This is how I rank the regions
1. Johto
2. Kanto
3. Sinnoh
4. Hoenn (sp?)

For me Hoenn was boring, good pokemon though.
 
hoenn has a LOT of places to go, but none of them are fun.

I would rather like to see a huge remake then just GSC. The first 3 gens mixed together into one game but emphasizing on special features within each area so it's not just a fight through 3 regions of 24 badges system.

That's a really good idea, although Nintendo would never think of doing that.

There's more money to be made if they sell separately.

Unless they make it more expensive to purchase. 0=

I doubt it unfortunately. They'd make more money out of separate remakes rather than a huge one... Emerald was the best out of the three with its storyline... ^.^

I just can't see them doing it, as much as we'd all like. It'd take a lot of time and programming for them to create a three regioned game which interwines with each other well.

Yeah, but separate remakes would most likely make more money although a huge one would appeal a lot more I think...

XDD I just watched that random Harry Potter thing that everyone's going on about...
 
the game doesnt count each as a true reagion. each chump of a map is a section to be loaded. inaccessable areas have data for themselves too. with the proper codes you can run from fulmood islaned to newmoon island. because map data exists.
 
Every fan of the Pokemon RPG buys at least a version of a new game as it comes out. Like the fans who bought Ruby or Sapphire bought FireRed or LeafGreen. It would generate a lot more money they way they are doing, and event Pokemon and exclusive extras just add on to it. Three years' not a lot of time spent finishing a new game, so it's much more profitable.

Yeah, one year is quick for a Pokemon game with a completely new design to release.
 
i said hoen was as large as johto + kanto. nintendo COULD do it, but should they?

what i want is an unchanged port of gsc on a ds card (with the new pokemon added for post game). i want the same old sprites and color style. i loved the games, they are still perfect to me.

That probably wouldn't happen in a remake. If they are remaking it, then pretty much everything will change... they'll probably just stick in the D/P sprites to suit.
