4th Gen D/P Starters!

That fire starter looks like it hasn't slept in weeks. O.o The first thing that popped into my mind when I saw it was ''Zomgwtfbbq! It's a monkey suffering of insomnia.'' I absolutely adore the Grass starter, though. <3 And I'm glad we finally have a penguin Pokémon that might actually be useful.

Aww... don't blame the cute little thing just because it has a big jaw. =\ The jaws are the same thing that makes Trapinch so darn cute. :3
 
These starters are pretty good, even if they're still the same Fire/Grass/Water type starters. Anyways, I'm going to pick the fire monkey.
 
Now, wouldn't it be interesting if the types were as follows?

Fire/Fighting
Water/Psychic
Grass/Dark

Who needs a new Fire/Fighting type? <.< Another Water/Psychic type (As in, other than Starmie.) would be nice, but Nintendo needs more originality in their Pokémon. Grass/Dark would be an interesting combination, but a Fighting and a 4x Bug weakness would just suck. =\
 
i know all there names in japanese
1)young leaf pokemon name:Naetoru or Naetle
2)young ape pokemon name:Hikozaru
3)young penguin pokemon name: Pocchama

They look pretty lame to me, but then again Blaziken was the only good looking one in the Torchic/Combusken/Blaziken chain. Hopefully the evos look better.
 
I LOVE THESE STARTERS!!! However they probably evolve into sumthing ugly like bulbasaur and squirtle did. I think i'll get...well i want all of them, but i can only get 1...i think i'll chose the penguin(water) or monkey(fire).

Heh, no it's okay, now that we've got the starters officially
I like both the monkey and the penguine. And for my starter, I'm picking the penguine.
So now my Pokemon game starter pattern moves up a generation:
RBY: Water
GSC: Grass
RSE: Fire
DP?: Water
Freaky how some things just work out.
 
I like the fire monkey it looks cool.I think i'll chose that one when i get pearl.

I personally dont like them. I hope the penguin evolves to something less chubby, like an eagle. If it did, then I'd pick that definately.

EDIT: I think they went overboard on the monkey. It has fire for a tail! :shocked:

From current information, I like the penguine better then the other two (current information being the pictures, lol) . Once more is released about the starters I'll probably change my choice though.
 
I think that the grass one is so cute! I'm going to chose that one! I like the water one too, but the fire one just looks weird and I don't like it that much...

im gonna look at their evos before i choose a starter for me
