One thing I've been seeing a lot on some of the HG/SS videos are people who seem to think that Crystal and R/S are going to be remade as well and I'd just like to take a moment to disprove said theories. First off is Crystal, making a crystal remake would be ludicrous as HG/SS contain the same Eusine and Suicune storyline as crystal. Not to mention we didn't get an electric yellow for FR/LG so why would it be different here? Next is R/S, I'm certain this one won't be remade mainly because all of the 3rd gen legendaries are available either in HG/SS or platinum so there's no point. Another reason is just that Ruby and Saphire just aren't that old games and are still compatible with the current generation so once again, pointless! Just wanted to get that off my mind.

4th Gen Crystal and R/S remakes?(possible spoilers)

But you didn't notice that the Pokecenter ball is green and when you battle lance the arena pokeball is ruby and sapphire colours...
and remember they have crasher wake (hoenn leader), just as they had jasmine in platinum.

Wait, if HGSS have all the features in Crystal and more, why do you need Crystal again?
And RS will be remade if there would be a need for it in the 5th generation, in case Nintendo won't make a connectivity to DS in their next console. You can't see the future.

Crystal remake has been talked about before, and its pretty unlikely there'd be a Crystal remake - basically the most important aspect from it (Eusine/Suicune plot) is in HG/SS, for instance. There's not much going for it, and given previous discussion that line of thought won't be going anywhere fast
And RS remake are a possibility, but of course the 'hints' towards it do not mean it will necessarily happen, or if any plans for it do not change one way or another as well (if any plans are being made, that is). But that doesn't go here, in general discussion perhaps (I know there's a 5th gen discussion thread there, for instance) but its best to check about first. At any rate, this section is for HG/SS discussion rather than RS remakes, and there isn't much point discussing something that if it does happen won't be for a good amount of years either and next gen at the earliest. Hence, closing.
