5th Gen Cutscenes [ #8 ]

Do you like the idea of more cutscenes in B/W than in other games?

I haven't played White yet, but I saw some of the cutscenes on Youtube and they look awesome. I love cutscenes. Except the thing about them is when you can't get through a difficult part in a game and then you die and go back to where you saved before the cutscene and always have to watch it OVER AND OVER AGAIN! (The Final Battle in Bowser's Inside Story sums it all up)

The first cut scene was introduced in Emerald and now trended onto the 5th generation. Love 'em. I wish they could add more though :]

The cutscenes were definitely a huge improvement over previous games. I actually looked forward to watching them. There were even some parts of the game that to me look like a cutscene although they aren't technically, such as crossing the bridge into Castelia.

I would've really liked a cutscene when you entered a new town though - kind of like an overview of the town itself, which would be especially awesome for Castelia. It's a lot more interesting than someone leading you around the first town like the other games. That would have to be skippable though cause I could see that getting old fast if you restart the game a lot.

I love cutscenes, I'm glad there are more of them. I was happy with Lugia/Ho-Oh's entering animations and if you consider Platinum's climax a Cutscene. Driftveil bridge/Royal Unova scenes were great, but the best of the best was Plasma Castle rising and enveloping Pokemon league. Those huge stairs looked so small in that one scene, It gave us the idea of how grand the castle was.

I'm not really a fan of cut scenes but after seeing Pokemon Black and White cut scenes, it made me like the concept a whole lot more.
