There's this awesome ice cream place near here called Richardson's ice cream. It's so good. *drools*

I would have applied for a job there this past summer, but all the folks that were working there were all from the local high school. They all piss me off, so I just take my ice cream and leave.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream. It is THE amazing.

EDIT:
well it has it's downsides too
Since it's a family owned business and not a chain or anything...they aren't exactly rolling in cash
They can't afford to stay open all year so they close for November-February
And almost all the employees are high school students. which is both nice and bad. nice because it's a great place for a kid to start out. an honest job in a decent environment.
but of course, there's lots of customer complaints due to the fact that virtually all the workers are teenagers xD

There are no other ice cream places here: not even the big chains. So -everyone- goes to Richardson's for ice cream.

we don't get official Reeses ice cream, but we have Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Ecstasy. that stuff is amazing

eh im not a big fan of teenager employees cuz i am one and i know that most of us are jerks XD
i just like the atmosphere of those kinds of ice cream parlors (if that makes sense)

We have too many ice cream chains were i live =P

Ecstasy? they make a drug flavored ice cream XD

I dunno if it's the 'official' Reese's ice cream. All I know is that it's got Reese's in it. :P

haha no ecstasy was a word before it meant a drug xD
it's like...sheer pleasure
and I totally agree with what you say. a lot of teenagers with jobs are whiny, lazy, or arrogant.
And I also understand what you mean about the environment. it's like...a nice middleground between fast food and fancy restaurant...with ice cream on the side :D

I personally like places that aren't strictly ice cream. Richardson's, for example, is a whole dairy. In fact, I live a mile or so away from its moo cows! :D

ecstasy=sheer pleasure? well i learned something today XD
tell me about it, teenagers are just so frusterating when theyre working. most are so darn oblivious and idiotic! but there are some good teenager employees
yea, thats exactly what i meant. i just like how the atmosphere is just so nice and pleasant yet its so simple....plus as you said theres ice cream =D
there used to be an old fashioned parlor here when i was little but it closed =/

Yeah, we have 15 kinds of burgers and 7 kinds of hot dogs. it's awesome!
And the meat doesn't come like prepackaged in little patties. We buy it from a local meat provider, and it's made into patties fresh...right after you order it. takes longer to get your burger than it would at Mcdonalds :P but it's amazing. Best burgers in town.
Plus we have 27 different kinds of 'ice cream treats' like sundaes, floats, banana splits, etc.
[/sales pitch]

it seems i have a new goal in life, to open an old fashioned ice cream parlor =D
even though by old fashioned i mean the kind that ive never seen cuz they were around before i was born XD

Also, maybe the coolest part about it is:
The parlor where I worked is literally about 20 feet away from one of the most pivotal debates in presidential history:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freeport_Doctrine

If you don't want to read the article, I'll sum it up:
Lincoln and Douglas held a series of debates in Illinois. The one that took place in my town was the one where Lincoln proposed a question about slavery to Douglas and Douglas compromised what he had said in the past. He took sort of a neutral ground on the issue. This was good enough to get him in the Senate, but he lost virtually all of the support of the Southern Democrats.

There's a monument up right outside the parlor

I remember reading about that in history two years ago
i loved reading about debates =D

thats cool, living next to a national monument
hmmm i dont think im near anything like that =P

Yeah but for a national monument, it's not exactly that fancy. It's platform with a stone statues of the two debating. then nearby is a large rock with a plaque on it telling of the event. a couple months ago they tore up like all the grass area around it and replanted things and added sidewalk in and moved the rock to a different spot...heh. so much for history xD

Eh its still better then nothing
hmm im still trying to think if there are any monuments near where i live, and im having a total brain fart =P
I live near San Fran, there has to be something there >.<

Has anyone ever noticed that on the 'Who's Online List' that there are almost double the amount of guests than there are members?

That's because most of them are Bots from like Google or Yahoo adding information for search engines.

I never knew that happened, thats really cool.

What do the search engines use on the search engine?
