IN GAME not online.. xD

    and the AI hardly ever switches this pokemon, meaning absolutly no need for Mean look. And IMO SB is better than Toxic. Due to the fact that SB does damage, and quite a bit of it due to STAB and Crobat's attack not to emntion it already ahs a 30% chance of poisoning anyways. The only bad part is that the poision isnt as effective as toxic's poison.

    Crobat is not a very defensive pokemon being left wide open to a lot of common moves in the OU metagame. Not to mention it doesn't really have any helpful utility moves that are particularly helpful to it, as Haze fails and Whirlwind just neglects its high speed. There's also the fact that the set you introduced wasn't even devensive, it's just an annoyer set, which overall doesnt work. Crobat is meant more for sweeping because of its high speed and attack.
     
    Ah, well, I tried. Normally it works for me in-game and sometimes in the competitive setting, but hey, I'm just giving you my two cents, which aren't really valuable anyway...XD
