ooc:well then just strike my last sentence. >_<

When I woke up, my immediate reaction was that I must still have my glasses on despite the fall. I moved my hand to rub my eyes slightly, then realised that the normal brushing my hand aginst my glasses didn't occur. I looked around, and saw with absoloutly perfect, possibly even better then perfect vision, my glasses on the ground, smashed. I lept to my feet with agility that I would have thought lost due to being a computer geek, and I could hear somebody running. I would have thought that was beyond human hearing, but I didn't think about it. I could smell better then I could hear, strangely enough, and I could recognise Ozy's scent. it was just plain strange, and mind-boggling, but I decided not to think about it too much.

I awoke slowly, rising to my feet unsteadily. I rose to my feet, and found that I felt better. I stretched out, and I had a better range of motion than I usually did. I wasn't stiff from the running, or even tired. Perhaps it was the fruit, maybe it had restorative properties. I didn't know, but if it had done this, I didn't plan on leaving with less than a truckload of it...

I heard someone approaching behind me and wheeled around. The steps got closer and I broke into a run to see Rachel. My eyes widened a bit. For a second Only for a second, but that was enough to remember that I thought her as good as dead. That, and to feel relief. Then, I ran forward, noticing that I was moving faster than ever and wrapped her in a tight hug. Whether she was willing or not, I didn't know. I said, all in a rush "Oh, thank the light you're alive, I was so worried. don't ever do that again, okay?"

He had me too tightly for me to say anything, but my mind was buzzing, more thinking that I should stay away from Robert for a bit to keep from getting absoloutly crushed. I was listening to the best of my abilites to make sure he wasn't near, but everything was just happening too fast...

I was in no condition to talk, considering that my face was buried in the grass. My arms were tightly around rachel's ankles, and had my face not been firmly in the ground, I would have been caught between relief and pure joy at having her back. I tried to sy "It's nice to see you again." after a few moments, but it only came through the grass as a garbled murmer.

I stepped back a bit, although I ept my hands on Rachel's shoulders in a light grip. I was still worried, and ignoring Robert, gave her a quick visual check-up, asking "Are you alright? You look fine, but...Oh, gods, I'm just glad to see you again." without another word, I had her in another hug, this time actually crying from relief and pent-up stress.

"I'm fine. mind getting him off me?" I said, glancing at my new attatchment. Looks like avoiding Robert was not an option, but I could get Ozy to step on him for a bit until he let go of me.either way, he was making it impossible for me to move anywhere at the moment, and I was strongly considering kicking him...

"Fine, fine" I said, moving to Rachel's side, although remaing quite close by, one hand resting on her shoulder. I wiped my tears away with the other and said, laughing slightly "Sorry. It's been a rough few hours. Just promise me you'll never worry me like that again, okay?" It took some effort not to embrace her again, but she probably wasn't in the mood right now. I asked with a dry grin on my face "You want me to remove the...uhhh...infestation from your ankles?"

"You guys never change, no matter the situation." I laughed as I appeared from behind a nearby building. After waking, I had found a sudden boost of energy, and had been running around looking for everyone. It wasn't hard finding them after I heard them. My sence of smell, and hearing, had both changed dramatically as well. It was somewhat creepy.

I watched them all gathering nearby, somewhat amazed how easy it was to see them in the dim lighting. "Can't believe no one saw me." I said, stepping away from the wall, slinging my bookback over my back. "Can't believe you all woudl forget me like that. SO does anyone else feel a little different after that wierd smog attack?" I asked nonchalantly, hiding the nervousness i ws feeling.

"please do, before I am forced to smash his skull in." I said, only half joking. I noticed the others gathering, but I didn't respond to Sean's words, still stunned by the earlier hug and the continued clinging from Robert.

"YAY" I exclamimed, feigning joy. Somewhat. Moving back a bit, I kicked Robert in the wrists. Hard. With my boots. Chuckling, I waited to see what he'd do befor reassuming my place at Rachel's side. Doubtful that alone would be enough to dicourage him, though.

I ignored the kick, strangely, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. I rose to my feet, but instead of letting go of rachel, I swept her up into my arms, one hand suporting her back, the other under her knees. I wasn't going to let her out of my sight for a good while now. "I don't think that last move was niccisary Ozy." I said, though it was difficult to divert my attention from rachel now that she was finally back...

"She asked me to" I replied, half-growling. I added, looking around at the surrounding, the lost granduer "Sean's right. We should get going now." The city made me a little sad, actually. It had lost so much magnifecence. I thought of doing some research on it when I returned home. "After we collect everyone else, of course."

"Fine, but I think the infestation's gotten worse." I said, glancing at Robert. I wasn't used to being picked up, and the temptation to get out of his arms and kick him was very powerful. Unfortunatly, there was no way to get away from him, so i said "Who's missing? we've got Sean, David, me, Ozy, and Robert, so we're missing two or more. Sadly, after the last rough few hours, asking me to remember thier names would just be unfair..."

"Miki, and Kristen, I think" I replied, looking bemused at Robert and Rachel. The urge to add an "Awwwww, such a sweet couple" Was almost too much to resist. Almost. I managed it, though, and said instead "We should avoid splitting up again, the city's pretty large. I don't want anyone getting lost."
