    Anyways, would it be too much on the server to include user CSS for profiles and such?

    If so, I would just like to ask that the color options would be extended to rgba rather than just RGB so that we can use transparency in our colors.
     
    I don't really think you know just quite what you're asking for. 0_o

    If all you want is transparency just create a 1x1px transparent image filled with the colour of your choosing and set it as the background for the bit you want and have it repeat.

    Often I'll make an image with transparency, save it, upload it, set it as my background, and only then figure out that it's too transparent/not transparent enough. I would really, really like a feature that keeps me from wasting so much time looking for the perfect amount of transparency.
     
    Take a screenshot of your profile and place the image that will be your background on top of it.

    C'mon guys, think more creatively.
     
    Extra options could be added, but CSS enabled in profile design fields would be as Spherical Ice stated. However, it would take a lot less time to make such images as a compromise than it would be to create more options for custom profile design fields, as Counterfiet suggested.
     
    well, I'm saying giving us rgba as a choice if we want so that we can add transparency…but I guess?

    I know I say stuff like this all the time but an overhaul of the profiles is on my big-list of things to do, and it'll include way more customization options than we currently have. Custom CSS and layout modification (dumbed-down HTML) will be included per Rukario's specific instruction when he and I talked about what he wants from the redesign.
