D/P is currently my favourite, but Emerald and Yellow were the best out of the lot before IMO.

Most people should know that Johto is and always will be the best... some are ignorant when it comes to that fact though.

It was the first game I played from the Pokemon series, and when I found the anime most interesting, Johto is better than all the other seasons of Pokemon put together, well in my opinion.

I really liked GSC. It, I unno, stands out to me. Maybe it was the region, storyline, or the pokemon themselves, I ain't sure. but I prefer it over everything else. One can see that there is good reason for people wanting a remake. I just wish I could get my hands on more of the manga, since it's a great read.

The only reason why I liked yellow is cause one could get all the starters easily, though I've grown out of that now ^^; But I remember my copy of Yellow was shody, as it didn't allow me to save. Since I got it second hand, I traded it in at EB for $15 and purchased Mario Party for the N64 XDDD

And yes, I'm that bored to actually post here XD

G/S/C was good for it's "two region" journey, first time-based game and a few nice functions. But I do wonder, if Kanto hadn't been in G/S/C, would it have been as popular?

I always thought of Kanto as quite boring - something they added in for the sake of it, to show continuity and increasing the length of gameplay. They kinda had to in a sense, since you see Bill and Prof. Oak during the game. It's still a good addition, but without it I reckon that GSC would have been fine. However, they would have simply had to try and shove more pokemon into Johto XD

Even so, Kanto was the original introduction into the Pokemon gameplay. FR/LG made things better for the region later on.

They would have probably came up with worse ideas for Pokemon if they had put more into G/S/C....

I thought you were dead or something, as I rarely see you post anywhere. Go join the new procrastinators club!
Awwh, it's nice to know that you cared ^^ And nah, that grew tiresome for me, and conversation wasn't very fufilling in there. If I joined I wouldn't post anyway, since that's how distracted I get nowadays XD

Oh yeah, but I meant in GSC it was boring - all there was were the stronger gyms, the power plant and ... that's as much as I recall XD

Oh yeah definitely - but people would have grown to like them anyway ^^

Oh.. well I never really paid attention to the Kanto part of the game :\ So I really can't say too much. xD

Hm, I suppose so. But say in comparison with D/P, there's quite a lot of Pokemon which people just despise in this new gen, simply due to the lack of imagination which will be a recurring problem for Game Freaks.

hehehe, there seriously isn't that much to say, considering I said it all really XD

Definitely, hence Johto's popularity - it was vastly different to RBGY (well, imo at least), that it drew the attention of many fans, both old and new. Plus it was in colour :P I suppose in DP people wanted the same thing - something different, and hence were disappointed by the amount of evolutions for Pokemon of previous gen's.

Then again, Mystery Dungeon was really different and that didn't work out to well either :P

Anywho, this Pokemon chat is best suited in other sections, so let's say we talk about something else.

Like Disney/Pixar movies? :D I just watched the ending of Monsters Inc. - it was such a good movie, I really liked the characters and animation ^^

Well yes... and that.
MD was weird, -gets killed by Nica-. It's gameplay was completely and utterly different to any Pokemon predecessors and just was weird IMO...

Yep, ;D most of the ones they came out with I enjoyed watching. Monsters Inc was one I watched ages ago when I was younger and that was pretty cool.

How about you?

Ooops... um, yeah. My settings aren't on disabled smilies.

Hm, I can't really remember the last one I saw... it's been a long time now. I didn't go to see Cars or The Incredibles so I don't really know...

I don't think there's an overall disable option. At least not under "Edit Options" anyway.

I haven't really been seeing a whole lot of cartoon movies in the past year, only The Simpsons Movie, which was really funny.

Cared? Who said anything about cared?! Yeah, that's the point, join and never post again, proving how much one procrastinates.
