Well, my relationships always ultimately fail, so I spend my time usually not thinking about it because I might kill myselfIt's not worth my time. And yes, dstance is bad, but Skype might help.

10 days away from 6 months, for online. Worked out pretty well for me (second time around, because first person only lasted just over a month). I've had crushes on millions of people though (haha, most of the guys I talk to no--actually, no, the ones I talk to most I never seemed to, weird...)

I prefer this too, except to a certain extent. I've had a lot of online relationships and I want to give IRL relationships a try.

The issue being that I don't really have the courage to ever start an IRL relationship, nor know if I'll be able to manage one.

Every relationship online (if you want to be with them) will eventually turn into an IRL one, so maybe if you had the mindset that IRL ones were once online ones, it might make you feel much more confident with a false sense of security rather than being entirely afraid. Just get to know whoever you like first then go from there, pretend you've been IMing them for years and soon you'll believe it and your confidence should increase.

Relationships are all the same to me, except for one thing. With an online relationship, you can't physically hug them which makes me sad. :(
