...Point taken. xD I don't think I'm the type to enjoy things that I struggle to do. When I really enjoy something it's like I HAVE TO DO IT NOW FOREVER and then the second it gets boring I drop it for something new.

That was a lot of the arguments people had about RPGs I think.

RPGs have always interested me kinda, but God they seem like such a commitment. I look into joining in some sometimes and then I just think "God I have so much crap to do already, this is not something I need in my life" lol

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. :3 I'm a bit like that with some things too.

I love RPGs but I can never seem to find the time to play them/forget about them. I have like... 6 RPGs that I bought a couple of years ago and I've yet to even start them. ): Though to be fair, my television remote control has been broken for like a year (and so I couldn't change my TV to the correct channel to play videogames on) and I only recently got a new one.

The most recent RPG I finished was Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective and I absolutely loved it. It's probably one of my favourite games. Too bad it was so short - I finished it in three days.

OH I WAS TALKING ABOUT VIDEO GAMES

Yeah I used to RP online but I don't anymore. Not just because of the text, just because...making characters is a fine balance that most people can't do, including me. You have to make the character unique enough that they're interesting without them being a ~special snowflake~ Mary Sue type, with an interesting backstory that doesn't fall into cliches. Even if I spent a long time crafting the perfect character chances are another person won't and then I'll be stuck RPing with them. xD

Idk somehow I don't really consider stuff like forums or magazines even to really have the meaning of truly 'reading'. I mean obviously you are reading, but the word has sort of a deeper meaning and I only consider that when it's literature because that's when the positive effects that people tie to reading take affect, not when you're reading a glamour magazine.

The first major cutscene is like 10 minutes of nothing but TEXT. Uggggh.

YES. SO MUCH. When I went to replay it at the beginning of the school year, I was like ..........I don't remember there being so much of this, FAST. FORWARD. PLEASE D:

RPGs always seem like so much fun, but I get lazy sometimes and I know I would never be able to keep up with it. It seems like a more writing intensive thing than reading. If someone came up to me and was like "I read a lot! RPGs!" I'd be like "no >_>"

Oh it's usually when I'm rushing with the registers and make mistakes with my counting haha. It doesn't happen anymore though, I'm so pro.

The new one on the DS practically plays itself, there's THAT many cutscenes with dialogue to read.

The new one on the DS practically plays itself, there's THAT many cutscenes with dialogue to read.

I only played the original and my bf got mad cause I was sooo bored by the end of the intro haha. I would keep saying the wrong thing to see what happened and he was like "JUST PLAY RIGHT GOD"

So true. But apparently the directors were trying to get a new generatin of kids into the series so it was nerfed as hell.
