I believe that each digit in the Offset box is a location of a sprite. Perhaps that of a Pokemon or Hero? If that is the case I would love to turn the Male Hero into a character with darker clothing.

The Palette are I assume are the colors in which you can change the sprites color. By changing those variables you can change that color. The problem is finding digits of the sprite; and which part your altering in the process. Does it all tie into itself? Or does each box in Palette act independently?

Now that you mention it, this is kinda of useless. A little. You see when you operate PokeTEX it displays the character sprite and what you change when you select a color. They have all the variables so you can modify anything you want. All you need to do with open D/P with PokeTEX and the code is displayed next to the name. If you want, you can enter that offset variable in Pallette Editor but it's more useful modifying with PokeTEX as you can see what you're doing.

I found this list of variables with PokeTEX, in the readme.
