I tend to go more by individual songs than bands/artists, but the bands I like are...like...Duran Duran, Thompson Twins, and...oh, who else...can't think at the moment. :P

For some reason, I feel sorta embarrassed to say those...

But yeah, stuff like that. I have no idea how those bands were like back then, but I do know I like their music. XD

And...

I don't care if music is mainstream or not, as long as it sounds good to me (which, sadly enough, is not the case with most of the newer stuff I tend to hear...)

same, I like what I like, mainstream or not, just because a song is populer, dosnet mean it dosent suck.
