This chapter seems like a long time ago, ever since I laid down the hammer in Chapter 37 and made a huge change to the story. We'll get to that later...

...I'm sorry for the long wait. >.< To make up for it, I'll try to post the next review with this post. If I don't manage, then either my head exploded with math formulas or my kitty ate me. XD
To give you at least a short impression of what my reaction was like... well, I was seconds away from changing my MSN usertitle to "Someone bombed my fic! ;.;" because that's kinda the truth. XD

Now the question is if she'll stay that way if she goes into some final battle with Cynthia.

Let's hope she does. >> (Yet, how is a pregnant Cynthia going to fight? o,o???)

I can't wait to see what you think of Chapter 37... which was my most fun chapter to write in a long time.

Okay, here we go...

Lucian lay in bed with his queen Cynthia, who seemed not to care about him at all, only about receiving the physical pleasure she gained from their intimacy.

Well, remember kids, for a Queen, not the person, but the body counts. *lols*

This may have happened a couple of months ago, back in July (it was now September 9),

--> Conclusion: Roy&Roxette are roughly 6 months old. =3

P*A's first thoughts, and no, I'm not kidding: "Oh, Roy's going to have a halfsibling! No, not sibling, halfsibling! (I *knew* that it wasn't Lucian's child. =3)"

He smiled with bliss, so happy that he would now have another son, or perhaps a daughter.

Hm, logic (and probability x,x) tells me that it's going to be a girl, but for my fic, a boy would be better...well, I'll see. XD!

There was no way she meant that she planned on committing that awful crime – even she had denounced it herself.

...*clueless* o,o??? (Abortion? Well, it is a crime, but for a Queen...nothing is a crime anymore.)

"The baby is perfectly healthy, boy," Cynthia replied.

Damn, for a second, I read "perfectly healthy boy" and was already thinking of how he would look like. (That was actually my second thought: Hm, Cyrus has light blue hair, just like Lucian...damn, that kid is going to look like Roy! >.<)

She then opened her mouth – which in this case was the equivalent to Lucian of pulling the trigger on a gun.

*Boom*, the second.

"The child belongs to Cyrus."

"Remember, a few months ago, when Cyrus and I… you know…"

Hm,I wonder if, as the first-born, he'll be the one inheritating the title of the king (at least in theory) or if his sibling from Cyrus will be the one Cynthia prefers...hm....important for my story, ya know? >>

Yeah, sorry to bomb your fic, but I figured a plot twist was the best way to go at this point. So what does this all mean?

First of all, do not make any sudden judgments or changes to your fic. You just have to wait and see what happens. It's a fun little storyline to take us up to the final battle. I shouldn't say little, though, for Lucian it's life and death.

I already know what the gender of the child will be, and I stupidly gave it away. And if I give Sabrina more children, the twists and possibilities are endless.

As fun as it was to write, it was a little depressing given that I think of myself as Lucian. After all, Lucian and I are both feminists who think that women should be treated as queens.Yet even though Lucian was willing to turn himself into a permanent footstool, Cynthia even refused that! Where he ends up from here, who knows... (well, besides me).

Nice job on guessing that Lucian wasn't the father, I guess it wasn't a total surprise, but I tried building up to it.

And also, Cynthia will live forever. No one's inheriting her title!

You did not completely bomb it, but at first, I was shell-shocked, because it kinda threw things upside down a bit...I had not included any sibling (for either Roy and/or Roxette), so I had no idea what kind of role to give him it.

*raises eyebrow* Well, I'm sceptical. For you, the possibilities aren't endless, because you have only five chapters left (plus epilogue) and during these chapters, you cannot work much with the children. It's rather me who has to 'form' them, if you get what I mean. XD
Plus, I don't even want to think about the twists you could pull there...>>

;-) I have a nose for this kind of thing. ;-) I also kinda had the feeling that there had to be a twist to this somehow, no, things couldn't end so nicely for Lucian... (And I was using logic: Sleeping with two men --> chance that the child is from one of them: 50%)

It's been a long week without you around. I got so bored I went off and wrote a one-shot that has nothing to do with my fanfics. Please check it out in the Fanfic forum so I can get at least one review!

Plus I wrote a new chapter last night. Cynthia has become absolutely merciless and cruel, just the way I like her. This one focuses more on Lucian than her, though.

I'm curious as to which characters you plan on using. Is the future fic going to only be about Sabrina and Cynthia's families, or will it include some of the other characters who have been important in my past fics (Giselle, Silver, Gold, Melody, etc.)? Nevertheless I'll probably give you information on all my characters, all the ones I care about.

Nevertheless I'll probably give you information on all my characters, all the ones I care about.

I'm not sure, but somewhere in the deeps of one thread, I did post which characters need to survive for me to keep up the fic (sadly, this did not include 'which characters NOT to give another child' XD!!!) and Melody, for example, was one of them. Right now...welll, I have plots for Giselle&her boyfriend, Silver&Jasmine, Falkner&Janine, Lorelei&Lance, Karen&Bruno, Liza&Tate&someone else ;-), and, of course, Melody&Gary. Only smaller side-plots, but right now, they ARE in the fic.
And yes, I still would like information on these characters. ^^

Allow me to include a moment of WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?! here. o,o Ivy?!?! Lorelei's mother?!?!? Of course, it explains the, ehem, body, but...aren't they like, ehm, the same age? o,o;;;;; (I could rather see Ivy as her sister....mother is stretching it a bit...)

"If I'm lucky," Lorelei replied, thinking about the fact that her mother had become pregnant with her at the age of 15.

....15...hm....STILL stretching it, but *okay*....

It was even more annoying to her that her husband Lance had a not-so-secret crush on her mother,

Well, if you have to choose from two beautiful and well buildwomen....

no one had a bigger chest than her, although her mother's chest came awfully close.

Plastic surgery,I say!!!...do I *have* to compare them now in my mind? XD!!!!

"That includes you, Lorelei and me."

And not Giselle? O,O;;;;;;; *faints*

Giselle, who also listened in, felt a bit of jealousy for not being included in the talk of the "most powerful trainers."

What, you're just going to leave me here with the old hag?" Giselle replied.

XD Somewhere in the back of the castle, Agatha begins to complain.

"Joe, the 'chosen one,'" Giselle muttered. "Lance and Lorelei, the 'most powerful trainers.' What good are three Pokémon League championships if no one recognizes me for them?"

*mutters something about her fic being foretold....*

"Oh, so you still do love me, because you don't want to kill me..."

There was one thing on his mind, a very depressing topic.

Wrong tense. She *is* going to have. Or would *had* be right since she's already pregnant? o,o *confused*

"Don't say that, Lucian!" Candice exclaimed. "You know that's not true!"

"But it is," Lucian replied.

*headdesks*

My life is useless without her," Lucian said. "I want to die."

"Lucian!" Candice shouted. "Quick, Volkner, call the hospital! If we don't do something, he's going to kill himself!"

"My life's not worth living, don't waste your time," Lucian continued.

No! ;-; *grabs her plot*

"No, Candice, we need to let this guy go through with his plan," he said. "Let him try to kill himself… he's so pathetic he probably can't even do that."

Whoah, way to cheer him up. >>;;;;;;

"Volkner, I can't believe you would say something like that!" Candice exclaimed.

Me neither.

Volkner smiled. "With pleasure," he said, as Candice gave a shocked expression.

"Thank you," Lucian stated.

*headdesks again*

Volkner looked shocked himself. When he originally told his Luxray to attack Lucian, his thought was that Lucian would not bear to be attacked, and that he would simply teleport away. He never thought Lucian would actually go through with such a plan.

....now *this* is the perfect example of an idea that backfired. XD

Candice shouted. "He might be dead!"

For some reason, this make me go rofl. Completely rofl.
(Maybe because I watched Pokemon: The movie too many times. Turning into stone, anyone? *lols*)

Candice came to one conclusion, and it was a sad one: Lucian was dead.

Nah, he's not dead, otherwise, Ash,TR and anyone else ever frozen AND shocked by Pikachu would be a walking zombie now.
Either that or my fic has been bombed twice. Yay....

Professor Ivy is considered to be in her thirties, some put her at 35. So I pushed her up a few years, maybe to 40, and Lorelei at 25. It was inspired by another fic that had Lorelei as her daughter. There may be more from these two in the future...

Lucian's bad situation here mirrors one that Sabrina went through earlier in the story. You'll see how it works out very soon.

Plus of course next chapter Cynthia has to go tell Cyrus that he's her new man... not like he'd mind much.

XD She looks older, imo (and I usually pair her with Bruno or Lance, but nevermind...), and not all characters that have similar body, ehm, structures need to be related.

And now I'm hoping to write a story featuring Ivy to follow this one, a story that would take Cynthia and Sabrina out of the spotlight and focus on some other characters. You can only guess what her role might be in that possible story...

I also used to pair Lorelei with Bruno... until I saw no name for that shipping, and then saw that Lance x Lorelei was more popular. Plus Bruno looks a little barbaric, while Lance seems to be more deserving of what Lorelei has to offer.
