Hi guys. My parents just had an argument and I found out that my brother is trying to limit my access to his friends-something about stealing them away (I'm antisocial for god's sake) when I have none. However, I really want some IRL.

Glasses are hot- Teru Mikami from Death Note wears them, after all. But my rather selfish brother does too...

I don't really like having glasses. They were fine to start with, but as my vision blurs more... it's not really that good at all. Walking up to the front of the class just to see the board can be embrassing. D:
 
:P i am sure its not that bad flavquil XD I used to have to do that and to be honest it can be quite embarrassing...
 
Konbanwa, Hylian-san! Do you intend on staying online for six hours again, like you did last time?

I'm farsighted. Whenever I try on glasses everything looks odd... like looking through a glass of stagnant water...
 
Sounds like it'd make a fun party game.

I haven't used glasses in the longest time, I suppose I should again though since my eyesight isn't the best. I'll probably get some within the next year or so.
 
For those who wears glasses you do know theres this thing called contacts
 
If I needed glasses, I would wear them. Contacts seriously squick me out. I can deal if people wear them, but I can't listen to people talking about them or watch them put them in or take them out.

I find it so gross and I'm not even sure why. Like, I can take gore and everything, but for some reason, when it comes to putting things near eyes, it's just... gah. *shudder* xx;
 
I have glasses and I feel fine wearing them all the time. I have to since I'm near-sighted and anything more than an arms length away gets blurry. My left eye is the worse of the two. My right eye can see quite clearly and my left eye has completely blurred vision when I move just a few inches away.

I'll be having my eyes tested again in a few weeks since they no doubt got worse.

Mikami-san i am ill :( it looks like i have flu my friend. nope no six hour leap today. plenty of dragonball and plenty of rest XD

Contact lenses you say? i used to wear glasses but now i can see just fine without them XD
 
I hope you get better. Get lots of rest and... well, get lots of Dragonball too I guess :).

I never wore glasses or contacts. I hope I never have to. They look hard to take care of.

I know; in fact, I would've been surprised if anyone here didn't know there were contacts. I choose not to wear them. I love my glasses, and I don't want to deal with contacts. >O *rawr* XD

The flu? Not very fun. D: I haven't been sick for awhile, but I did have a bad case of cramps last month. It was nasty, I couldn't even lie down for awhile. No matter what I did, it hurt a lot, especially compared to what I usually go though. I have medicine this time around, just in case it happens again.

I won't be surprised if I get sick soon, though. I was stuck in the rain today without an umbrella, and it was pouring outside.

I hope you get better soon ♥

Lol you and Lightning are the same, it may look gory and stuff when you try them out for the first time but you'll get used to it eventually, take my sister for example she was screaming in the bathroom when she tried her first contacts now she can put them on without having to look in the mirror
 
And then there are times where one forgets to remove the contacts before swimming and end up in undesirable parts of the eye.

Oh it gets worse... like having to do Phys Ed and getting knocked about and then not being able to see. D: Definitely not ideal. That's actually why I stopped playing B-ball... X.X


As for contacts, eww... I dislike them. They make me squirm at the mere thought of touching the eyeball and just erm, yeah. I'm going to stop there.

Heh. That must suck.

I tried poking my own eye once when I was 9 or something. I've a little red cresent-shaped mark underneath my bottom right eyelid since. Stupid past me. XD

Your not the only one heh, when I was like 7 I tried eating the chemical that leaks out of a battery luckily I didnt swallow it

0.0 that stuff is acid, you know. Didn't you need medical attention or something?

Just recently I was stupid enough to place toothpaste on a moving electrical toothbrush. It sprayed all over the place. XD

Yeh it was battery acid and my reaction saved me at that time I just immediately washed my mouth with hot water then without thinking grabbed a bottle of listerine and washed my mouth for half an hour

Lol are you drunk now? XD when I was little I like to eat toothpaste dont ask why I like to do weird stuff back in the kiddie days

I used to swallow toothpaste after I brushed my teeth, thinking, "Well what the heck why not?"
