Ok... looks like we're talkin' about essays...

I HATE them. It's very rare that I write a good essay. And even if I do, I always lose a point for bad spelling/grammar.

Then you are very lucky you are not in the military.
After missions, I would have to file report, in high detail, about what happened. this might sometime go as far as to tell the names of the guys with me, the number of engagements, and if we had any casualties... without any spelling mistakes!!! There were times I would stay up all night doing this.

Eugh, I hate essays too.

I just don't see the point in writing about something you don't really give a damn about. ;x

But Art, art class is the way to go. <3

Yayz! I get to be a hot and sexy ho! XD

Speaking of mathematics, I have a test tomorrow >.< I did a practice paper today for revision. My favourite thing in maths is probably doing lengthy proofs =P Actually, no - algebra! No wait - functions!! I can't make up my mind XD

Do you like matrices? =P

Physically speaking, I have the strength of a knat D:

Matrices and linear algebra are somewhat exciting, in a manly fashion. I feel the most beautiful aspect of mathematics is topology (and geometry in general), but I enjoy algebra, number theory and graph theory. I am not, however, much of a fan of analysis, and - though it may be manly - nor am I enamoured of applied mathematics.

Art class? It was ok, except that what we were learning was pretty hard. And the teachers weren't great either... I had one mean art teacher, one bossy art teacher, and one robotic teacher. <~~ We seriously thought she was a robot.

My art class is great. The teacher just walks in and says, "Okay guys! Do whatever! I'm going somewhere!" And leaves. XD

We suspect the art teachers go off and smoke drugs.

But she's pretty cool, she just leaves us alone to work.

I've had sub teachers for art, they're annoying. They like to lean really close to you and say things like, "So what does this drawing mean? Why did you do this? What other things will you add, blah blah blah." Eugh, I hate teachers like that.

Art teachers can be weird. I've had some that I absolutely despised and some that I loved to pieces, as well as a few in between. Usually you get the major eccentrics in art, so I guess it's to be expected that they'd be all over the place. Oh, artists are awesome. XD
Omg! Lighting, did you just get promoted?
Uh, it would seem that I did. Awesome. XD;

Well that's good to hear. Linear algebra is the next course I have to take in the subject. And people keep telling us freshies that it sucks... but I assume these are the people who just don't like algebra.

I was very disappointed by my second-year linear algebra/group theory mark, though. I missed a perfect grade by two marks - most unmanly.

Yes, well, I am most certain I will not make a grade that nice. XD

And I suppose that's why I'll never be as manly as you. :(

It is alright; you do not need to be manly, merely hot and sexy.

My highest university grade (for first-year pure mathematics) is 99 and will likely stay that way; I never reached the manly pinnacle of 100.

Haha, I'm so jealous. :( My grades are awful in comparison.

Though it's my fault since I play too many video games instead of studying. OTL

My parents tried to blame video games for my poor marks.

I just said, "No, don't blame the games. I just don't listen in class."

My parents also blame video games for my poor marks. I am not manly enough for them.

I've always gotten pretty decent marks, so my parents know I'm (mostly XD) responsible and won't spend ALL my time playing video games. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for my brother.

D: He plays too many free MMOs and his marks have suffered immensely because he doesn't do any of his work and just... sits at the computer all day. It's really worrisome. DX

I'm surprised your parents haven't banned him from playing games, or they will soon?

My parents disapproved of me starting the university video games club because they claimed it would bring my marks down. If anything brought my marks down, it was my ex dumping me just before exams, not starting the club.

..My parents don't blame anything for my sucky marks; they just think I'm retarded, which sounds awesome coming from them. The few times when I actually put in the effort to do school work, and need help with something, asking them is probably the least productive thing i could do; it will end with them both ranting at me, screaming crap in spanish at me that I can't understand, laughing, while trying to cover up that they don't know the answer either ._.

My grades in school right now are like..straight C's, 2 B's..and an A in Gym <_<

Aww. ;; *gives Geometric-sama a manly hug*

Or are you too manly for hugs? D;
