    After all those years of playing pokemon and I JUST found out

    I found out that in Emerald Version you can cut more tiles if you have a Pokémon with the Hyper Cutter ability with you.

    Haha. :) I love doing that for some reason. I was kind of sad when I tried to cut some grass on Diamond and it didn't work. :'(
     
    I remember finding that out and thinking "Ooh! I'll just go and cut the grass around that small child who complains about the grass getting up their nose!"
    It was second or third gen; I forget. I did so, and... Nothing. That could have been a great Easter Egg. T_T

    I've never tried it in Gen IV. Does anyone know if it works in HG/SS?

    I used to cut high grass, into low grass, so it matched each other. But it is just time wasting XD
     
    I just wish you can register HMs to select button like an item...
     
    it's like a poor man's repel!

    But I was pretty amused when I found this out in Yellow I think tried to clear Viridian Forest but got bored lol

    Hahaha!

    I completely forgot about Cut. There wasn't much point, but I guess it allowed for 10 minutes of entertainment when you were little. I remember cutting down all the tall grass in Route 120 (?) in Pokemon Sapphire just because I was bored. I'm not sure how I discovered it. Probably by accident.
     
    Yeah Cut does cut gras but it regenorates if the patch is out of sight though. I wonder why they did that. Maybe so you don't have to waste Max Repels or any repel but it does slow you down though. It is a good way to not encouter wild battles though.:)
     
    I found out a few years ago after a friend told me. Sucks that they took it out of Gen IV. I hope they bring it back for Gen V. Why bother buying Repels when you can just cut the grass away?
     
    Never knew you could Cut grass in any other version than 1st... then again, maybe I knew I could in 2nd?

    Well for one, it is really time consuming. Cutting the grass was pretty fun for a few minutes when I was little then I just forgot about it because it was so meaningless.
