    Crossovers are pretty common with big franchises, although outside of fanart many of Nintendo's major titles are pretty self-contained. You see occasional video games that are outside the box, like Pokemon Conquest and Hyrule Warriors, but otherwise these things never reach the same level as, say, Kingdom Hearts.

    So, putting aside Nintendo's aversion to full-blown crossovers for the moment, if you could create a crossover between Pokemon and another franchise, what would you choose, and why? What form would it take - an anime series, a video game, a toy line? Let your creativity run wild!
     
    Pokemon X Digimon !
    Off course , It make sense for Ash to play a main role here as the person who unlock a new evolution that transcend Digivolution and Megevolution.
    Plus , I would really like to see Ash & Greninja beating the crap out Tai and WarGreymon with their synchiro evolution.
    Maybe , Ash can also have a Digimon for a partner who later fuse with Greninja to become the ultimate Digimon/Pokemon hybrid that saves the world.
     
    Even though we technically have Super Smash Bros. and Pokkén as crossovers, maybe the Pokémon franchise needs something new. It should, like, start with a new genre, say, platforming. Though I'm not entirely sure what franchise would fit best with Pokémon's universe, it would be nice to see one.
     
    Pokémon and Final Fantasy.

    Final Fantasy is another one of those franchises that's definitely well known and have been around since WAY back then. I wouldn't call myself a hardcore fan (nowhere close... I've only played VII, X, and XIII), but I would definitely love to see a Final Fantasy and Pokémon type of crossover expressed in a game or anime. I know Pokémon Super Eevee Edition did an excellent job of executing that "game" aspect of the crossover. I wish there were more fan games and animations out there just to get that same satisfaction!
     
    I would cross it over with the 2010 version of My Little Pony.
    Besices there's already a decent cross over fic.

    Celestia's Rocket adventure over on Fim fiction tells a story where Princess Celestia is torn from her home and taken to the world of Pokemon. She some how became a new type of pokemon.

    I gotta say, I just love the way this fool writes team Rocket. I can hear their voices in my head when I read. The writing is so well done, I tell ya.

    I think a Monster Hunter x Pokémon video game crossover would be freaking amazing. It would obviously be a more mature, less idyllic setting than Pokémon, but making armor out of Lairon plates, or a Wartortle shield, or a Beedrill stinger lance to go battle and defeat monstrous Pokémon sounds like my jam!
     
    You know, I'd actually love to see a Pokemon x Attack on Titan crossover in anime format. Because the Titans would probably be humanoid Pokemon, and seeing them devour humans strikes me as absolutely hilarious; it's the ultimate form of fan disservice. Just look at what it did to Mr. Mime...and Bulbasaur. Now imagine fan favourites like Gardevoir, Lucario, etc. with creepy faces eating people. I don't like Attack on Titan at all, but I want this.

    Pokemon x Dynasty Warriors would be amazing, too. I suspect the roster would be filled with awful choices like Lucario and Greninja, but imagining what KT could do with movesets, especially after Hyrule Warriors, is exciting. It'd be a lot like the Pokemon Rumble games I imagine, only with Pokken-esque visuals and a more expansive moveset.
