"If there's light here, and there's plants here," I said, getting to my feet. "There's probably food, fruit of some kind. And I'm getting tired of dehydrated rations." I said, deciding to put off the mystery until I had gotten something decent to eat. "Anyone want to help me look?" I asked. I didn't care if they did or not, I wasn't going to get food for them if they didn't help...

"Always" I replied, hopping to my feet. "You take off to the right, I'll go to the left. What say we loop around and meet in the city center." Camp fod was all well and good, but we'd lost a good deal of our food in the storm and bread and water would only hold a person so long. Without waiting for a reply, I headed off around to the left of the valley. It looked to be a good walk. I was in need of a good cool-down.

"Right." I said, nodding and moving off in the general direction that Ozy pointed out. I was nervous about going into the city, I didn't know why, but I felt that it would be a bad idea. But I wasn't going to act afraid in front of anyone. I moved off, looking for food. Fruit seemed to be the only likely source, but I doubted there would be any here. Then again, I doubted there would be a summer day inside of a cave with a raging storm outside...

"Ozy~!" Miki called loudly as she leaped off a tree. "Look! Look at what I got!" She exclaimed, showing him the fruits in her arms. "I started looking for it while you and Robert were complaining about this cool place!" She explained, still ever-so-loudly, grinning like mad.

She quickly handed him the fruits she collected and dashed off to where she previously was. She knew there was a slight, or rather huge, chance that Ozy would get annoyed by her being all hyper-ish, so she ran before he got a chance to scold her or before he even started to get upset with her, not like he normally does, but just incase.

Edit: Sorry Pogi ^^; Basically, we went deeper into the cave, and strangely found a feild not marked on any maps, with an unknown source of light replacing that of the sun. We're currently getting food. I know its real vague, but I just woke up ==

IC:"I really don't like this..." I muttered as I glanced at the fruit. It didn't look like anything I'd ever seen, but if it was food... I took a bite out af it, and it tasted pretty good, if not a bit tangy. "How is this possible? I mean, it's completely impossible!"

"Not really." I said as I walked around, observing the foilage. "There are species of moss that could produce this light, and in such a contained environment, with water leaking down from above, It really isn't all that surprising. "I said as I picked a piece of the fruit and took a bite experimentally.

Jeremy got up from his hiding spot, he had slept for only a few short minutes, but his sense of time was thrown off, he didn't have any clue as to how many days had passed since he was in here.

"I better find those voices..." Jeremy said to himself, remembering that that's what led him here. "I might not last long in here by myself..." he added as he got up and started walking into another tunnel, there was a hint of light coming from that direction, but he wasn't certain if he was just seeing things, nonetheless, he followed his instincts into the tunnel system again.

I sighed slightly, watching Miki run off. I smiled though, and laughed a little under my breath. Shaking my head a bit, I continued on my circut, picking up the pace to catch up with Miki. I rather enjoyed her company. Besides, I could use a break from responsibility. I was usually able to loosen up with her.

Jeremy then turned on his heels, something seemed to be calling him. A force he couldn't resist, and he made his way to the middle of the ruins.

OOC: Sorry I'm so brain dead and bored! *sigh*

I had gone around, ignoring what happened. I saw some fruit trees, similar to the ones Mimi had found. I pulled a few off, enough to load me down, but still leave one arm free as I moved ino the city. I looked around, suprised. It looked like the city was similar to what I'd find in Italy, during the rennasance. Other than being in ruins, that is. I continued making my way towards the city center, unsure of what I'd find there. Still, I'd wait there for Ozy to return, like he asked me to.

"I've never seen anything like this..." I muttered under my breath as I entered the city, examining everything closely. "I mean, nothing like this has ever been discovered, and reported, at least." The city was huge, and I didn't want to go too far in. Something didn't feel right.

I entered the city with no small amount of trepididation. The place creeped my out, no doubt about it. It was irrational, I knew, and the city was beautiful, but the place felt...Hollow, empty. And most of all, malevolent. Right now, I could almost believe Aki's claims that I had a highly developed sixth sense. I slowed down moving cautiously through the alleyways and streets. I didn't really move with any concious thought, just tried to keep to as straight a path as I could. I found myself in the city's center, a circular area with a large oak tree growing from the center.

"A tree?" I asked as I walked up behind Ozy. I had somehow found me in the center too, and was intrigued by the huge tree. "Geez... Judging by the size of this thing, it has to be hundreds, maybe even thousands of years old." I explained as I approached it, placing my hand on its rough bark.

"Probably is, decay to the buildings on this level isn't exactly fast." I said, walking into the clearing myself.Something was wrong, I could swear it. Then, I remembered something. Not really a memory, but it was though. It was like remembering somehting that you know didn't happen. I remembered a slight mist gathering around the area, around us, standing there, but there wasn't any. I shook my head. I couldn't remember the last time I had gotten some sleep, so it was probably my eyes going bad on me. "Hungry?" I asked, pulling one fruit form my arm and tossing it into the air, catching it with the same hand as it fell.

I had managed to find a large tree with several berries on it, but they were all out of my reach. This deterred me none, as I stepped back for a moment, then jumped up, grabbing a low branch, and climbing up the tree. I sat on a sturdy branch, picking fruit off the nearby branches, and eating them. it was a nice diffrence from the food I carried, and when I wasn't eating them, I stored fruit into a pocket on my backpack. when it was full, I started to climb down, but a branch broke under me, sending me to the ground. thankfully i was only about 12 feet off the ground, but my left arm was injured. I moved it for a moment, finding out it was mostly skin damage. I got to my feet, looking for where I could get medical assistance, then glanced back at the tree. As if it knew this would happen, its leaves were of healing qualities, and I plucked some of them off the branch I had used to climb up, using it and a small vine around the base of the tree to keep the leaves on my arm, not noticing the strange silver veins on one of the leaves...

"Yeah" I replied, holding out a hand. I was famished, in fact. Mountain air, adrenaline, and exertion had me famished. I dropped my pack, setting it down in front of me and opening it. I pulled out a loaf of bread, ripped a hunk off and asked "Anyone want any? Have a bit of a meal..." I chuckled and pulled out my water bottle as well. It was a bit more beat-up than usual, but still perfectly servicable.

"Guys... I don't like this place..." I muttered as I noticed the light was dimming very slowly. "It's starting to creep me out. Could we please hurry up? That storm has probably ended now, we can probably just go home." I had that sinking feeling again, but why?

"I know the feeling." I said, tossing them both a fruit. "It's just the tension, the stress of being awake for so long, and the whole deal with the storm. Get some food in you, we can sleep out here tonight, and we'll be ready to find the stuff tomorrow." I said, in a tone that was calm, even though I had chills running up my spine. I knew something was wrong, or, I felt that somehting was, I just couldn't see what. "You know, look on the bright side. If we live through this, we'll be famous." I said, indicating the city around us.
