Well, for the most part people do pay attention when they get a warning. Mind you, those aren't the n00bs who are irreparable but at least some people smarten up. :x

To be fair though, I think a lot of people feel like that at times, since they like to maintain the familiarity in a certain place and so on :/

I suppose people are prone to forgetting, or slip up every now and then. But yeah, most members wisen up their act once warned, either officially or just generally.

I still think it should be a warning over the screen... and then like, oh wait, like, if they get a warning, they could lose some privileges, such as… posting in certain sections. On their second warning, they could lose the right to have images in signatures for examples, and then the ban… if they don't realise that by then they've been doing something wrong… well, they'd just be stupid.

I assume Matt is on something today... ? If he was referring to the full stop type, Ray used 'em three times in that post. So yeah, he must be on something for pointing out something so minor.

I'm not doing anything for it. Australia doesn't celebrate it... I don't even know what day it's on. XD;

Umm its this thursday. We dont celebrate it...just make the food.I guess thats celebrating it. ^_^
 
Of course I celebrate Christmas. Thanksgiving is just a (I think) USA thing...

As Audy was telling me last night, vBullitin 3.6 or something has a pretty cool warning system similar to what your describing above, so it'll be cool to see it implemented .. if ever.

... I still don't get it XD;

It can ban people from specific forums and threads IIRC. But I do wonder what sort of image you'd get up.

Stopping people from having pictures in their sig is sorta mean. XD

PC should just get it then, it's not like it'd cost much more, if it even did cost any extra.

Not sorta, REALLY mean.
I mean they only have 2 warnings so... I think they have the right to have a second chance, err...I mean, Not be stupid about getting themsleves ban.
I think The Second chance thingy is pretty off kinda like a temp. ban.

It'd be more an extreme case though, I'd think...
Although a complete sig disable would be practically the same thing.

Actually, sig-disable only comes for well, signature breaking rules.
So yeah, I think it isn't kinda like a ban.
