I'm not sure if there was ever a legit way to unlock him, but Minion in Twisted Metal 2. He was fast, he had high armor, and his special could tear opponents to shreds.

MP7 in CoD: Black Ops II is actually quite over-powered. Take only seconds to kill enemies with it, and if your opponents are using them, you'd have a very hard time keeping yourself alive. Oy, those damn Blue Shells. I swear the games are programmed to have those things to hit you 90% of the time on the last lap of a race.

The Physical Shield and Slow Time spells in Fable. The Physical Shield pretty much makes you invincible to everything except one enemy that only shows up once in the game, it also prevents you from flinching and having your combat multiplier drop. Slow Time does exactly what it says, in fact you can finish escort missions by running through the areas faster than the enemies can spawn. It's also useful for cheating in the time based pub games and no one is suspicious of you completing challenges in under 2 seconds.

I wouldn't call Blue Shell broken, it was pretty much designed that way. Broken would be something that actually breaks the game. Blue Shell is BS (heh) though.

There's actually a way to escape it if you have a mushroom, and if you know how to snake in MKDS you can avoid it as well. Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart Super Circuit don't have it though, further solidifying that they're the best MKs if you want pure racing. (The items aren't as important.)
