Dangit old GameBoy cartridge...

I have a Pokemon Blue cartridge but someone poured juice on it and it dosent save. It loads fine but then when i save and restart, it will either say that the save data is destroyed or it will just show 'New Game' and 'Options'.

So help.

most carts of this sort use a watch battery, so finding a replacement is not diffacult anymore

It's not a watch battery. Watch batteries are maybe barely a centimeter in length, whereas CR2016/CR2025/CR2032 batteries are about 3/4" to 1".

It's real easy to replace yourself if you have a soldering iron and 15 minutes, all the bits are on eBay for quite cheap. Saying that, it might be cheaper if it;s a one off to pay someone else to sort it

like others have said the spill could of killed the battery if you know how to solder or a friend who knows how to solder you can get a new one on ebay
