Hey I've got a good question for you all,
Which one does your school use?

My primary I've just left has windows 98.

You mean which operating system? Windows XP for us. It seems windows keeps getting more problematic with each update.

Yeah operating system.

I think the secondary school I'm going to has XP.

You know you've been browsing forums too long when you see "XP" and think it's a face @_@ Maybe I should cut back some

I use XP at home too, so it's pretty easy for me to get to grips with what's at school.

All my school computers are using XP now. I remember when I first started there, some of the older computers used in Music and Science had 98 on. They were such a task to use because they had the ability to crash just as soon as you'd finished your work. Thankfully, all the computers were upgraded to XP last year.

Doesn't to me looks like one of them dead people on tv shows were they turn eyes to crosses.

You probably haven't been exposed to it as much as I have. Looks like a guy who's dead WITH his tongue sticking out to me.

Hey, drummer, my computer has that same ability too! I think it might be a mutant.

The laptops in the primary I just left are never charged up enough to last a full hour lesson.

And the computers in there must take roughly 2 minutes to switch an internet page/open one.

So some shut down on you and others are too slow.

My computer is a little slow for comfort too. It needs to get hooked on to some performance enhancers. Good thing I'll be getting a new one later this year. 2 minutes to get onto an internet page is less than ideal. OX

My computer is fine for whatever I'm doing...
I'm happy with it but a new quad-core processor wouldn't hurt would it...?

Waaaai~

Ah, my personal computer -- well, laptop -- uses Vista. I got it in February and it's suited me ever since. I think it's rather spiffy~

I believe I have 1022 RAM on my laptop, so I have no complaints there. I know my desktop has 512 though. It's such a crappy machine, but then again, I did upgrade it from 98SE to XP, so it's only to be expected.

Awesome. If I knew where Murbet, Breidaves was, you'd totally be a dead man. By the way, one of my teachers actually got murdered just for his laptop. It's really sad the lengths people would go to just to get a little laptop action. How much did that one cost you?

Murbet, Breidaves is actually a fictional location for Nayana's story. When she was drawing up maps I demanded that she included my house on the map, and the location in which my house was put was Murbet.

Oh, and it cost me around £600, I believe. It's on a two-year payback thingy, so I've forgotten the exact cost.
