You're not supposed to buy 2 DSes and the 2 games to get the pokemon exclusively in either one, you're supposed to trade with friends and other people who have that version.

I was expecting them to go online. Good to hear they're doing it.

You could always borrow a friend's DS and trade if you had two game packs, but that wouldn't work for people who don't have friends with a DS. I like the idea of online trading.
 
i like the idea too. for those who don't have friends with the games or who don't get enough time to trade with them, its a great idea. it won't make the game less fun - its your choice. even though i will have a friend to trade with, he may not always get the pokemon i want or may not be willing to give it up. and its nto like u can rip off someone (unless their stupid) because trading is mutual. i would love to see online trading. it would make the games even better.
 
Lol... SELLING MUNCHLAX! 100 DOLLARS! :p. But yea, Online battling, trading and that stuff would be nice, and remember the chatroom in FR/LG? Pok?chat
 
The online in this game should just be an online union room from FR/LG/E.
 
yeah, that would be really cool, because the union room was MUCH better than the traditional 2nd level of the pokemon center, talk to the annoying lady, and meet jsut your friend in a tiny room.
