I watched as Haru brought Guy down. It was kinda funny too. I was standing there doing nothing while he got brought down by two kids on his team. "Heh , that was too easy even if I didn't do anything." I stood by Guy and crouched down to see if he was okay. Suddenly his hand shot up and he pulled me down. He got back up and got the jumpsuits out. "Well , Haru and Daisuke , you're both able to wear these suits , specialty of Guy-sensei!" He yelled out as he gave us a thumbs up and a large grin. I saw a slight twinkle too I think. "OH SNAP , no way am I wearing that!" I ran away before he could even give a suit to me. "Well , Haru , I guess you'll be wearing a jumpsuit then huh?" Guy-sensei said to Haru. I already felt bad enough about one of my teammates wearing a jumpsuit and having Guy as a sensei , but I'd feel worse if I wore a suit.

OOC:Sorry , had alot of stuff to do and I have school. And sorry about ignoring the thread Silvertail and A_C_C.

I watched as silvertail brought Guy down.

OOC: That just made me laugh. Hey, Silvertail, I think Haru was just initiated into Thunderclan! XD

IC: "Um... Guy-sensei, what is it with you and jumpsuits? I mean, aren't there better things to train in?" Taiki asked, staring skeptically at his mentor. That can't be right, he decided, Guy isn't this stupid. There's a taijutsu genius in there, albeit one who can be caught off-guard by unexpected moves. Still, I can't help wondering how Haru could possibly have brought him down when he was able to dodge my chain-cast... Then Taiki saw them- the cuffs attached to Guy's legs. They're training weights! Probably about twice the amount that Haru and I wear. This is creepy...

"The jumpsuits symbolize your youthly strength, and the fact that you don't need to depend on anything else. That is why they have no pockets or places to hold weapons of any kind." Guy explained, turning to face Taiki. "The green color represents springtime of youth, which does not give in even when all hope seems lost, just as winter turns to spring, and-"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. So when do the chuunin exams start again?" Taiki interrupted, sensing another monologue.

"What! Fifty laps, now, for insolence!" Guy commanded.

"Why I-" Taiki began, before Guy-sensei interrupted him a glare that made his blood run cold. Without another word he took off in the direction that the frost-kid who had essentially done nothing the entire time had gone in. If he trained, he may as well play a little joke on Mr. Too-good-to-help-his-partners.

'No, but I know that you were thinking it. I know was your very last choice.' I looked at Kuroi who was just about a foot away from me. 'What are we doing?'

I was a little suprised to see a little over a dozen needles flying at Kuroi. I jumped back a little to avoid them, even though they weren't coming toward me. As I jumped, a black wall appeared in front of Kuroi and hachino-sensei explained the lesson. My mouth dropped, it was hard not to. '40 needles?! Not one to touch us?! That's crazy!'

I had just strapped my black blades on and retreived a kunai when I saw dozens of needles flying at me. "Oh crud!" My arm sped as fast as it could to keep the needles from hitting my body. My arm felt as if time had slowed down, and the needles were easy to get. But it wasn't as easy as I thought it was, after I had deflected the needles, I did a check of my body to see how many had hit. A couple had hit me on my top of my arms. A few more hit me on my legs, the tears of my black capris showing and my white shirt. "Ah man! These were new too!" I wasn't just mad at that, I am a lot faster than this, hardly any throwing weapon ever hits me!" I wasn't even able to say more or prepare for another attack before more were flying at me and Kuroi, and didn't even know if he didn't get hit.

Again, my arm felt as if time was stopped, this time, I concentrated more than I usually would. The attack stopped and relaxed my arm, it was throbbing for moving so much, so fast. I held it, rubbing it a bit. This time very few hit me, merely 2. 'It's getting better! Just got to concentrate." I looked over at Kuroi, this time, the attack come as soon. "How're you doing there Kuroi?" I asked as I yet again went to blocking the needles.

"Here they come!" Hachino-sensei called, and I braced myself. I swear it was at least 5 minutes of me getting relaxed and annoyed all at the same time while Hachino-sensei bobbed his head back and forth like someone was singing, before he sent another set of needles at me. He was waiting for me to relax! I cursed myself and moved faster this time, getting less nicks, but the first nick made me flinch- as the needle just barely grazed my cheek, and the second made me stop completely and crumble to the floor in the sudden shock. Hachino-sensei pulled back all the needles assaulting me, using his other hand to control the needles shooting towards Hiryuku-san.

"I'm sorry," Hachino-sensei said boredly, "I didn't mean to hit you in the same place twice. When this is over I'll fix up the cut, so that you're not drained before we leave." I didn't have time to be angry that he wasn't sorry that he'd practically killed me with all those needles flying at me. I stood up again, having recovered from my halved chakra and stood into defensive stance again. The needles flew and I blocked all of them, save for one, which grazed my cheek again. Hachino-sensei smiled and gave me and Hiryuku-san two thumbs-up, but the needles kept coming. Not that it HELPED that Hachino-sensei was practically having a conversation with me at the same time.

"Your bloodline limit increases your chakra, but it lowers your speed and taijutsu traits. Most Kira's don't need to use extreme taijutsu, as you already know, so by nullifying your bloodline limit, your taijutsu goes back to normal. Understand?" Hachino-sensei explained and I grumbled to myself, wondering how I was supposed to concentrate, "This'll be important when you're trying to escape, or when your fighting against an opponent that's weak against Taijutsu."

The needles flew back, "Okay then, that should be enough. I'm not going to waste time on this lesson if I know you two can do it. Next lesson is strength. Now, this one... isn't really a lesson." Hachino-sensei laughed, "Just attack my palm," He held his palm out to face us, "with as much strength as you can muster on the spot. Until I tell you to stop, of course. Though, one at a time. This is more for me as a judgement then for you to increase your skill."

I slammed my fist into his palm. His fingers bent back just a bit, and he nodded, "Hiryuku-chan, you're next." I cursed myself that I didn't get it the first try. More back into it the next time, I decided.

OOC: lol, yea :3 hey, you read erin hunter? or is it just my profile? .....still funny all the same! xD

"I already told you, it clashes with my eyes" I joked, darting off in teh direction they had gone in, leaving guy sensei behind, grabbing my trenchcoat on the way. I needed these pockets to hold my bones, which I quickly replaced the one guy sensei had smashed. I dont care if he is our sensei....Im never going to forgive him for that. It and this scyth were the last things I had of my father's.....he would pay, leaf ninja or not. I caught up with taiki quickly and slowed down to his pace. "nice teamwork there" I said "maybe we can become better allies in the future, such as now tracking down our so called 'comrade' for not helping us" I said, pushing my sunglasses back up the bridge of my nose. "i put a bone in the knot of his headband, so we culd track him if need be, and be thankfl its just fifty laps" I added "he had lee do them on his hands"

I jumped and landed on a large boulder near the Hokage monument. I looked out over the trees and saw the numerous villages in Konoha and the Wind country alike. I noticed that the thief kid and Haru were tracking me. I forgot to explain that I just finished the lap when they brought Guy down. I looked up at the sky and muttered a few words , "Come , Okami..." My summon popped out from smoke and jumped towards me. His graceful fur shined in the sun. "Yes, Daisuke?" He asked. He had a quite puppy-like look today. "Okami , have any info on what's been going on lately? And do you have any info on my teammates?" I asked back. He looked up at the sky too and let out a light howl. "Just that there's about two Dark ninjas in Konoha , but I don't know their names and I don't think they're a threat. Your teammates I do have info on. One of them is Haru. Haru has an ability that's like the rare bloodline of the Kaguya clan , except he uses bones as puppets. The other one , he has a habit of stealing things because he's a kleptomaniac. He also specializes in chain weapons. Oh and they are about 20 feet from here." He told me. I looked out and saw Haru and the guy whose name I don't know. "Alright , that's all I wanted to know. Dismiss!" He nodded and went away in a poof of smoke. I jumped down from the boulder down twenty feet and landed. I walked towards my house and put my shiny and valuable stuff away. All except my father's chain that he left me. I walked out of the house and walked towards my running teammates. "Hey! Over here!"

OOC: lol, yea :3 hey, you read erin hunter? or is it just my profile? .....still funny all the same! xD

OOC: Yeppers. I just finished the first series, and I'm moving on to New Prophecy now.

IC: Taiki nodded to the Konoha shinobi who had just greeted him. Is it just me, or is that chain looking kind of... weird? Taki mused, staring at the shinobi's chain. I mean, there isn't anything special about it, but... Muttering in an undertone, he shook his head and turned to Haru. "Well, if you want to exact vengeance on him for not helping us with Guy, then I'll be your guest- I'd start it myself, but it could be construed as an act of war. I hate diplomacy." He stated, in a matter of fact tone. Before he could say or do anything else however, his nose wrinkled involuntarily as he caught the scent of something burnt. Charcoal? No, smoke. He decided, looking for evidence of the flames. At last, his eye caught on something: There was a large, canine paw-print on the ground. Fresh. "Somebody here is secretly a dog-lover." he commented. "Anyway, I have something I want to give back to you..." With a flash he opened his vest, revealing most of Daisuke's valuables. "I used the chain to pick your pockets while you were focusing on me." he explained, tossing most of his ill-gotten gains to the ground.

OOC: cool, I need to start that series too but none of the libraries around me have it >.< our school has the second, but not the first >.>

I caught daisuke with a headlock and gave him a rather painfull noogie, pushing him to the ground. "you know, you really shouldnt brag about not having to do anything, it gives people the impression that your lazy and wont be any help to them." I said in a low tone "that may be fine when avoiding missions from hokage-sama, but when its training with us...not the smartest move." I cracked my knuckles as the bone slipped out of the knot on his headband. "also, learn to figure out when your being tracked" I said as the bone returned to my weapons pouch. I turned and started to walk away, cracking my neck slightly. Maybe this alliance with the sand ninja wouldnt be such a bad thing....maybe.

I couldn't stop blocking the needles to see if Kuroi was okay, as he fell to the ground. I continued to block the needles coming at me, being able to concentrate on each one of them this time. After the needles stopped, my arm was throbbing even more. This time only one grazed me and just barely. I looked over at Kuroi who was back up on his feet, then looked over at Hachino-sensei as he gave us 2 thumbs up, then another spread of needles flying at me. I had relaxed to much and the first 2 hit me and the rest I was able to block, finally grabbing my kunai up again and getting my arm to move.

I watched as Kuroi punched Hachino-sensei. 'What is this supposed to do?' I asked myself as I stepped up to Hachino-sensei. I stood in a good stance, wanting to be able to hit hard. I used the Yo-ko-na punch becuase it was the strongest I had, and punched as hard as I possibly could, not wanting to show I was a weak Kunoichi. His arm moved back, his hand bending back a little, him moveing back a couple of feet. 'What?! I know I'm not that strong!' I looked at Hachino-sensei. 'Oh no! I couldn't have!' I looked at Hachino-sensei again, him giveing me a curious look. 'I can't believed I let my telekinesis to do this, I can't believe I let it control me like that! I hate this power!' I stepped back, showing Kuroi that he could go. I thought about how I should've trained to control the power a little more, I never liked it, it wasn't something a shinobi should use to me.

Hachino-sensei stared at Hiryuku-san, and I grumbled to myself, wanting to make sure to out-do her. But what could I do without chakra? Kira's weren't built for strength. I'd never even slugged someone. I twisted my torso and shoved practically my entire body strength into my fist, transferring the energy into Hachino-sensei's palm. His palm moved back this time, and Hachino-sensei didn't even look at me. He was examining the birds in the bleak, leafless trees. He was frowning too.

"Hmm... if they keep singing for much longer Orochimaru-sama is going to be annoyed." He flicked his other hand, still grasping the needles towards the birds and scared them away. But unlike most shinobi from Sound, he spared their useless lives. I hadn't the time to pay attention to birds. I was disappointed in myself that my attack had been so weak that Hachino-sensei had time to worry about birds, "Don't beat yourself up." Hachino-sensei laughed, "I'm not sure how I got blown back by Hiryuku-chan, but it definetely wasn't from force. That was good. Keep going, try different angle's and the such."

"Think outside the box!" Hachino-sensei chirped and I fell over, sweatdropping. He practically radiated a sunny disposition in the bleak Village that was Sound.

I leanded against a tree, listening the to the birds chirping. 'They sound pretty.' I thought as I watched Kuroi put all his strenth into hitting Hachino-sensei's palm. Unlike a lot of shinobi, I felt bad for cheating, even though I really didn't know how the telekinesis had come out without me willing it. I came out of my thinking as I saw Hachino-sensei throw needles at the birds and made them go away. 'Aw man! I liked listening to them. The only things around that made this place kind of plesant.'

I felt even worse as I continued to watch Kuroi keep trying to prove he was strong, that he could move Hachino-sensei, like I had. 'You cheater!' my consience yelled at me as I watched him drop down, exhausted. I was about to offer advice to help him out, but Hachino-sensei started talking, interupting what I was going to say.

Hachino-sensei blinked, "Nobody excluded you from this exercise. I never said you were dismissed. Until I say to stop. I didn't say to stop yet. To be blunt," Hachino-sensei smiled, "I don't care whether you can't control that odd technique of yours. We'll keep going until you can." I tripped over my own feet and scrambled back up yelling, "There is NO WAY that I'm going to stick around punching your palm until that incompetant kunoichi becomes worthy of a genin title." I blinked and sighed. Damn. It slipped. Before Hiryuku-san could get at me, (Cut my guts out?) Hachino-sensei had me tied up with bandages like a mummy and tossed me aside.

"That was very mean!" Hachino-sensei scolded, "Time-out for you!" I was ready to scream at how immature Hachino-sensei was being, but when I managed to worm my way into a sitting position my forehead bonked up against something. Something I couldn't see. "I set a chakra shield around you," Hachino-sensei sighed, "So that Hiryuku-chan doesn't rip you to bits. Just in case you know? Okay then Hiryuku-chan~ Why don't you give it another try, make a concious effort to block whatever that was that moved me back." I was indignified.

"Let me out!!" I shouted, but I noticed that the sound only reverberated back at me. The chakra shield stopped sound!! I grumbled. This must've been what they called irony. Hachino-sensei seemed to be enjoying me tumble about in the puny chakra shield, my mouth moving but no words reaching his ears. I took advantage to call him as many colorful names as I could, insulting him and Hiryuku-san to my hearts content. But what made me the most frustrated was that they couldn't hear I word.

"GYAAAH." I kicked futilely at the shield in frustration. Imprisoned for the TRUTH! Where did the few morals in Sound fly away to?!?

I was just about to unstrap my blades when Hachino-sensei took care of Kuroi before I could. I had to admit, I was mad that I wasn't able to do anything. 'Stupid sheild! Stupid Hachino-sensei! He should've let me cut him into tiny little parts!' I was mad now, and I knew that Kuroi was yelling at me and Hachino-sensei from that stupid little bubble that was protecting him. The only thing standing between him and me.

I glared over at Kuroi in that stupid bubble, kicking and screaming. I didn't know if he could hear me or not, but I didn't care, it felt good to say it. "Unlike you, I could still be able to move Hachino-sensei without whatever I used to move him." I smiled and postioned myself for the punch. I didn't look at Hachino-sensei, I knew he was probably frowning at me, and probably yelling at me, but I blocked him out. 'If Kuroi id hear me, I'm going to have to prove I can do this, no sense in hearing Hachino-sensei yelling at me.' I steped up, stomping my foot on the ground, punching a millisec afterward stomping, catching the energy from the stomp. My hips were thrown into the punch and Hachino-sensei took a tiny step back as his arm was pushed back. 'Unlike Kuroi, I was trained for physical strenth!'

"The Chunnin exams are being held in the village of Konoha, in the country of the Leaf. We're leaving tomorrow." Yukiru-sensei smiled at his two students. He continued, "Be sure to bring everything you need. Who knows how long we're gonna have to stay there. Probably for more than a week." A hand shot up in the air. Yukiru-sensei looked to find that it belonged to Miharu. "You know, this is pretty much an open discussion..."
"Oh, sorry," Miharu mumbled.
"But go on ahead."
"Alright. Uh... Exactly what is in the Chuunin Exams?"
"I'm afraid I cannot tell you that information. Plus, it changes every year..." Yukiru-sensei smirked. "So even if I tell you, it would most probably be completely different from what I say."

Miharu sighed, and looked at Yukiru-sensei as if you ask him what to do now. Yukiru-sensei nodded, and began walking in the direction they came from. Miharu followed, then, after seeing a clutter of butterflies fly past his face, Shuichi followed as well. The three of them walked in one line, one after the other. Soon enough, they passed by the school building, old and shabby as usual. The tiles at the top looked like they were about to fall down, and the sign, which read "Lightning Country Academy School" hung slightly slanted. The black letters, painted on a large block of wood to make the sign, looked scratchy, and rushed, as near the right end of the sign, the letters were smaller than those to the left.

The group kept walking past the building, down towards the main road of the village. Miharu began to slow down in her walking to let Shuichi catch up to her.

"I wonder where we're going..." Miharu whispered.
"Beats me." Shuichi instantly replied.

I grumbled to myself, and rolled my eyes. What a crazy kunoichi. Hachino-sensei nodded, and said, "I'm releasing Kuroi. I won't hesitate to rip off an arm or two if you attack him." Even as he said this, Hachino-sensei was smiling as if he was asking Hiryuku-san if she wanted some milk and cookies. I blinked. Wait. I just heard that. I looked around myself and test kicked the forcefield. No shield! I wriggled around, and with a little difficulty, no thanks to Hachino-sensei tying the bandages so tight I felt as if I was in a straight jacket, undid the knot and freed myself, scrambling to my feet and putting myself in a position that was a sure defense against Hiryuku-san. Not that I need to, seeing as Hachino-sensei had positioned himself between me and Hiryuku-san.

"Okay then!" Hachino-sensei clapped his hands together, "I've decided from what I've seen, that Hiryuku-chan uses more jutsu-based attacks then Kira-kun, and I already know what Kira-kun can do, I was just making him exert himself to be fair," Fair?! I had already convinced myself that Hachino-sensei just wanted to watch me suffer, "So, Hiryuku-chan, you will focus on building your chakra control and controlling that technique of yours- while Kira-kun, I will teach you how to utilize your Bloodline Limit a little more."

Hachino-sensei pointed towards the east, "Hiryuku-chan, you will practice a good 20 meters away from me and Kira-kun. I don't want you to break your concentration if Kira-kun loses control of the lines. I know very little about your abilites, but why don't you tell me about them as Kira-kun shows me what he can do with his Kira abilites? If I grasp the concept fully, once you can unearth the entire row of trees that line this training area, and set them back in the earth enough so that they can still grow- which means you can't harm their roots all that much, then you'll be finished for the day. If you can't do it within the hour, then we'll call it square. Kira-kun, show me what your bloodline limit's got."

I pulled off the last bandage and pulled off the detatchable sleeves of my turtleneck, and rolling up the legs of my pants to my knees, revealing the tattoo's that had been kept so meticulously hidden. My feet planted firmly into the ground I lifted my hands and faced my palms at Hachino-sensei, "Urukana, Shinobi of the Rain, 15 degrees west and 30 degrees north, sitting... in... a... uhm..." I strained to figure out where he was sitting, the lines on my arms floating up off my arms and back on like waves, "In... a... bar?"

Hachino-sensei slapped his forehead, "Bath house." He corrected, "Alright, so you can make out the rough location of a person. Next."

Already kind of tired, I got lazy when I shot my tattoo's at Hachino-sensei, who dodged easily, leaving the lines to grasp tightly around nothing, waver and retreat back to me, and I couldn't help but stumble back from the whiplash, "Sucking out people's chakra, that's good, but it seems as if you get tired fast. Next."

Running a hand through my dark hair, in a sort of embarrassed way, I mumbled, "That's it..." Hachino-sensei raised an eyebrow and I hastily explained, "Well, I lived with a pair of Kira's who weren't from the main branch for most of my life- It was to keep me from being raised into a-" Hachino-sensei held his hand up, "I know. But normally, you still earn training from the Elder." He suddenly looked doubtful, "You are the heir, aren't you?"

I hesitated. I wasn't supposed to say that. But Hachino-sensei already seemed to know, and it'd be easy to slaughter Hiryuku-san the minute she spoke, seeing as she probably already had 5 elite Hunter-Nin on her back, just for being in the same group as me. I nodded, and Hachino-sensei raised an eyebrow.

"That's suspicious. But since I'm me, I won't ask. You can't even use them as whips?" Hachino-sensei asked and I outstretched my tattoo's, "Like this?" I moved my arm as if I was snapping a whip- all the lines did was fluidly move in a wave.

"A waver." Hachino-sensei shook his head, "Darn kid, you're some kind of crazy failure."

I flushed, and snapped, "Like you have the right to judge failure from success!" Hachino-sensei waved it away and sighed, "I'm going to have to break you into a snapper." He looked at me with a weird expression saying, "You're a failure, but you're damn lucky you're the heir. Waver's don't exist in the Kira Clan." I blinked. I didn't know what a waver and a snapper was. Hachino-sensei... knew more about my family then me? The apparent heir? I was frustrated to say the least, but Hachino-sensei wouldn't let me voice it. Sitting down on a stump, he muttered, "Please tell me you can at least summon HeiBai."

I flustered again and cried, "Of course I can!! Even rejects can summon HeiBai! It's an automatic contract!!" Hachino-sensei seemed not to hear me, mumbling, "Yeah yeah, the question is, can you summon him?" I paused.

"Yes. But he's not..."

"He's as weak as a toad, I get it. You sit there for a second and recover as much chakra as you can." He spun around on the tree stump, "Hiryuku-chan, tell anything you can about your ability while you unearth those trees."

OOC: I'm sorry, but can Night not notice those Hunter-Nin that are following her? It seems to be a trend to know more then a genin should in this RP.

'What?! Show Hachino-sensei what I can do. That little show I put on had been a mistake! I shouldn't have shown them any of it!' I walked the distance Hachino-sensei asked me too walk from him and Kuroi.

I listended to what Hachino-sensei said about Kuroi and the Kira clan, my ears turned toward them, as I concentrated on unearthing the trees. 'I can do it, I just can't say how.' I thought about it some more, 'I can't do it, I can't say anything, Hachino-sensei already knows too much about where I come from and that I am from Dark.'

Hachino-sensei swung around a tree and told me to unearth them and tell him all about my ability.

I stood in a fighting postion, knees bent a little and my arms and hands out in front of me. "I don't know much about it really, I wasn't really trained to control it. My family was working on it before our vil..before they were killed." I said as I caught myself before I could say much more. "All I know is that I use my chakra and concentrate it one spot, then I can move things." I pulled my sleeves up and unwrapped my arms. I also unwrapped my legs, allowing more chakra to be able to flow through them. I summoned as much chakra as I could, letting it flow through my whole body, then concentrated it to flow to my arms. I formed a couple of hand signs, this was a big thing to do, so I'd need them, and I pushed my palms toward the trees and used my mind to lift them from the ground.

The trees' roots hung about a foot above the ground from where they had been rooted, clumps of soil hanging from roots. My mind and body were getting very tired holding them, my arms throbbing from all the chakra that was in them, they felt as if they'd burst. I set the trees back in the ground, with just a few of the trees probably damaged. As soon as the trees were back in the ground, I dropped down on the dirt, a cloud of dirt comeing up as I did. I wrapped my legs up again, and my arms, which were hurting immensely. I held, sort of cradeling them. My head was throbbing too, but I'd become used to it back in Dark. "How's that?" I asked Hachino-sensei, looking up at him with an exhausted smile.
~~~
Sure, that's fine. Night tends not to pay attention to her surroundings most of the time anyway.^^
Hachino-sensei clapped and laughed, "That's wonderful, you may rest for now, while I knock some sense into Kira-kun here." His gaze looked positively serpentine when he turned and smirked at me, making all the chakra I'd built up fall apart in surprise, "Shall we get started?" I was partially glad that Hiryuku-san had absolutely no angle in seeing Hachino-sensei's stare. She already hated Sound enough as it was. I stumbled to the position best for summoning HeiBai, with my toes pointing away from each other- but not directly away. My knees following their direction, bent and leaving me in a crouching position as if I were a second away from sitting down on the ground again. I tentatively put my hands together as Hachino-sensei watched me- gaze returned to his usual cheerful look.
"Tighten those extensors." He ordered, and did, before chanting, "Kong Bu Guei, bai tou fa, hei pi fu, bang yuo fah zhei geu cuh oo zhren." Hachino-sensei visibly flinched in disapproval, but I ignored him and pressed my palms into the ground, "Di Ei Ge Lai!" A white arm, thin and skeleton-like reached out from the ground, as if passing through a portal. It bent it's elbow and laid it's hand upon the dry dirt, as if trying to push itself upward, "Di Er Ge Lai!" Another arm, black, shot up just as the other arm had, and both arms pushed the large towering figure out of the ground, the sinister white mask with black designs that heavily resembled a Hunter-Nin mask worn over it's head, designed like a helmet to hide it's head and features, which were oddly small in proportion to the arms.
"SAN!" I yelled, pressing the rest of my chakra into the ground, the entire body pulling out of the ground to reveal the Kira Clan beast- HeiBai, the Skeleton Hellspawn of Balance. It was entirely black on the right, pure glowing white on the left, and the only mix was it's helmet, which had no holes or eyes to peer from.
"Alright then, attack me." Hachino-sensei nodded. I frowned and slowly removed my hands from the ground, my hands shaking, knowing what was coming next- HeiBai let out an unearthly scream, a roar of some sorts as his lanky legs began to sink back into the earth, some 15 odd chains snapping around his wirsts and ankles as he pulled against them. Hachino-sensei sweatdropped and sighed, "You're kidding me."
"Shut up!" I yelled, putting one hand back onto the ground, the chains around his wrists breaking off, "The stupid one is your target!" I used my free hand to point to Hachino-sensei who was shaking his head in disappointment, and HeiBai, though hesitant, shot out his arm towards Hachino-sensei, the black arm extending in a gruesome view of black flesh that squirmed and stretched, and in the end, Hachino-sensei stopped it with both hands, and moved back only about 5 feet.
"It's weaker then a baby Kira-kun, what have you been doing these past 14 years? Sleeping under a rock?" Hachino-sensei asked, an obvious tone of disappointment in his voice, "The last time I met Mr. Big-Ugly-and-Gruesome I got myself sent flying all the way to Sunagakure, and this time I don't even fly outside the training grounds?"
I was frustrated, and I knew that HeiBai was still disgusted with having me as his summoner. He didn't like following my orders, but he did, because I was the heir. If I wasn't, he probably would've swallowed me up by now.
Hachino-sensei shook his head, "I'm sorry Kira-kun, but there's nothing I can do for you when it comes to giving HeiBai your chakra. HeiBai is big, but he's weak. That's all there is to it." I removed my hand from the ground and stood up, my tattoo's fading by the second, and HeiBai, still screaming in his agonized and neither male nor female voice- but montrous and barbaric, was pulled back to the ground, the chains rattling and ringing in my ears, even after HeiBai disappeared. I fell into a sitting position again, exhausted from wasting all my disposable chakra.
I let out a little sigh as Hachino-sensei turned. 'Whew! At least he didn't ask more!' I stood back, leaning on yet another tree, and watched as Kuroi tried to summon something called HeiBai, something I'd heard of before, but never really knew it was real, or that I'd seen before.
I could tell that Kuroi was haveing trouble summoning the creature, but when he did, I have to admit that I took a little, tiny step back. I knew it was weak, I could sense that, but it still looked pretty creepy. 'Oh great! Another creepy creature to add to this gloomy little village!' It was weak, it showed in it's attack. 'I thought he was supposed to be pretty strong! At least the Kira clan was supposed to according to Hachino-sensei.'
I started to feel bad for Kuroi as Hachino-sensei started to mock him and criticize him. 'It is a bit sad, but Hachino-sensei shouldn't point that out too much. He's having a hard time already.'
I flinched as I heard the horrifying scream. No doubt about it, it wasn't human. I pushed myself off the tree and walked toward Kuroi. 'He's going to kill me.' My anger against him had faded, for now. "You okay? That was a lot of chakra you used." My blades were unlatched, and I prepared to fight with them if it came to it. I looked at Hachino-sensei with a hard look. 'I guess it's just how people around here are trained.' I sighed, still expecting an attack.
"I'm fine." I replied, too exhausted to add an edge of disgust to my voice.
Hachino-sensei looked thouraghly displeased, and I scowled at him. Just like the Elder when he first saw me summon HeiBai. He sat back down the stump and seemed to be thinking to himself as I caught my breath. It wasn't easy! Summoning Hellspawn was a nightmare. And let alone that I could rarely remember the incantations, considering the language was different from the one I spoke day-to-day. Hachino-sensei shook his head to himself and stood up again, pacing around and about the stump before finally sitting back down again, saying, "Kira-kun. Can you track Kusagi-san for me?"
I blinked, "Kusagi-san?"
Hachino-sensei blinked too, "The Elder?"
"Oh!" Kira's weren't supposed to know the Elder's name: That proved another point about Hachino-sensei to me. He wasn't Kira, but he knew every turn-about of the Kira's. "Even without tracking him, he's probably sitting in his study, tracking the progress of the Hunter-nin. I don't have any chakra left." Hachino-sensei raised an eyebrow, "Sure you do. He's pretty close to the training grounds."
I shifted uncomfortably and stuck my palms out, and let out a startled cry, jumping to my feet when the Elder appeared sitting cross-legged right next to me, "Hachino." He said with distaste.
"Or," Hachino-sensei said with a grin, "To be more specific, he's right next to you!"
The elder stood up, his towering figure glaring at Hachino-sensei, "You realize there is more then one teammember in this training ground?" His eyes darted to Hiryuku-san, "You surely have not decidedly revealed all of Kira-san and your own knowledge of the Kira Clan to this..." He stopped short, showing that he was going to say something less then respectful, but had held back- interuppted by Hachino-sensei anyway, "Well Hiryuku-chan deserves to know about her partner. It was only to keep them from killing each other. It's called a mutual understanding." Elder snorted, his white moustache blowing forwards as he did so.
"Kira-san." I narrowed an eye to show him that he had my attention, "You surely did not forget my words?"
"He's my instructor. I can't just tell him no."
His sharp eyes narrowed at me, knowing he was taking disdain that I was following Hachino-sensei's order's and not his. Hachino-sensei seemed to rather be enjoying this, saying, "Kusagi-san! Won't you do a little training with Kira-kun? He's rather behind for his age! I'll help Hiryuku-chan over there-" He pointed at the other end of the training grounds and I sweatdropped, "And you help Kira-kun over there!"
"It's Kira-san Hachino," He practically spat Hachino-sensei's name, "And Kira-san's lack in ability at his current state has nothing to do with you."
"Which is why I'm handing him over to you!"
"Hachino Goukirou, surely you do not expect me to do your job?" Elder sneered, but he was quickly interuppted by Hachino-sensei who shot back, "I don't know why you've been here for the past ten minutes if you haven't been planning on helping the little lord in making over here." He grinned and waved, marching over to the other end of the training grounds, "Me and Hiryuku-chan will be over heeee~re!"
I was about to collapse, knowing that Elder would probably make me summon HeiBai all over again, and expect him to be at full power. But I resisted the urge to groan. Groaning was for commoner's. I bolted upright. So was slouching. Elder glared at me for a moment before nodding in approval. "Do sit down, Kira-san. I feel I have much to explain to you."
"Ehhh!" Hachino-sensei stretched, "What a stiffy-face!" Plopping down on the ground, Hachino-sensei raised an eyebrow at Night, saying, "So, last test. Pull the water from the deposit's underneath the ground up here. That way, in a sense, you can control the water. See if you can do it- It's different from lifting solid objects, and because water is free moving, you should concentrate a little harder. But I don't yet have a tight grasp on what your power exactly is, so I'll see as we go."
OOC: I'm going to skip ALL of Kuroi's training because I think it's completely and totally unesseccary to delve into the details. After my next post, we should leave for Konoha. It'll be a race to test agility, so it should only take about 3 or 2 posts. Hachi-chan will win for sure, naturally. He's not going to wait for us. xDD
I stepped back and gave him some more room. 'I'm getting to attached to my new teamates here!' I scolded myself as I shook my head and leaned against the tree again, trying to gain back as much chakra as I could.
I noticed an old man standing next to Kuroi, before I even heard Hachino-sensei mention him. But I'd figured it was someting Hachino-sensei had planned and left it at that.
I was just about to attack that old pompous man, before Hachino-sensei yet again interupted me, stopping me. I was tired of being treated like a second class citizen. A pure blood line didn't mean they were the best and better than everyone else. 'The Kira clan is getting to be very annoying! No one'll miss them if they die off in a battle.' I was brought out of my thinking when Hachino-sensei plopped on the ground next to me. "Huh? Oh yeah!"
When Hachino-sensei told me what he wanted to do, I yelled in my head. 'Doesn't he know how much chakra it takes! Oh this is going to be fun!' "Okay! Here it goes!" I said as I yet again unwrapped my arms and legs. 'Water's pretty hard, I was only able to do it once, just barely.' This time, I did it a little different. I summoned all my chakra again, this time haveing it flow and stay in the bottom of my feet and the palms of my hands. I bent down and put my palms to the earth, trying to sense the water. I concentrated, useing my wolf ears to listen for it as well. 'Ha! There you are!' I used my telekinesis to pull it out of the ground, as it came out of the ground, I started to stand up. My mind was hurting, if felt as if a ton of lead was on top of it. My arms were throbbing immensly now. I saw the water, I concentrated, trying to keep it up, the ton dropped and I had to use more chakra than I should've. After a minute of holding it, I dropped everything and landed on the ground with a hard thump on my back. I just layed there, regaining all the chakra and strenth I could. "How was that? To your sastification sensei?" I said in a mock tone. I was too tired to care that I said anything.
