I'd take the Wii over anything else, Shooting games just serve no purpose to me and the only game I'd really play on eather PS3 or 360 is NHL 08. Wii has the fun classic games, Super Smash Bros. Brawl should be a blast. I kinda want a gamecube though just for Mario Kart.

You could play gamecube on the Wii^
Well I can't wait for Super Smash Bros to come out already pre-order it!
I wanted to pre-order Halo 3 but they ran out:(

^No you don't use the Wii remote you use a GC controler
Yeah I guess cuz the online and the game story is kinda of cool

Meh, Halo. It's fun to play with friends, but not the best thing in the world. I've never been much of a shooter person. I feel sorry for the people that have to work at anywhere that sells games come the Halo 3 release.

The Wii works great as a Gamecube, especially since our old one went kaputt on us ages ago. I'd get a Gamecube if I had more than ToS to play on it. I wonder if the Sonic Adventure game on it is true to the original? If it was, I'd seriously consider getting one, then. That + ToS = ownage. XD

I don't really like any of the new systems game-wise at the moment. I'll probably want a Wii when more games I want come out for it, like Brawl or some Mario games. ._.; We had one at home, it was nice, but we didn't really have that many games yet. I'm mostly an RPG gamer, so the X-Box 360 doesn't appeal too much (not that there isn't RPGs, but it's limited). And I haven't heard of anything I want on the PS3 yet. It works as a good PS2 though... That's what I used to play ToA over the summer.

Overall? I'm sticking with my PS2 too. :3 *high-fives Erica for the hell of it* XD

Hooray for taking PS2s to university and slacking off for RPGs ...not slacking off for RPGs! *high five*

On that note, I also feel sorry for the people who work at electronics stores. xD I'm guessing Halo 3 is a midnight launch title, right?

25 September 2007 will be a date that shall live in infamy. If I have enough cash, I hope to be a part of it.

I wish I could be part of that this year... D: *sigh* But unfortunately, being underage and out of money; a combination that never goes down well together. It does look like it'll be a huge hype about it (again), it is Bungie's crown jewel. I wish I could get my hands on the 360... the Gravity Hammers look mean as.

Oddly enough, I think I'm the only girl with one in the entire dorm... but then again, I'm in a dorm with 40 girls tops and most of them are either too busy or not into video games.

Acutally, I tend to get my homework done before I play my RPGs. I usually do that on the computer. It's amazing.

From what I overheard in Gamestop the other day, yes. I would've been surprised if it hadn't, to be honest, the way people love that game.
December 3, 2007 is a day I look more forward too.

What's coming out then? O:

I believe that's in reference to SSBB for the Wii... which will also be an awesome game.

Really? Ha, I'd totally wait in line for that, if I had the money for a Wii. 8D Admittedly, I haven't seen too much of it, but I have high hopes for it anyway.

I looooved SSBM, it was the first fighting-like game I really got into. It's really fun, even the single player part of it. That brings back memories... and it's another game that would be worth buying a Gamecube and trying to find someone to play it. XD

I don't have enough money for any game console right now, so any new stuff is out of my reach. D:

I remember at one time, I stayed in a department store just to play SSBM on their Gamecube for an hour... it was such a fun game. SSBB looks like it should do much more, with it being on the Wii and all.

Not only is almost every person on my floor a geek in either math or engineering, but pretty much my entire building is so nearly everyone's played or is totally into games. Apparently one floor up is a don with an N64 with the original SSB, and the floor above that has walk-in-and-play SSBM.

I love my school. XD

Wow. I'd kill to be there, as terrible as I am with video games. It'd be fun to be with people with the same interests. On the other hand, I don't want to go into math or engineering. :P

I live on the east campus of our university, which is agriculture and home economics. It's quite the opposite. Our housing is in this little C of dorms, which is probably all of the housing on east campus. Our dorm might be different because it's a women's cooperative dorm, and quite a few of us are in different majors and have most or all of our classes on the main campus. But I'm a little odd; I'm more here to save money, not because I want to work and junk like that. :P There's no way I'm paying $6000 a year for housing when I can get half of that and just work daily. It's not so bad at all.

Yeah, my housing isn't too bad. It's only about $4000 and it's the best residence here. Plus, I can offset the costs in my work terms. So all in all, it's not such a bad deal. :x

That said, WTF GO TO BED ERICA YOU HAVE CLASS AT 8:30 TOMORROW. DSFLKJADSFJDSFUDSAFJS *turns computer off*

$4000 in US or Canadian? ;p *shot* But that's not bad considering our regular prices. :/ It really doesn't pay to be lazy around here.

I should be going to bed, but that nap I took earlier isn't helping me at all. x_x; At least tomorrow's Friday, so I can sleep in all I want on Saturday. I hope my new roommate isn't going to sleep in all day. I've been getting up by 11 and getting on the computer. XD

Crud, I forgot -- I have to hostess tomorrow! At this rate, I'll never get anything done. D: *needs to go to some places downtown tomorrow*

The week of September 23rd is packed. The second season of Heroes premieres on the 24th and Stargate Atlantis comes back on the 28th. Then there's the Halo thing. I think I have a few tests that week as well.

Do all colleges group their students by their majors?

Sounds like colleges do indeed split students up by majors...

Regardless of Canadian or USD, $4000 is still a hefty amount. Only wouldn't be the adjective I would've used.

OMG~ That's what happens to me too!! I come home tired and take a nap for a few hours and find myself staying up into the night, only to be tired yet again when I wake up in the morning.

And even when I don't take the nap, I'll find myself very wide awake the moment I decide to go to bed at night.

Hostess? For what?

Quoting so much gets irksome after a while...

That is so going to be an awesome week. I forgot that Heroes season 2 returns then too.
