Alto Mare, the City of Water. From high above, you see stone and brick buildings, some older than the oldest residents of the city, canals snake through the city in an endless maze of water, tourists and residents of the city move about the streets, and the trees grow lush and tall. Just a short distance from this stunning city are the blue-green waters of the sea, above the city is the vast blue of the sky, and the bright gleam of the sun. Snow white clouds drift overhead as bird Pokemon dive in between and through them. The city seems so...peaceful.
But all is not well, the guardian of Alto Mare, Latias, and her son, the new Latios of Alto Mare, have disappeared, leaving their home deep in the heart of Alto Mare deserted. Many are not aware of this fact, not aware that deep within the Johto Region, Latias and the young Latios are lying in steel cages, chained to the floor of their cage, kept in seperate rooms, and unable to do much more than sleep, eat, and breathe. Not aware that there are people in the building in which they are kept who want to use them for their own personal gain, not aware that the two pokemon are slowly losing hope, in fact, few even know that the two pokemon are gone. The group behind them all has no real name, they simply call themselves X, perhaps for the sake of secrecy, but they all share one common trait, greed. They harbour a thirst for power, and have captured two of the most amazing and powerful pokemon to satisfy their thirst, though how they will use Latias and Latios still remain unknown.
In their absence, the beautiful garden in which they previously lived has begun to wither, and the Soul Dew is without a guardian, making it an easy target for those who want power, without any thought of its consequences. Those people are the ones who will have the power to destroy the city if they get their hands on the Soul Dew, which is kept in a hidden pool, and the people who are seeking the power that comes with the Soul Dew have revealed themselves.
No one really knows what they look like, for they operate by night, and therefore, are rarely seen by others. Many people show no concern over their presence, although the people who show no concern are the very ones who have no clue what devastation can occur when the Soul Dew is in the hands of those two people. Little is known about them, save for their names, their genders, and their goal.
Names: Alya and Kay
Gender: Both Female
Goal: Steal the Soul Dew and use it to destroy Alto Mare and eventually gain control of the Region of Johto (being rather more realistic people, they have not vividly dreamed of taking over the entire Pokemon world yet, though they hope this may happen in the future.)
Both are skilled in disguise and stealth, and are considered to be skilled Pokemon trainers, meaning that their time has not been wasted making useless plans. They will be hard to defeat, but several trainers, aware of the danger that lies in the future of Alto Mare, have decided that they, along with their pokemon, will find a way to stop Alya and Kay from stealing the Soul Dew, and return Latias and the young Latios to Alto Mare.
RULES

2. Please try to stay active if you are to join this roleplay, it is a mark of your dedication and...whatever else. So in other words, please don't join if you know that you will only post a couple of times and then disappear off to...I don't know, Alpha Centauri or something.
3. Legendaries cannot be captured, even though this roleplay involves two legendary pokemon (Latias and Latios), on a rare occasion, one character might see one, but seeing as they're incredibly rare, this, too, is unlikely.
4. No god-modding or bunnying without permission (of the person who plays that character.) That should be obvious, but I like to put it on anyways, for those who aren't aware of that rule.
5. Technically, there shouldn't be a ton of violence in this roleplay, and if there is, it shouldn't be like, broken bones, a ton of blood, etc.
6. Stick to your character's personality and biography, some information about your character might only be revealed once the RP starts, but don't make up a whole new change in personality and a whole new story about your character's childhood and stuff. 7. Try to be original (no Pikachu's who hate their pokeball, or something like that. Its fine to have a Pikachu, just not one that almost copies Ash's Pikechu.) 8. You are responsible for letting me know when you will be inactive for a period of time spanning more than two days, if you haven't posted in a while, I will kick you out of the RP, and I would hate to have to do that if you actually wanted to do this RP, but forgot to let me know. 9. GAME (ROLE?) PLAY INFO
- I will be participating in this roleplay, which means I likely won't grade each and every one of your posts, though occasionally I will compliment your post if it is especially stunning or something, and negative constructive criticism if you really need to improve your posts, because your mistakes/grammatical errors or something similar are too numerous for me to just let slide.
- You will not start out as a beginning trainer, rather, you will be a trainer who already has some experience with Pokemon, meaning that you are allowed to have evolved pokemon and such.
- We will begin the RP when around six or so people have signed up, maybe less, it kind of depends, but let's say six for now.
- Your pokemon will not be decided on strength by level, but rather by how much experience they have had in battling and such.
- You cannot play a Group X member, for their part in the RP will be relatively small until you can do something about Alya and Kay.
- This RP will run in day to day form, as chapters might not work considering this is not a journey. Each day will contain at least one event that will involve your character.
- You will be allowed to control the members of Group X, and Alya and/or Kay in battle and such, however, you may not make them pathetically weak and your character sweeps through the battle defeating each and every one of the members or both Alya and Kay with apparent ease. You will be responsible for making the battles realistic, remember, these will likely be tough battles if you do come face to face with them.
- Just so you know, Group X is in no way connected with Alya and Kay, though they have helped Alya and Kay out somewhat by capturing Latias and Latios, though they aren't aware of it.
- Your pokemon will have access to all the moves it learns naturally, as well as a maximum of three TM/Egg/Tutor moves.

Name:Parker Stoke Age:15 Gender:Male Appearance: Parker wears a bit of an odd form. He has really pale skin and stands at the height of 6 feet. His eyes are a crystal blue, probably one of the most colorful things about him. If that is not the most colorful thing then it has to be his hair. Parker's hair is a dark,burgundy color i(t hangs over one eyes). His hair also has hints of a lighter red, that you can see if you actually take a good look at him. His frame is thin, and very feminine, he doesn't really care.
His clothes are also a bit on the odd side for everyday attire. You would definitely not see someone wearing his wardrobe everyday. This is just how Parker likes to dress. He has a short,black 'top hat' sort of hat with a red ribbon on it. Then he wears a suit. His suit is black, with a burgundy undershirt. It has silver trimming around it. The shoes that he wears are also black, his socks, a reddish-burgundy color. Then around his neck and arms are many charms. He has for necklaces,each with their own meaning. One necklace is a long chain, with a purple rabbit's foot at the bottom. The next is a thin rope, that has a fang at the bottom. Another is a black string thing with many shells on it. Lastly his last necklace is pendant like thing. Inside is a picture of his family when he was much younger. Although, his clothes and hair often change.
Personality: Parker is somewhat of an outcast. He doesn't really like it, but that is just how it flows. This probably happened this because he is sort of new to the town. Really Loves to have friends, but left all his human friends back home. He likes to be unique and away from people who are all the same. He believes that you should be proud of who you are and what you have done. He has been given many labels, such as 'Emo'.'Goth', and 'Punk'. He doesn't really care much for labels though. Parker likes to make an analysis of the situation before charging in. Look before you leap. Parker is very intelligent and often is found leading when everyone else is puzzled or afraid. He doesn't really show sadness or fear. He usually stays calm when everyone is else is panicking. He thinks that there is no point in being sad or panicking as it really does get you no where. He also has an adventurous side. that often gets himself into trouble.
Biography:Parker even as a young child enjoyed the company of pokemon. His parents owned a huge ranch where they bred pokemon. So. he grew up around them learning many techniques for taking care of pokemon. The only thing that he didn't like was how boring it was breeding them, all you did was feed them and clean them, occasionally train them. The job got funner as he grew older, he trained the pokemon alot more. His favorite was an Abra that followed him everywhere that he went.
One day Parker decided to go exploring. He entered a supossedly haunted house and soon found himself being attacked by a group of ghost pokemon. The leader of whitch was a Gengar. He tried to run but the pokemon would not let him, so he just sat down and sulked. Then a huge crash appeared, scaring off all the pokemon but Gengar. The Gengar proceeded to taunt him, but the Abra jumped in to save him. He took quite a beating, but then evolved into a Kadabra and fended off the Gengar and got Parker out of the house safely. When Parker tirned the age of ten he set off on a journey going far and wide. Now he is where he is today. Pokemon: Alakazam-Female:Alakazam nicknamed,"Paige";Parker's first pokemon. Helped Parker escape a Haunter from an abandoned house. Found as an Abra;old childhood friend of Parkers.. Paige goes into a special pokeball with a bent spoon logo on it.
Mismagius-Male:Mismagius nicknamed,"Mithos";One of Parker's newer pokemon. Sent Parker through a really confusing dream, Parker helped him understand that there is a good deep down in his soul. Found as a Misdreavus. Mithos goes into a special pokeball with a spiral on it.
Dusclops-Male: Dusclops nicknamed,"Vanish";Parker's second pokemon. Found one day when Parker was training Paige,caught and then evoled. Vanish goes into a special pokeball with what appears to be dust blowing away in the wind with a faint figure standing there.
Kirlia-Male:Kirlia nicknamed,"Jasper";Parker caught this one while he was away traveling. Found as Ralts. Jasper goes into a special pokeball with a sapphire on it.
Mr.Mime-Male: Mr.Mime nicknamed,"Cacey";found while Parker was aiding the sick and elderly. Found as Mr.Mime. Goes into a special pokeball with a weird bubble like image.
Kirlia-Female:Kirlia Nicnamed,"Rory";caught so that Parker could own both, a Gallade and Gardevoir. Found as Kirlia. Goes into a special pokeball with a ruby on it. Other: Parker, had a small amount of psychic ability. The most he can do is lift light objects.
He puts stickers to label his pokeballs, so that he can find who he wants faster. Also incase of them being robbed or lost. RP Sample: You have seen my work, but if you want I will go fetch it.

Name: Lisa Quillaume, goes by the name Quin
Age: 17
Gender: female
Appearance: Quin has reddish-brown hair, grey eyes and tan skin. Her eyes are relatively large and her face is round which makes her look a lot youger than she actually is. She is short-ish and remotely plump. She usually wears either green or blue clothes and her wardrobe consists mostly of loose, comfortable trousers, somewhat tight hoodies and shirts to wear under the hoodie. She always has her priced white scarf around her neck. When dressing formally, she wears a skirt.
Personality: Quin is always very shy around people she doesn't know, but after a while she becomes more friendly. She is sarcastic and loves to make people laugh, but she is easily provoked into doing stupid things if annoyed by something. In battles, she often cheers for the weaker party, changing sides all the time. She is very adaptive and doesn't get mad easily if something unfair is done to her. She likes being alone but rather spends her time with people she knows. She wants to be a novelist when she gets older.
Biography: Quin was born in Goldenrod City, but her family has moved many times. Her mother is a Pokémon researcher and her father is a novelist. She has two siblings: twins, three years younger than her. One of the twins is a boy, Mark, and the other is a girl, April. She has lived a fairly normal life with her family. The only notable peculiarities about her life are that her mother breeds Skitty as a hobby - she picked it up from Hoenn - so Quin had a Skitty as her starter. She is also often obligated to give Skitty eggs to her friends if there are too many for her mother to take care of. The other peculiarity is, of course, the fact her family has moved often. She's lived practically in every city and town of Johto and one in Kanto (Fuchsia city for about a year; however, she was far too young to remember anything from it) and Hoenn. She started as a trainer when she was 13. Until that time she did not have any interest to be a trainer and she dreamed about being a novelist instead. Later on she decided that it would be good for her career as a novelist to have some experience and so she embarked on her trainer journey with her Skitty.
Pokemon: Skitty - female - nicknamed Audrey - Quin got Audrey from her mom a long time ago. She has yet to evolve into a Delcatty, because Quin hasn't found a Moon Stone on her travels. She is very experienced but not very strong and has lost many times. She doesn't care for battling that much. Marill - male - doesn't have a nickname - Marill is the newest addition to Quin's team. He is somewhat experienced but hasn't battled under Quin's command for a very long time. He has a friendly nature so he gets along with his new team. Quilava - female - nicknamed Cizz - Quin got Cizz as an egg from a strange man who was fascinated by the fact someone had a name that started with the letter "Q". The man was so amused my Quin's name that he gave her the egg he had received. Cizz has a medium amount of experience and is a skilled fighter. She is somewhat of a tactician herself, so she can manage battles without Quin's constant commands. Pupitar - male - nicknamed Mesh (short of Gilgamesh) - Both Quin's younger siblings, Mark and April, caught Larvitars. After they were bred, the egg was given to Quin on the precondition Mark would get to name the newborn Pokémon. He named the Larvitar Gilgamesh, but as Quin disliked the name, she shortened it to Mesh. Mesh is already a fairly experienced Pokémon, but as he is a bit stubborn, he sometimes loses fights. Jumpluff- male - nicknamed Luffy - One of Quin's firt catches, Luffy is already a highly skilled fighter and almost seems to have a mental link with Quin. He's a reliable companion and often tries to make Mesh to behave himself.
(Yes, she only has five Pokémon. That's because she always keeps an empty space in her team to help her mother with hatching the Skitty eggs. She has released any other catches she has made because she doesn't want to trap Pokémon in PC boxer for their life.)
Other: Quin has a white scarf she received from her best friend when her family had to move again. She has had her scarf for years and she goes nowhere without it. She also thinks her real name, Lisa, is too plain, and that's why she has insisted that everyone calls her Quin. She's even concidered having "Quin Quillaume" as her writing name.

Name: Kasey Pierce Age: 16 Gender: Male
Appearance: Standing at 6'1, Kasey is a well built teenage boy. His semi-long, greasy, dark brown hair hangs over his head, showing no signs of life... while his deep blue eyes glow passionately and compliment his lightly tanned skin. Kasey's usual attire consists of a short sleeved black t-shirt and a pair of light blue jeans. On his feet he wears old white skate shoes with tattered pink laces over white ankle socks.
During colder weather Kasey has been seen wearing his usual clothing with a few changes and additions. He adds a white zip-up hoody with Aipom pictures imprinted on it and he swaps his old skate shoes for even older beige ugg boots that look as though they've never been cleaned.
Formal occasions are something Kasey dreads, he hates being seperated from his natural dingy look and old unclean clothes. His normal attire is replaced by a black jacket worn over a thick plain white t-shirt and black dress pants, he keeps his old white skate shoes and adds a black baseball cap worn backwards just to bring out his more rebelious side.
Personality: Most people would describe Kasey as a bit odd and those people would be right. Kasey doesn't like acting like everyone else and is always a bit out there, he enjoys running, shuffling, telling jokes and acting like a complete fool. Although, he is also one of the most calm and collected people you'd ever meet.
Kasey is very smart and knows the answer to nearly every question, but even if he doesn't know... he'll pretend like he does and end up making a joke about it.
What makes Kasey a lot different to all the other adolescent teenage boys out there is the fact that he doesn't spend his time chasing girls. He'd much rather just be himself and let the girls come to him, which doesn't happen all that much seeing as how unusual he is.
When it comes to Pokemon, Kasey is the number one person to come to for all your Pokemon facts. He enjoys hanging out with his Pokemon and treats them more as freinds then as pets.
Kasey loves a good battle, but will only partake in one if his Pokemon want to... he doesn't like to make his freinds do things they don't want to.
Biography: Kasey was born in Goldenrod City, where he lived for most of his life with his mother and older brother, Luke. As a young boy, Kasey enjoyed exploring his surroundings and often wandered off into Ilex Forest... he'd never get lost though, Kasey was much too smart for that to happen.
Kasey's curiousity would usually get him into trouble and cause him to get confind to his room without supper. Luke loved his little brother too much to let him starve, he would always sneak Kasey some food while their mother wasn't looking.
Kasey's mother wasn't like all the other mothers in Goldenrod City, she was a bit of an outcast and often spent her time alone... either getting drunk or crying in her room.
Kasey and Luke tried not to worry too much about it and would usually just take care of themselves.
Once Luke was finally old enough he decided to go on his Pokemon Journey, which meant leaving Kasey with their unstable mother. Luke didn't want his younger brother to get hurt, so he made a few calls and got their grandparents to take care of Kasey while their mother got the help she needed.
So, Luke left to go on his Pokemon Journey and Kasey moved to Ecruteak City to live with his grandparents. He spent the rest of his young life there and finally got the care he needed and deserved.
Soon enough it was time for Kasey to start his own Pokemon Journey, he packed up his things and headed off on his way to New Bark Town.
Pokemon: Aipom-Male: Kasey's first and favourite Pokemon, he doesn't stay inside his Poke Ball and enjoys riding on Kasey's shoulder. Kasey met Aipom in Ilex Forest while he was on his way to New Bark Town, he was being attacked by a Heracross which Kasey scared off by playing his music loudly. Aipom is a very useful part of Kasey's team, knowing such moves as; Swift, Agility and even Thunderbolt.
Bayleef-Female: Kasey recieved Bayleef from Professor Elm when she was just a Chikorita. She is a very proud and determined battler, often trying to be the centre of attention. Kasey loves her dearly as she is the main powerhouse on his team, with strong moves like; Razor Leaf, Light Screen and Body Slam.
Hitmontop-Male: Hitmontop is Kasey's laziest Pokemon and doesn't realise the great power that he holds. Hatching from an egg as a Tyrogue while in Kasey's arms, the fighting Pokemon took an immediate liking to him and has since become a strong addition to his team, honing powerful moves like; Quick Attack, Triple Kick and Detect.
Gligar-Male: The clown of Kasey's Pokemon team, he loves to play pranks on Kasey's other Pokemon and usually gets hurt in the process. Gligar actually found Kasey while he was on his way to a small town, he tripped the teenage trainer as a joke and since then they've been best friends. Despite being such a fool, Gligar has access to some pretty powerful moves... such as; Knock Off, Fury Cutter and Screech.
Sneasel-Female: Kasey's newest Pokemon, he found her lying in the middle of a path where she had been injured and was helpless. She is very moody and stubborn because Kasey hasn't had a chance to train her properly yet. Kasey isn't sure what type of moves Sneasel has to offer, but she has used Ice Punch more than once as a a form of defence.
Kasey has different coloured Poke Balls for each of his Pokemon:
Aipom has a Poke Ball that is purple on top and cream on the bottom
Bayleef has a Poke Ball that is green on top and cream on the bottom
Hitmontop has a Poke Ball that is blue on top and light brown on the bottom
Gligar has a Poke Ball that is purple on top and light blue on the bottom
Sneasel has a Poke Ball that is black on top and pink on the bottom
Other: Kasey never goes anywhere without his white iPod Mini (RETRO!) chock full of different kinds of music, playing it as loud as he can to drown out the world around him. Kasey has a song for every occasion.

Name: Drake Dragono
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: An 18 year old about 2.2 meters tall(About 6'3") with a somewhat brooding appearance, his black hair half way to his shoulders. A small scar can be seen on his neck at odd times when the collar of his long black duster isn't in the way, the shoulders of the coat have an Umbreon(see Display picture) on both making it obvious he probably has an Umbreon. inside the coat a simple red T-shirt leading down to torn denim Jeans and finally a pair of back boots. His eyes are a piercing blue and they don't carry a friendly look.
Personality: Normally he's withdrawn, never saying much to anyone but his pokemon in and out of battle. He never likes traveling with other people, he just prefers being alone. He will however stop if someone needs a hand. He has a tendancy to look people square in the eye when he actually does speak to them. He's also a god listener if you can earn his trust and possibly his friendship. Head strong and determined with a will that makes most people throw there hands up in frustration after five minutes of trying to talk him out of something.
Biography: He was born in Saffron City, is father was a trainer at the Fighting dojo and wanted Drake to follow in his footsteps, Drake had other plans, He wanted to train Dark type pokemon instead. His father became furious and declared then and there he had no son. After than Drake left with the Eevee his uncle had given him a year before. And he has been traveling since. After a few months he began challenging gyms winning a few badges but never making it to the Pokemon League. Eventually he wants to return to Saffron and beat his father with his dark types proving they're just as god as fighting types.
Pokemon:
Umbreon-Female: His first pokemon is a female Umbreon named Luna he received her as an Eevee a year before he left home. Umbreon is clever, with quite a bit of battle experience, She sits in a Black poke ball with white trimming with A white Kanji symbol of darkness on the top of the ball
Houndour-Male: Houndour was the first pokemon he caught, He's stubborn and loyal, Not alot of battle experience since Drake just caught him. Same type of ball as Umbreon only with a red Fire Kanji.
Absol-Female: Drake never officially caught this pokemon, she just started following him one day, not that he minded. Every so often he tries to convince her to let him catch her with one of his poke balls, but she never lets him. She hs some battle experience
Other: He has a small knowledge of what certain plants can do for injuries.
RP Sample: Drake watches as his opponent begins moving swiftly the Scyther barreling down on his Absol before closing his eyes smirking "Absol, Quick attack." both the Scyther and the Absol collide hard both stand for a moment before they both collapse causing Drake to rush to his Absol worried look on his face.

Name: Angel
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance: Rather tall for her age, Angel stands at 1.77m and is of a lean build. She prefers long, silver, split tailed coats and grey jeans, with a white and grey polka dotted 3/4 sleeve top. She also has a pair of silver wristbands with a unique, swirling, vine design on them.
Personality: Level-headed and calm, Angel has a demeanour that makes everyone shy away from her. She likes to be alone, prefering solitude to bustling crowds and festivals. Her pokemon are her best friends and family, sealing her own special bond with them. She's also loyal towards those who manage to get her to trust them and believes that power isn't absolutely everything.
Biography: Angel was born in Johto, Azalea town. Her mother died when she was 2 years old and she continued to live with her father, who was a gardener in the forest nearby. Later, when she was 6 years old, her father died of an unknown illness, leaving Angel to be raised by her grandparents in Blackthorn city. Tandra was also caught here just as she was leaving for Hoenn to see the professor there.
In hoenn, Angel caught Sandra almost immediately and Topaz sometime after. She participated in the contests more than winning the gym badges and wanted to train her pokemon to be more independant. Years later, Angel returned to blackthorn city to find out that her grandparents had died while she had been away and left her their sum of money and the house.
She sold the house to the gym leader, Clair, and went to Alto Mare, once again, finding out that something has happened and that Latias and Latios have been kidnapped and two people are currently trying to find and steal the sould dew. So, by her ways and her nature, she wanted to find Latias and Latios and replace them back where they belong.
Pokemon: Species~Nickname~Gender~Summary
All of Angel's pokemon have special pokeballs made by Kurt for them.
Kyuubi-an Orange coloured pokeball all around with the japanese Kitsune or fox symbol engraved on it repeatedly. Tandra-a sapphire coloured pokeball with an aquamarine gem encased on the top. Husky-Husky's ball is silver with a small line of diamonds circling it. Sandra-while chocolate in colour(yum!), when released, the japanese symbol for ground is displayed. Rio-Rio's pokeball is a plain dark blue with black stripes due to his request. Topaz-her pokeball is a shiny golden coloured as expected, with a small yellow topaz gem encased in the button.
Ninetales~Kyuubi~Male~Kyuubi was just a vulpix in an egg when Angel recieved him from her father, therefore sealing their bond together ever since he was born. Kyuubi is Angel's long time companion, as he has been with her longer than all the others.
Dragonair~Tandra~Female~Tandra was caught by absolute accident when Angel was fishing in blackthorn city. She did not expect a sudden Dratini to hop out of the pond attached to her old rod! Tandra also holds an everstone so she can't evolve anymore.
Honchkrow~Husky~Male~Husky was actually a prank present to Angel for her halloween party. Strangely though, in the end, he ended up nearly pecking the person that sent him to Angel in a cage to death.
Flygon~Sandra~Female~Sandra was caught nearly the same time as Tandra while as a Trapinch, so it wasn't too strange that Angel made their names almost the same.
Lucario~Rio~Male~Silent and Loyal, Rio obeys Angel without a word, therefore he's her second most loyal companion after Kyuubi. She also recieved him from egg, a chirstmas present from her grandparents.
Manectric~Topaz~Female~Topaz had been abandoned by it's previous owner in a cave full of ground type pokemon. When Angel found her, she had suffered internal damage, loss of self esteem and had an abnormal fear of digletts and dugtrios. Angel has been trying to mend the damage ever since.
Other: Unfortunately Angel cannot swim, so therefore, she needs to rely on Tandra alot when dealing with rivers, lakes and open seas. RP Sample: "grrrr...can this day get any worse?" Haelii muttered underneath her breath. She tucked her tail and paws underneath her even closer, away from the entrance of the small hollow she had found. Outside, the pitter-patter sounds of rain pouring down could be clearly heard. She laid her head down on a pile of moss she had collected and watched the drops of rain hit the ground. Maybe now was a good time for a nap.
Haelii sniffed the air hesitantly, making sure not to run into any savage pokemon. She had been traveling for days around the area near her home, wondering where to go next, as the condition of her home was worsening and she wanted to stop it before it degraded entirely. She had managed to find, on the eastern bordor of flare land, a dusty, old tome describing the mythology on the land around here. Deciding to act of what the tome said, she had searched the abandoned village for days on end, looking for a map to lead her to the south pole. In the end, she had to tear all of the small maps off the wall in a community hall and use those. Haelii padded towards a dense bush, staring at the plump blue berries adorning it's rim. She opened her mouth slightly to pluck one from it's branch before hesitating, 'If the berries weren't poisonous, wouldn't they have been eaten by now?' she fought a raging battle in her head between logic and hunger. Sooner or later, logic eventually won and she stepped away from the bush. Suddenly, an undersized Trapinch scrambled out and plopped onto the ground, landing at her feet. "eh? just what is a Trapinch doing out here in the middle of a volcanic ashland?" Haelii accused it. The Trapinch looked up at her with large eyes, "I can help you find the south pole" was all it said.

Name: Scott Musgrove Age: 15 Gender: Male Appearance: Scott is very tall for his age, standing at 5 foot 11. He has dark brown hair which is slightly bushy and long, covering his ears but does not come paralel to his chin. He is slightly muscley but it is not visible under clothes. He has a long body and average sized limbs which are covered in slightly tanned skin. Scott usually wears a stripy, green top and blue jeans which are slightly baggy. He has bronze glasses and a necklace made from string with a Sharpedo tooth on it. he has blue, denim baseball boots and a small watch around his wrist.
When it is cold, you will normaly find him wearing what he ussualy wears, along with a long, brown coat that stops just above his knees. When it is really cold, he will wear a scarf the same as his top, green and stripy. At formal occasions, he will wear a black top and black trousers, along with a white, velvet tie. He still wears his Sharpedo Knecklace, only underneath his outfit.
Personality: Scott is very jolly and happy-go-lucky all of the time. You can always find him smiling, and will only have a frown when someone has been hurt or is in danger. He is very careful, and will go out of his way to help any one else that is in danger, may it be friends or foes. He is also fare, and think that he should only be nasty to people if they are being nasty aswell. He gets angry when others are unfair and will try and state his policy boldly and stick to it. He also doesn't like scolding his Pokemon or any one else. if he is nasty by accident, he is quick to appologize and make up for the little out-burst.
Biography: Scott grew up in Sinnoh. He was born and bred in Twinleaf Town, and had no problem living there. Despite the fact he was lonely and couldn't really socialize with any one in Town, he loved to interact with Pokemon, and was delighted when his Father brought him home a Pokemon. he had always wanted to become a Pokemon Trainer, being set an xample by his Sister, and Gym Leader, Fanita. His Father was a Scientist and worked for the famous Proffesor Rowan, and was always out on the field. His Mother was an Ex-Pokemon Coordinator, so he had plenty of encouragment and help, so his Family cheered him on, and, at the age of 13, he became a Trainer and set about Sinnoh.
Pokemon: Scotts first Pokemon was a Misdreavus. He obtained her from his Father when she was still Level 1. He trained her hard, and eventually, she evolved into a Mismagius with the aid of a dusk Stone. She had traveled everywhere with Scott, and grew an excellent bond together, always sharing memories, or just talking to each other when ever Scott was alone.
Another of Scotts Pokemon is Combee. Recived in a Trade between Scotts unloved Onix, Combee was happy with Scott, and didn't seem bothered leaving her old Trainer. They Trained well together, and always got along. Combee seemed very useful at keeping the Team full when times of hunger attacked. She is also extremly fast and skilled in battle with the little moveset she has.
Scotts last Pokemon is his Male Snover. He captured Snover in Floroama Meadow, but has always wondered what he was doing there. They made friends easily, and loved to battle together, always beating there enemies. Scott always found Snover a bit strong-powered, and sometimes disobeys what Scott says and attacks without thinking.

"Loads of my favirote Pokemon are here!" Said Scott eagerly. "Well you're not gonna be able to catch any, 'cause I've got a trainer to beat!" Replied Amelia smugly. they walked around for a few moments, until they found the perfect spot for a battle. Trees surrounded them in what seemed like a wall, and some Pokemon spectators peered through the trees.
"Now, let's go Turtwig!" Shouted Amelia as she through the Pokeball in the air and it seemed to explode and settle into the small Turtwig. "If I know my pokemon, turtwig is a grass type, which means poison should be good." Pondered Scott until he finnaly reached his desicion. "GO! SKORUPI!" Bellowed Scott as he to threw the Pokeball, summoning a light that gathered into a Skorupi. "Sko!" It screeched happily. "You may have the first move, Scott." exclaimed Amelia kindly. "Thankyou." Replied Scott with a smile,"Now. Skorupi, use poison sting!" commanded Scott. Skorupi dashed up to the Turtwig, piercing it in its shell. "Turtwig, use withdraw then rapid spin!" Shouted Amelia. Rapid Spin?! thought Scott with a puzzled look on his face. turtwig withdrew into his shell and began to spin very quickly. Skorupi was still attached to Turtwigs shell and was spinning around with him. Suddenly, Skorupi flew off and skidded across the ground.
"Turtwig, Bullet Seed!" Commanded Amelia. Turtwig was still spinning but was sending out bullet-like seeds in all directions. "Quick, Dodge!" Shouted Scott. Skorupi turned off his back and jumped high in the air, using his tail to propel himself. The bullets flew underneath him. "Now, poison sting again!" shouted Scott. Skorupi flew towards Turtwig, knocking him off the ground and into the air, where Turtwig came back out of his shell and landed in a bush. "Again, Skorupi!" shouted Scott. Skorupi zoomed into the Turtwig and poisoned it, eventually causing it to faint. "Excellent work, Turtwig! Return!" said Amelia with a slight hint of sadness in the tone of her voice, as a red light covvered Turtwig and sucked him back in his ball.
Name:Parker Stoke Age:15 Gender:Male Appearance:Parker wears a bit of an odd form. He has really pale skin and stands at the height of 6 feet. His eyes are a crystal blue, probably one of the most colorful things about him. If that is not the most colorful thing then it has to be his hair. Parker's hair is a dark,burgundy color i(t hangs over one eyes). His hair also has hints of a lighter red, that you can see if you actually take a good look at him. His frame is thin, and very feminine, he doesn't really care.
His clothes are also a bit on the odd side for everyday attire. You would definitely not see someone wearing his wardrobe everyday. This is just how Parker likes to dress. He has a short,black 'top hat' sort of hat with a red ribbon on it. Then he wears a suit. His suit is black, with a burgundy undershirt. It has silver trimming around it. The shoes that he wears are also black, his socks, a reddish-burgundy color. Then around his neck and arms are many charms. He has for necklaces,each with their own meaning. One necklace is a long chain, with a purple rabbit's foot at the bottom. The next is a thin rope, that has a fang at the bottom. Another is a black string thing with many shells on it. Lastly his last necklace is pendant like thing. Inside is a picture of his family when he was much younger. Although, his clothes and hair often change.
Personality: Parker is somewhat of an outcast. He doesn't really like it, but that is just how it flows. This probably happened this because he is sort of new to the town. Really Loves to have friends, but left all his human friends back home. He likes to be unique and away from people who are all the same. He believes that you should be proud of who you are and what you have done. He has been given many labels, such as 'Emo'.'Goth', and 'Punk'. He doesn't really care much for labels though. Parker likes to make an analysis of the situation before charging in. Look before you leap. Parker is very intelligent and often is found leading when everyone else is puzzled or afraid. He doesn't really show sadness or fear. He usually stays calm when everyone is else is panicking. He thinks that there is no point in being sad or panicking as it really does get you no where. He also has an adventurous side. that often gets himself into trouble.
Biography:Parker even as a young child enjoyed the company of pokemon. His parents owned a huge ranch where they bred pokemon. So. he grew up around them learning many techniques for taking care of pokemon. The only thing that he didn't like was how boring it was breeding them, all you did was feed them and clean them, occasionally train them. The job got funner as he grew older, he trained the pokemon alot more. His favorite was an Abra that followed him everywhere that he went.
One day Parker decided to go exploring. He entered a supossedly haunted house and soon found himself being attacked by a group of ghost pokemon. The leader of whitch was a Gengar. He tried to run but the pokemon would not let him, so he just sat down and sulked. Then a huge crash appeared, scaring off all the pokemon but Gengar. The Gengar proceeded to taunt him, but the Abra jumped in to save him. He took quite a beating, but then evolved into a Kadabra and fended off the Gengar and got Parker out of the house safely. When Parker tirned the age of ten he set off on a journey going far and wide. Now he is where he is today. Pokemon:
Alakazam-Female: Alakazam nicknamed,"Paige";Parker's first pokemon. Helped Parker escape a Haunter from an abandoned house. Found as an Abra;old childhood friend of Parkers.. Paige goes into a special pokeball with a bent spoon logo on it.
Mismagius-Male:Mismagius nicknamed,"Mithos";One of Parker's newer pokemon. Sent Parker through a really confusing dream, Parker helped him understand that there is a good deep down in his soul. Found as a Misdreavus. Mithos goes into a special pokeball with a spiral on it.
Dusclops-Male: Dusclops nicknamed,"Vanish";Parker's second pokemon. Found one day when Parker was training Paige,caught and then evoled. Vanish goes into a special pokeball with what appears to be dust blowing away in the wind with a faint figure standing there.
Kirlia-Male:Kirlia nicknamed,"Jasper";Parker caught this one while he was away traveling. Found as Ralts. Jasper goes into a special pokeball with a sapphire on it.
Mr.Mime-Male: Mr.Mime nicknamed,"Cacey";found while Parker was aiding the sick and elderly. Found as Mr.Mime. Goes into a special pokeball with a weird bubble like image.
Kirlia-Female:Kirlia Nicnamed,"Rory";caught so that Parker could own both, a Gallade and Gardevoir. Found as Kirlia. Goes into a special pokeball with a ruby on it. Other: Parker, had a small amount of psychic ability. The most he can do is lift light objects.
He puts stickers to label his pokeballs, so that he can find who he wants faster. Also incase of them being robbed or lost. RP Sample: You have seen my work, but if you want I will go fetch it.
Lostt- Yeah, sure, your reserved. The point is that both Group X and Alya and Kay are fighting to gain control of Alto Mare. Your role in the roleplay is to keep Alya and Kay from stealing the Soul Dew, and Group X from carrying on their plans. Both pairs/groups of people will be working to carry out their plans daily, and it is likely that both will have followers willing to assist them in their attempts to gain control of Alto Mare, the Soul Dew, or the world.

Name: Lisa Quillaume, goes by the name Quin
Age: 17
Gender: female
Appearance: Quin has reddish-brown hair, grey eyes and tan skin. Her eyes are relatively large and her face is round which makes her look a lot youger than she actually is. She is short-ish and remotely plump. She usually wears either green or blue clothes and her wardrobe consists mostly of loose, comfortable trousers, somewhat tight hoodies and shirts to wear under the hoodie. She always has her priced white scarf around her neck. When dressing formally, she wears a skirt.
Personality: Quin is always very shy around people she doesn't know, but after a while she becomes more friendly. She is sarcastic and loves to make people laugh, but she is easily provoked into doing stupid things if annoyed by something. In battles, she often cheers for the weaker party, changing sides all the time. She is very adaptive and doesn't get mad easily if something unfair is done to her. She likes being alone but rather spends her time with people she knows. She wants to be a novelist when she gets older.
Biography: Quin was born in Goldenrod City, but her family has moved many times. Her mother is a Pokémon researcher and her father is a novelist. She has two siblings: twins, three years younger than her. One of the twins is a boy, Mark, and the other is a girl, April. She has lived a fairly normal life with her family. The only notable peculiarities about her life are that her mother breeds Skitty as a hobby - she picked it up from Hoenn - so Quin had a Skitty as her starter. She is also often obligated to give Skitty eggs to her friends if there are too many for her mother to take care of. The other peculiarity is, of course, the fact her family has moved often. She's lived practically in every city and town of Johto and one in Kanto (Fuchsia city for about a year; however, she was far too young to remember anything from it) and Hoenn. She started as a trainer when she was 13. Until that time she did not have any interest to be a trainer and she dreamed about being a novelist instead. Later on she decided that it would be good for her career as a novelist to have some experience and so she embarked on her trainer journey with her Skitty.
Pokemon: Skitty- female - nicknamed Audrey - Quin got Audrey from her mom a long time ago. She has yet to evolve into a Delcatty, because Quin hasn't found a Moon Stone on her travels. She is very experienced but not very strong and has lost many times. She doesn't care for battling that much. Marill - male - doesn't have a nickname - Marill is the newest addition to Quin's team. He is somewhat experienced but hasn't battled under Quin's command for a very long time. He has a friendly nature so he gets along with his new team. Quilava - female - nicknamed Cizz - Quin got Cizz as an egg from a strange man who was fascinated by the fact someone had a name that started with the letter "Q". The man was so amused my Quin's name that he gave her the egg he had received. Cizz has a medium amount of experience and is a skilled fighter. She is somewhat of a tactician herself, so she can manage battles without Quin's constant commands. Pupitar - male - nicknamed Mesh (short of Gilgamesh) - Both Quin's younger siblings, Mark and April, caught Larvitars. After they were bred, the egg was given to Quin on the precondition Mark would get to name the newborn Pokémon. He named the Larvitar Gilgamesh, but as Quin disliked the name, she shortened it to Mesh. Mesh is already a fairly experienced Pokémon, but as he is a bit stubborn, he sometimes loses fights. Jumpluff - male - nicknamed Luffy - One of Quin's firt catches, Luffy is already a highly skilled fighter and almost seems to have a mental link with Quin. He's a reliable companion and often tries to make Mesh to behave himself.
(Yes, she only has five Pokémon. That's because she always keeps an empty space in her team to help her mother with hatching the Skitty eggs. She has released any other catches she has made because she doesn't want to trap Pokémon in PC boxer for their life.)
Other: Quin has a white scarf she received from her best friend when her family had to move again. She has had her scarf for years and she goes nowhere without it. She also thinks her real name, Lisa, is too plain, and that's why she has insisted that everyone calls her Quin. She's even concidered having "Quin Quillaume" as her writing name.
RP Sample: As I already mentioned, I've never roleplayed before, but I think I'll do fine. You can check my fics if you want to see how I write generally, but other than that, I have nothing to present you. Sorry.
Appearance: Standing at 6'1, Kasey is a well built teenage boy. His semi-long, greasy, dark brown hair hangs over his head, showing no signs of life... while his deep blue eyes glow passionately and compliment his lightly tanned skin. Kasey's usual attire consists of a short sleeved black t-shirt and a pair of light blue jeans. On his feet he wears old white skate shoes with tattered pink laces over white ankle socks.
During colder weather Kasey has been seen wearing his usual clothing with a few changes and additions. He adds a white zip-up hoody with Aipom pictures imprinted on it and he swaps his old skate shoes for even older beige ugg boots that look as though they've never been cleaned.
Formal occasions are something Kasey dreads, he hates being seperated from his natural dingy look and old unclean clothes. His normal attire is replaced by a black jacket worn over a thick plain white t-shirt and black dress pants, he keeps his old white skate shoes and adds a black baseball cap worn backwards just to bring out his more rebelious side.
Personality: Most people would describe Kasey as a bit odd and those people would be right. Kasey doesn't like acting like everyone else and is always a bit out there, he enjoys running, shuffling, telling jokes and acting like a complete fool. Although, he is also one of the most calm and collected people you'd ever meet.
Kasey is very smart and knows the answer to nearly every question, but even if he doesn't know... he'll pretend like he does and end up making a joke about it.
What makes Kasey a lot different to all the other adolescent teenage boys out there is the fact that he doesn't spend his time chasing girls. He'd much rather just be himself and let the girls come to him, which doesn't happen all that much seeing as how unusual he is.
When it comes to Pokemon, Kasey is the number one person to come to for all your Pokemon facts. He enjoys hanging out with his Pokemon and treats them more as freinds then as pets.
Kasey loves a good battle, but will only partake in one if his Pokemon want to... he doesn't like to make his freinds do things they don't want to.
Biography: Kasey was born in Goldenrod City, where he lived for most of his life with his mother and older brother, Luke. As a young boy, Kasey enjoyed exploring his surroundings and often wandered off into Ilex Forest... he'd never get lost though, Kasey was much too smart for that to happen.
Kasey's curiousity would usually get him into trouble and cause him to get confind to his room without supper. Luke loved his little brother too much to let him starve, he would always sneak Kasey some food while their mother wasn't looking.
Kasey's mother wasn't like all the other mothers in Goldenrod City, she was a bit of an outcast and often spent her time alone... either getting drunk or crying in her room.
Kasey and Luke tried not to worry too much about it and would usually just take care of themselves.
Once Luke was finally old enough he decided to go on his Pokemon Journey, which meant leaving Kasey with their unstable mother. Luke didn't want his younger brother to get hurt, so he made a few calls and got their grandparents to take care of Kasey while their mother got the help she needed.
So, Luke left to go on his Pokemon Journey and Kasey moved to Ecruteak City to live with his grandparents. He spent the rest of his young life there and finally got the care he needed and deserved.
Soon enough it was time for Kasey to start his own Pokemon Journey, he packed up his things and headed off on his way to New Bark Town.
Pokemon: Aipom-Male: Kasey's first and favourite Pokemon, he doesn't stay inside his Poke Ball and enjoys riding on Kasey's shoulder. Kasey met Aipom in Ilex Forest while he was on his way to New Bark Town, he was being attacked by a Heracross which Kasey scared off by playing his music loudly. Aipom is a very useful part of Kasey's team, knowing such moves as; Swift, Agility and even Thunderbolt.
Bayleef-Female: Kasey recieved Bayleef from Professor Elm when she was just a Chikorita. She is a very proud and determined battler, often trying to be the centre of attention. Kasey loves her dearly as she is the main powerhouse on his team, with strong moves like; Razor Leaf, Light Screen and Body Slam.
Hitmontop-Male: Hitmontop is Kasey's laziest Pokemon and doesn't realise the great power that he holds. Hatching from an egg as a Tyrogue while in Kasey's arms, the fighting Pokemon took an immediate liking to him and has since become a strong addition to his team, honing powerful moves like; Quick Attack, Triple Kick and Detect.
Gligar-Male: The clown of Kasey's Pokemon team, he loves to play pranks on Kasey's other Pokemon and usually gets hurt in the process. Gligar actually found Kasey while he was on his way to a small town, he tripped the teenage trainer as a joke and since then they've been best friends. Despite being such a fool, Gligar has access to some pretty powerful moves... such as; Knock Off, Fury Cutter and Screech.
Sneasel-Female: Kasey's newest Pokemon, he found her lying in the middle of a path where she had been injured and was helpless. She is very moody and stubborn because Kasey hasn't had a chance to train her properly yet. Kasey isn't sure what type of moves Sneasel has to offer, but she has used Ice Punch more than once as a a form of defence.
Kasey has different coloured Poke Balls for each of his Pokemon:
Aipom has a Poke Ball that is purple on top and cream on the bottom
Bayleef has a Poke Ball that is green on top and cream on the bottom
Hitmontop has a Poke Ball that is blue on top and light brown on the bottom
Gligar has a Poke Ball that is purple on top and light blue on the bottom
Sneasel has a Poke Ball that is black on top and pink on the bottom
Other: Kasey never goes anywhere without his white iPod Mini (RETRO!) chock full of different kinds of music, playing it as loud as he can to drown out the world around him. Kasey has a song for every occasion.

Lostt- I hadn't realized that you had finished your profile! XD Anyways, nicely done, Accepted. I suppose his small amount of psychic abilities are from the many Psychic pokemon he owns, normally I would say that was unrealistic, but I guess having mostly Psychic pokemon can have an effect on you.

Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: An 18 year old about 2.2 meters tall(About 6'3") with a somewhat brooding appearance, his black hair half way to his shoulders. A small scar can be seen on his neck at odd times when the collar of his long black duster isn't in the way, the shoulders of the coat have an Umbreon(see Display picture) on both making it obvious he probably has an Umbreon. inside the coat a simple red T-shirt leading down to torn denim Jeans and finally a pair of back boots. His eyes are a piercing blue and they don't carry a friendly look.
Personality: Normally he's withdrawn, never saying much to anyone but his pokemon in and out of battle. He never likes traveling with other people, he just prefers being alone. He will however stop if someone needs a hand. He has a tendancy to look people square in the eye when he actually does speak to them. He's also a god listener if you can earn his trust and possibly his friendship. Head strong and determined with a will that makes most people throw there hands up in frustration after five minutes of trying to talk him out of something.
Biography: He was born in Saffron City, is father was a trainer at the Fighting dojo and wanted Drake to follow in his footsteps, Drake had other plans, He wanted to train Dark type pokemon instead. His father became furious and declared then and there he had no son. After than Drake left with the Eevee his uncle had given him a year before. And he has been traveling since. After a few months he began challenging gyms winning a few badges but never making it to the Pokemon League. Eventually he wants to return to Saffron and beat his father with his dark types proving they're just as god as fighting types.
Pokemon:
Umbreon-Female: His first pokemon is a female Umbreon named Luna he received her as an Eevee a year before he left home. Umbreon is clever, with quite a bit of battle experience, She sits in a Black poke ball with white trimming with A white Kanji symbol of darkness on the top of the ball
Houndour-Male: Houndour was the first pokemon he caught, He's stubborn and loyal, Not alot of battle experience since Drake just caught him. Same type of ball as Umbreon only with a red Fire Kanji.

I hope I'm not too late to sign up! Name: Angel Age: 15 Gender: Female Appearance: Rather tall for her age, Angel stands at 1.77m and is of a lean build. She prefers long, silver, split tailed coats and grey jeans, with a white and grey polka dotted 3/4 sleeve top. She also has a pair of silver wristbands with a unique, swirling, vine design on them. Personality: Level-headed and calm, Angel has a demeanour that makes everyone shy away from her. She likes to be alone, prefering solitude to bustling crowds and festivals. Her pokemon are her best friends and family, sealing her own special bond with them. She's also loyal towards those who manage to get her to trust them and believes that power isn't absolutely everything. Biography: Angel was born in Johto, Azalea town. Her mother died when she was 2 years old and she continued to live with her father, who was a gardener in the forest nearby. Later, when she was 6 years old, her father died of an unknown illness, leaving Angel to be raised by her grandparents in Blackthorn city. Tandra was also caught here just as she was leaving for Hoenn to see the professor there. In hoenn, Angel caught Sandra almost immediately and Topaz sometime after. She participated in the contests more than winning the gym badges and wanted to train her pokemon to be more independant. Years later, Angel returned to blackthorn city to find out that her grandparents had died while she had been away and left her their sum of money and the house. She sold the house to the gym leader, Clair, and went to Alto Mare, once again, finding out that something has happened and that Latias and Latios have been kidnapped and two people are currently trying to find and steal the sould dew. So, by her ways and her nature, she wanted to find Latias and Latios and replace them back where they belong. Pokemon: Species~Nickname~Gender~Summary All of Angel's pokemon have special pokeballs made by Kurt for them. Kyuubi-an Orange coloured pokeball all around with the japanese Kitsune or fox symbol engraved on it repeatedly. Tandra-a sapphire coloured pokeball with an aquamarine gem encased on the top. Husky-Husky's ball is silver with a small line of diamonds circling it. Sandra-while chocolate in colour(yum!), when released, the japanese symbol for ground is displayed. Rio-Rio's pokeball is a plain dark blue with black stripes due to his request. Topaz-her pokeball is a shiny golden coloured as expected, with a small yellow topaz gem encased in the button. Ninetales~Kyuubi~Male~Kyuubi was just a vulpix in an egg when Angel recieved him from her father, therefore sealing their bond together ever since he was born. Kyuubi is Angel's long time companion, as he has been with her longer than all the others. Dragonair~Tandra~Female~Tandra was caught by absolute accident when Angel was fishing in blackthorn city. She did not expect a sudden Dratini to hop out of the pond attached to her old rod! Tandra also holds an everstone so she can't evolve anymore. Honchkrow~Husky~Male~Husky was actually a prank present to Angel for her halloween party. Strangely though, in the end, he ended up nearly pecking the person that sent him to Angel in a cage to death. Flygon~Sandra~Female~Sandra was caught nearly the same time as Tandra while as a Trapinch, so it wasn't too strange that Angel made their names almost the same. Lucario~Rio~Male~Silent and Loyal, Rio obeys Angel without a word, therefore he's her second most loyal companion after Kyuubi. She also recieved him from egg, a chirstmas present from her grandparents. Manectric~Topaz~Female~Topaz had been abandoned by it's previous owner in a cave full of ground type pokemon. When Angel found her, she had suffered internal damage, loss of self esteem and had an abnormal fear of digletts and dugtrios. Angel has been trying to mend the damage ever since. Other: Unfortunately Angel cannot swim, so therefore, she needs to rely on Tandra alot when dealing with rivers, lakes and open seas. RP Sample: "grrrr...can this day get any worse?" Haelii muttered underneath her breath. She tucked her tail and paws underneath her even closer, away from the entrance of the small hollow she had found. Outside, the pitter-patter sounds of rain pouring down could be clearly heard. She laid her head down on a pile of moss she had collected and watched the drops of rain hit the ground. Maybe now was a good time for a nap. Haelii sniffed the air hesitantly, making sure not to run into any savage pokemon. She had been traveling for days around the area near her home, wondering where to go next, as the condition of her home was worsening and she wanted to stop it before it degraded entirely. She had managed to find, on the eastern bordor of flare land, a dusty, old tome describing the mythology on the land around here. Deciding to act of what the tome said, she had searched the abandoned village for days on end, looking for a map to lead her to the south pole. In the end, she had to tear all of the small maps off the wall in a community hall and use those. Haelii padded towards a dense bush, staring at the plump blue berries adorning it's rim. She opened her mouth slightly to pluck one from it's branch before hesitating, 'If the berries weren't poisonous, wouldn't they have been eaten by now?' she fought a raging battle in her head between logic and hunger. Sooner or later, logic eventually won and she stepped away from the bush. Suddenly, an undersized Trapinch scrambled out and plopped onto the ground, landing at her feet. "eh? just what is a Trapinch doing out here in the middle of a volcanic ashland?" Haelii accused it. The Trapinch looked up at her with large eyes, "I can help you find the south pole" was all it said.
Name: Xemnas Trius Age: 13 Gender: Male Appearance: Born with white hair as either a birth effect or just something inherited, he stands at about 5"5 and has a medium build. He is quite tall, even though at his young age, or at least, that is what his friends say. He usually wears a white shirt and pants, and often walks barefoot, even in public spaces. He has a bracelet on his left wrist which looks like a bronze chain of Unown which spell "Observe" Personality: He is a realistic and intelligent person, who is kind and thoughtful, even in times where he is at a point where people normally fight him, the same reason that he has many friends, even his former enemies are his friends now. He rarely goes outside, because he is often a recluse. Biography: Born in Alto Mare, where he currently lives, he lives with his parents, Junelle and Artemis, and his grandmother, Minerva, who even at old age, is a well-known battler in Alto Mare. Mismagius-Nick: Irish - Female Once caught as Misdreavus under an old bridge, the pokemon won enough battles to make it level 42, and evolved during the stone parade in 2004, where stones are given away. It has Shadow Ball, Ominous Wind, Magical Leaf, and Screech
Gardevoir - Nick: Embrace - Female Caught as a Kirlia in a garden, Embrace evolved after training for a special competition. Moveset is Psychic, Imprison, Double Team and Destiny Bond.
Dodrio - Nick: Strom - Male Strom was given to Xemnas as a Doduo by a mysterious man. Strangely, on the first battle it won, it instantaneously evolved into Dodrio. Moveset is Tri Attack, Rage, Fly, and Drill Peck.
Hitmonlee - Nick: Tremis - Male A lone Tyrogue went up to their front door and nearly died of hunger, but the family took care of it, thus Tremis became very fond and loyal to the family. It evolved after training with Minerva one day. Moveset is Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Metronome, and Leer. Other: The Pokeballs that Xemnas keep his Pokemon in are marked with Unown letters that determine which Pokemon are in them. The letters form one word each, and all in all, the Pokeballs spell "ALL - MAY - REST - WELL" RP Sample:
The sunlight shines bright on the statues of the Eons, and on the eyelids of Xemnas, who instantly awoke. Grabbing his school bag, and dressing in a uniform, he bolted out the house...
"Dang! I'm late!"
In his rush, he tripped on a Shellos, and whimpered in pain. Then the neighbors commented...
"Hey, Xem! What are ya doin' on a Weekend?"
"Weekend? Groan..."
And he returned home, slightly humiliated. On his return, a Pokemon materialized out of his backpack...
"Irish! What were you doing in my backpack?!"
The Mismagius merely giggled and returned home along with him. It seemed Irish knew what was going to happen. Did Embrace warn her, perhaps?
"Sigh...Saturday...So, whatcha wanna do?"
The Pokemon looked up with its mouth mumbling something. It then came to a conclusion and created an illsuion in his eyes, and pointed to a mirage of children eating by a window nearby.
"You hungry, Irish?"
It nodded.
"Okay then. I'm sure Mom, Dad and Grandma are preparing breakfast right now. What exactly do you want to eat?"
It pointed again to the window, and the children were eating fruits, like Apples and Pears...
"Good point....Gee, my stomach's rumbling, we should get home now huh?"
The ghost pointed to the grafitti on the brick wall, which said "DUH!"

Name: Scott Musgrove Age: 15 Gender: Male Appearance: Scott is very tall for his age, standing at 5 foot 11. He has dark brown hair which is slightly bushy and long, covering his ears but does not come paralel to his chin. He is slightly muscley but it is not visible under clothes. He has a long body and average sized limbs which are covered in slightly tanned skin. Scott usually wears a stripy, green top and blue jeans which are slightly baggy. He has bronze glasses and a necklace made from string with a Sharpedo tooth on it. he has blue, denim baseball boots and a small watch around his wrist.
When it is cold, you will normaly find him wearing what he ussualy wears, along with a long, brown coat that stops just above his knees. When it is really cold, he will wear a scarf the same as his top, green and stripy. At formal occasions, he will wear a black top and black trousers, along with a white, velvet tie. He still wears his Sharpedo Knecklace, only underneath his outfit.
Personality: Scott is very jolly and happy-go-lucky all of the time. You can always find him smiling, and will only have a frown when someone has been hurt or is in danger. He is very careful, and will go out of his way to help any one else that is in danger, may it be friends or foes. He is also fare, and think that he should only be nasty to people if they are being nasty aswell. He gets angry when others are unfair and will try and state his policy boldly and stick to it. He also doesn't like scolding his Pokemon or any one else. if he is nasty by accident, he is quick to appologize and make up for the little out-burst.
Biography: Scott grew up in Sinnoh. He was born and bred in Twinleaf Town, and had no problem living there. Despite the fact he was lonely and couldn't really socialize with any one in Town, he loved to interact with Pokemon, and was delighted when his Father brought him home a Pokemon. he had always wanted to become a Pokemon Trainer, being set an xample by his Sister, and Gym Leader, Fanita. His Father was a Scientist and worked for the famous Proffesor Rowan, and was always out on the field. His Mother was an Ex-Pokemon Coordinator, so he had plenty of encouragment and help, so his Family cheered him on, and, at the age of 13, he became a Trainer and set about Sinnoh.
Pokemon: Scotts first Pokemon was a Misdreavus. He obtained her from his Father when she was still Level 1. He trained her hard, and eventually, she evolved into a Mismagius with the aid of a dusk Stone. She had traveled everywhere with Scott, and grew an excellent bond together, always sharing memories, or just talking to each other when ever Scott was alone.
Another of Scotts Pokemon is Combee. Recived in a Trade between Scotts unloved Onix, Combee was happy with Scott, and didn't seem bothered leaving her old Trainer. They Trained well together, and always got along. Combee seemed very useful at keeping the Team full when times of hunger attacked. She is also extremly fast and skilled in battle with the little moveset she has.
Scotts last Pokemon is his Male Snover. He captured Snover in Floroama Meadow, but has always wondered what he was doing there. They made friends easily, and loved to battle together, always beating there enemies. Scott always found Snover a bit strong-powered, and sometimes disobeys what Scott says and attacks without thinking.

Scott entered the loomy forest. beams of sunlight shone through the gaps between branches and Hoppip driffted past singing a melodic tune. "WOW!" Shouted Scott,"This place isn't that scary." boasted Scott. He opened up his Pokedex and pointed it upwards.

"Loads of my favirote Pokemon are here!" Said Scott eagerly. "Well you're not gonna be able to catch any, 'cause I've got a trainer to beat!" Replied Amelia smugly. they walked around for a few moments, until they found the perfect spot for a battle. Trees surrounded them in what seemed like a wall, and some Pokemon spectators peered through the trees.
"Now, let's go Turtwig!" Shouted Amelia as she through the Pokeball in the air and it seemed to explode and settle into the small Turtwig. "If I know my pokemon, turtwig is a grass type, which means poison should be good." Pondered Scott until he finnaly reached his desicion. "GO! SKORUPI!" Bellowed Scott as he to threw the Pokeball, summoning a light that gathered into a Skorupi. "Sko!" It screeched happily. "You may have the first move, Scott." exclaimed Amelia kindly. "Thankyou." Replied Scott with a smile,"Now. Skorupi, use poison sting!" commanded Scott. Skorupi dashed up to the Turtwig, piercing it in its shell. "Turtwig, use withdraw then rapid spin!" Shouted Amelia. Rapid Spin?! thought Scott with a puzzled look on his face. turtwig withdrew into his shell and began to spin very quickly. Skorupi was still attached to Turtwigs shell and was spinning around with him. Suddenly, Skorupi flew off and skidded across the ground.
"Turtwig, Bullet Seed!" Commanded Amelia. Turtwig was still spinning but was sending out bullet-like seeds in all directions. "Quick, Dodge!" Shouted Scott. Skorupi turned off his back and jumped high in the air, using his tail to propel himself. The bullets flew underneath him. "Now, poison sting again!" shouted Scott. Skorupi flew towards Turtwig, knocking him off the ground and into the air, where Turtwig came back out of his shell and landed in a bush. "Again, Skorupi!" shouted Scott. Skorupi zoomed into the Turtwig and poisoned it, eventually causing it to faint. "Excellent work, Turtwig! Return!" said Amelia with a slight hint of sadness in the tone of her voice, as a red light covvered Turtwig and sucked him back in his ball.

Gender: Girl
Appearance: Gale dresses up the same no matter what the occasion. She wears a white t-shirt, green camo pants, black slip-ons and white bands by her hands, and occasionally she'll wear a white kitty-eared cap and even more seldomly a kitty tail to match the cap. She has sapphire-blue eyes and long and straight golden blonde hair.
Personality: Gale is what you'd least expect. She is quiet and calm overall, but she is good at tactics. She is usually cold towards most people (except when she needs something from someone), but gentle towards Pokemon of all sorts. She hates trainers who force their Pokemon to fight or use them for evil. However, Gale may sometimes act a lot tougher in battles, but that would rarely happen. She likes to look up info. on other people to learn all their strategies, which also shows her knowledge of tactics.
Biography: Gale was born in the Orre Region, much after the Shadow Pokemon invasions. She lived in Phenac City all her life, and because of that developed a love for beautiful or shiny/sparkly things. She always played with her childhood friend, Colin, and usually hung around him.
One day while the two were playing, a feral Houndoom attacked them. Gale then noticed an Eevee, which she called to. The Eevee, even though also stray, decided to come to Gale. Gale commanded it to attack the Houndoom, and eventually she scared off the Houndoom somehow. Since then, the Eevee has lived with Gale, and because of how well Gale pulled off her skills as a first-time battler, Colin told her she'd be a great trainer. Gale took it to thought and decided it'd be best for both of them. She soon moved to Ecruteak City on her own to find more Pokemon of all sorts, and eventually gained a decent party.

Kit: Female Glaceon; she has been with Gale since she was about 8, and has been trained well and knows many moves, one being Trump Card. She took on her owner's personality, so she is very quiet.
Rose: Female Leafeon; she was an Eevee found by Gale while walking through Pyrite Town one day. Rose is a bit shy around Pokemon or people she doesn't know, but has loads of battling experience and proves to be a decent foe.
Kaen: Female Vulpix; Given to Gale by her childhood friend Colin. Kaen was given to her more recently, so she doesn't have much experience. She likes to show herself off, seeing how she's a beautiful Vulpix and all, and can be a bit bratty.
Blithe: Male Growlithe; Also given to Gale by Colin. Blithe is friends with Kaen, and also doesn't have much experience. He is more short-tempered but cool, though.
Reanna: Female Larvitar; Was an egg given to Gale by some strange dude, so Reanna's still a baby. She knows powerful egg moves, but doesn't like to battle. She prefers watching battles instead.
Other: Gale loves to sing, and is quite good at it. She usually sings to calm her, others, and even Pokemon.

-Level 2: The Black Forest-
Shadows shrouded the startling peaceful land. In the distance, Gale heard the wind, softly making the trees sway back and forth. She turned around. The empty room with the turrets had suddenly vanished. Gale was still alone. She lay down on all fours, and began to ponder why she decided to join.
"I bet, if any other players are around, that they are looking for siblings. Or perhaps they wish to be proven as the best. Or maybe they have some other reason. But why did I join?" She closed her eyes, opening her ears to the scarce sounds around her. The whisper of the wind, the swaying of the trees, and...a flute? Gale listened closely to the flute. It was playing what seemed to be a haunting melody. Gale began weeping softly. The melody reminded her of when she alone in the real world. She stood up and tried to shake the tears off, as if wishing to...forget. Forget what had happened...
Curious about the source of the melody, Gale calmly walked in the direction, opening her ears to the continuous haunting sound. It got louder and louder as she advanced, until finally, she stopped in front of a large tree. It seemed to show its age, and also looked like the tallest tree in the entire forest. The flute, however, was still mysteriously playing. Gale swerved around, trying to see if the sound was coming in the opposite direction. But there was no doubt about it. The source was coming from that old tree. Nervously, Gale called out, "Who's there? Who's playing?" Nothing. The flute continued to play. Gale was beginning to get frightened.
"I'm not kidding! Whoever's there, come on out! You don't scare me!" The flute continued playing. By that time, Gale's entire body was shaking. She felt as if a ghost were about to come out and scare her. She looked up, hoping to find the source. Nobody. Nothing except...berries? Hanging high up in the tree were some berries. Hungry from all the wandering she had done, Gale rammed into the tree with all her might, hoping the berries would drop to the ground for her to eat. The flute still played the legato tune, not even getting messed up as Gale continuously rammed into the tree. After a few more attempts, berries fell from the tree. Gale quietly ate one, and noticed the flute was starting to become quieter and quieter. Quieter and quieter...

Name: Gwendolyn Aeru (she insists that people call her Gwendolyn)

Gender: Female
Appearance: She will never wear dresses, ever. Or so she swears. Gwendolyn ties a large plain brown square scarf on her head in a way that hides her hair, making her look like a young boy. Without the scarf, her black hair touches the middle of her neck. A police whistle hung from her neck. She wears dark blue sneakers most of the time. Gwendolyn has dull green eyes. She is about 124 centimetres tall, and yes, short for her age. Gwendolyn wears a green, collared, short sleeve shirt with a glittering star at the bottom right corner. Her brown cargo trousers touch her ankles.
If it is a cold day, Gwendolyn has a black scarf tied around her neck. She also wears a red jacket on top of her usual attire.
Gwendolyn does not like to go to formal occasions. It really isn't surprising, considering her hatred of humans. If forced to attend, she will wear what she wore when she received the invitation. That's only when she is in a good mood. In a bad mood, she will wear very old and plain clothes.
Personality: Gwendolyn has quite a lot, if not some, knowledge about almost everything under the sun, from first aid to physics and chemical reactions to the paranormal. What she never bothers to find out is the history of humans. However, she is very selfish with her knowledge, if you are not her friend. Gwendolyn has a very weird way of thinking. Imagine this scenario: a trainer and his Pokémon had a 5 metre fall from a cliff. Both lay injured, in need of help. She will help the Pokémon first, then the grass or ground beneath the two, then finally the trainer. You see, her priorities are placed on (in order of decreasing importance) friends, plants and Pokémon, then lastly, humans, no matter who really needs attention first. Gwendolyn is very careful, usually calculating and predicting her way in battle. It's one of the reasons why she carries a pocket scientific calculator. She actually couldn't care less about battling. The only reasons Gwendolyn fights seriously are a) her beloved Pokémon want to win a match badly, or b) her life (or anything equally important) is threatened. She can laugh at almost any corny joke, but she cannot make a good one.
Biography: Gwendolyn was born in Celadon City. She loves to read non-fictions very much. She just couldn't help opening any book she sees and read the index and page of contents. Gwendolyn enjoys solving mathematical problems because it's "challenging and fun". Her rich family can afford to buy books for her. Being born into a society who looked down at reading, Gwendolyn knows very well she's strange to others. Gwendolyn grew up being called all sorts of names ranging from booky (because she loved books) to weirdo and all the way back, but she doesn't feel the blame is on her. Her name is usually used by only what she calls self-respecting people. All that name-calling had made her cold towards humans. The reason Gwendolyn helps other humans is "just doing the right thing. I am not going to sink to their so-called humane levels".
She caught her first Pokémon on a fishing trip in Johto. Gwendolyn was so excited about owning a Pokémon, she spent time reading scientific books to her Remoraid. Many people thought she was crazy, but Gwendolyn couldn't care less. She knew that she can use science to her advantage at battles. Gwendolyn reckoned that if Remoraid could learn something about chemical reactions and physics, maybe the fish could pull off some of the tactics by herself when the trainer gives a tiny hint about which to use. Gwendolyn was right. Remoraid could, and she did it very well. Gwendolyn had ever since passed down scientific information to her Pokémon. She was convinced that Pokémon can learn what a human can, if given a chance, and perhaps faster too. Gwendolyn wanted to prove her theory to the world, so she set on becoming a Pokémon trainer.
Pokemon: By some coincidence, all four Pokémon have green eyes like their trainer. Gwendolyn has a strange habit to teach her Pokémon useless things during her free time. She also insisted they should learn it seriously.
Male Monferno: Gwendolyn's second Pokémon after Octillery. Gwendolyn received him as a Chimchar from her parents. Besides battling, Monferno entertains himself by juggling. Monferno is very loyal and doesn't mind putting his life on the line for his trainer. Monferno can use U-turn, Swrods Dance, Brick Break and Flare Blitz. Monferno is currently learning how to tie knots.
Male Intimidate Luxio: A very active Luxio who cannot sit still at all. He hatched from an Egg which is given to Gwendolyn at the start of her journey. Luxio is her third Pokémon. He loves a good challenge and refuses to fight anyone who cannot fight back, or those he deemed too weak. Therefore, Gwendolyn often chooses him as a last resort. Luxio knows Crunch, Spark, Ice Fang and Fire Fang. Gwendolyn taught Luxio how to call for help in morse code should there be any emergency: three short flashes followed by three long flashes, then another three short flashes (···---··· is the international distress signal SOS, and it runs continuosly without spacing). He couldn't be bothered to learn the rest of the code, though.
Female Sniper Octillery: Caught as a Remoraid, she is as curious and smart as octopi in our world. Although she is (what Gwendolyn calls a Pokémon who is skilled at shooting attacks) a cannon master, she had never use a move that involves direct contact with the opponent before. She possesses moves like Ice Beam, Gunk Shot and Flamethrower. Octillery knows the Braille alphabet by heart.
Female Magic Guard Clefairy: A prankster before being caught, she is cunning and sometimes disobeys Gwendolyn. She joined the team after Gwendolyn outsmarted her twice. She is the least experienced among the four. She has Grass Knot, Thunderbolt and Softboiled under her belt. She has an amazing ability to learn many moves, and doesn't mind trying new strategies.
Other: Gwendolyn has a Moonstone. She may reward Clefairy for good behaviour someday. Gwendolyn has a fear of heights, and has never flown before by a Pokémon.
RP Sample: Aerodactyl chased the Pidgeot instinctively. His trainer clung on tightly to the long neck for dear life. She had to remind herself that this Aerodactyl here was once the co leader of his flock. He was probably more used to order than to obey, so no amount of yelling will help. Taming a Pokémon so wild won't be easy, but if she can manage to do so, his massive power will be a great help to her team.
The Pidgeot flew as fast as it could to escape the ferocious beast. The girl felt her Aerodactyl accelerate with incomparable speed which had been perfected by countless generations since prehistoric times. She called upon her Ariados to use Constrict on Aerodactyl. The arachnid quickly covered Aerodactyl's body with spider silk in an attempt to stop it or at least slow it down. "Okay, now spin as much thread as you can from here to any tree."
Ariados shot spider thread from the rear at a tree repeatedly. It seemed to work. Aerodactyl was slowing down. The girl sighed with relief. But just as she thought Aerodactyl couldn't have gone any faster, SNAP! He did, wasting Ariados's efforts by destroying the threads. The Pidgeot was getting more and more tired and flew slower. There's no time to get another Pokémon out for help. She looked at Ariados. The arachnid had something between the mandibles. It's a snack made specially for Pokémon which she had given to Ariados as a reward, but the spider had not ate it yet. The girl hurriedly grabbed it and shoved the snack into Aerodactyl's mouth.
Aerodactyl paused in surprise, distracted by his first wonderful taste of man made food his "trainer" just gave him a try of. The girl climbed to his back and started stroking the smooth and hard skin that gave the Aerodactyl a more aerodynamic body. Maybe she wasn't so bad after all. Maybe he would listen.

The fact that the scientists would have such a thing built was confusing to him. He had always assumed they didn't care for their well-being, as long as they were alive and healthy (and ready for any tests) they were perfectly content to let them live the way they did. But the construction of what was essentially a playground meant that they really cared. That is, if the playground was exactly what it appeared to be. Kite couldn't rule out the possibility of some darker, more sinister purpose to the courtyard. Maybe it was just to help them investigate hybrids in a more natural habitat, in which case it was a completely scientific construction. Or maybe it was to help placate the hybrids and make them less wanting to break out. If they already had their own mini-world, then maybe they wouldn't want the real thing.
Kite debated endlessly with himself about the true nature of the scientists running the project. But he got nowhere, instead just exploring a list of interesting possibilities, but there was no way to know which one was true. He crossed his arms across his chest, the chains clinking against each other. He was taking the leftover chains in his room and trying to forge a kind of three-fingered claw out of them, to attach to the ends of the one he used as weapons. It was hard work; changing the shape of metal was the hardest thing he could do with his magnetic powers. But it might pay off greatly. Even though rumor had it Rowan and Spencer had been remerged with harmless Pokemon due to concerns about their bullying, his gang was still wandering the halls. Even though Kite reckoned he could take them on individually, it wouldn't hurt to have some extra help. He also wondered if he should go and give Rowan some payback, but that idea never got too far. He hadn't seen Rowan since the fight, and although everyone was saying the rumor, he didn't know if it was true or not. Same with the rumor of what was going on in the basement. Remerging hybrids. Strange though. Were the scientists just testing out some newfound power, or were they running out of orphans to kidnap? Kite had heard about half a dozen versions of the same story, some saying that these remerged people were going to be released into the outside world, others saying that they were killed. Most versions just put them as being released back into the complex, although there was supposedly a lot of torture and pain involved. Kite doubted the scientists would torture hybrids for the sake or torturing them, but maybe it was to measure their physical and mental endurance as opposed to humans?
He decided to head to the medical wing to see if Ashley or Maverick were all better yet. There was a third rumor, of Serena, an Altaria hybrid, having escaped the facility. Kite did no know Serena well, she was a bouncy, floaty kind of person, anathema to Kite's own preferences. It was true she had mysteriously vanished. But had she escaped? Kite doubted it. If she had, there was sure to be some kind of retribution from the scientists, and there had been no signs of that. Yes, it was all such a peculiar business.
He walked into the medical wing. There was no sign of Ashley or Maverick, and the only concious person in the room besides himself and some non-hybrids was a girl with a Glaceon-esque tail and a hat looking like the head of a Glaceon. Why anyone would try and look more like a Pokemon was beyond him, but maybe she just liked how Glaceon looked. They were quite beautiful creatures.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE???"
Kite glanced around. There was a Loudred hybrid shouting at him.
"YEAH, YOU!!!" the hybrid stalked over.
"Shut up," Kite growled at the Loudred hybrid.
"WHAT? SPEAK UP!!!" The blast of sound made Kite's ears ring, but he made no motion to reveal so.
"I said, SHUT UP!" he yelled at the hybrid, his eyes glaring and his mouth a fierce frown.
The hybrid glared at Kite for a few seconds, then stomped off to annoy some other people.
Kite shook his head and walked further into the building, the chains wrapped around his limbs clinking as he did so. People like that he just wanted to pick up and shake until they figured out what they were doing wrong.

Eh heh XD I understand. I'm in a load of RPs (which is no excuse; it's quite fun being in plenty and getting to know the people in them ^^), plus I'm writing two fanfictions for fanfiction.net right now (I just got a good review on my recent idea :D), so...

Obviously, she doesn't have the ears or tail. That would be weird. Personality: Harper is one of those hyper, energetic girls from the city, the kind that doesn't take anything very seriously, and loves the fast-paced action of L.A. and the Big Apple (if they existed in PokeWorld...). She doesn't slow down for a second and often this gets her into trouble. Being an activist, she will do anything needed to get the two legendary Pokemon back to their rightful places, and she won't stop at anything to get there.
Harper doesn't let many people know about her past, however, and likes to live in the present, where the only problems she has to face are the ones happening right now. She often acts as the cheerleader of the group and isn't exactly clued in to social cues. Biography: Uh...not much. Harper was born in Blackthorn City, and she loves how cold it is there, making her somewhat uncomfortable in hotter cities like Cinnabar and Mahogany (right...?) and, uhm...the rest.
She had a pretty normal childhood, kinda like 'omg, i gunna be a trainer 1 day!!!1!!1!' thing, and she trained in the Dragon's Den, giving her a love of Dragon Pokemon and role model of Clair (remember her...? Blackthorn City gym leader, hell yeah! Favoritest ever.). She had to journey all the way to New Bark Town to get a Pokemon, but once she did, she was fine. Going down to New Bark Town was kinda long, but she had her friend Aaron at her side (guess who...yeah, so un-original) and they were okay...since he had Pokemon and all.
Harper's goal now is to help the legendary Pokemon. Before she knew about that, it was basically 'get ooooober-strong pkmn n beet elite 16, oh yeh' but now she's not so sure. She thinks she might want to be a shiny hunter or a Pokemon researcher. She's still thinking. Pokemon: Quilava lv. 28 Obtained by: Starter Pokemon Experience Level: Better-than-Average Gender: male Nickname: Marashi Personality: Marashi is a sweet-natured, lovable Pokemon, kinda like a dog, to Harper. They're very in tune and sometimes Marashi knows what Harper would like him to use before she tells him to use it. This is why Marashi is often Harper's first-choice battler. He absolutely adores her and is nice to nearly everyone he meets.
Wobbuffet lv. 23 Obtained by: Trade for a Pidgeotto Experience Level: Average Gender: male Nickname: Sonansu Personality: Sonansu is your average Wobbuffet - not the sharpest tack in the drawer. However, Harper loves him just as he is and tries to double-battle with him a lot to get his experience up. She doesn't like using Counter and such, so it's hard, but Sonansu tries his best and his best often happens to be pretty good. So it's kewl.
Larvitar lv. 21 Obtained by: Wild-Catch Experience Level: Slightly-Better-than-Average Gender: male Nickname: Rasu Personality: Rasu is as hyper as Harper herself, and often copies her gestures, her jumping-up-in-the-air-randomly's, and other stuff like that. He secretly wishes to be Marashi so that he'll get used as much as him, but he doesn't know that Harper loves him just as much. It's impossible to hate Rasu.

Okay, here's my character:
Name: Cadence Altilago Age: 15 Gender: Female Appearance: Cadence could be considered fairly tall, standing at 5'5, with a slim build. She has straight, black-brown hair reaching down to her mid back with one thick streak of copper in it, which she normally wears down, though when she needs it out of her way, she ties it up in a ponytail, and her eyes are grey-green, she couldn't be considered beautiful, but there is definitely something almost otherworldly about her. Cadence normally wears tan camo shorts, which reach to just above her knees, and a black tank top underneath a gray zip-up hoodie. When the weather becomes warmer, she removes the hoodie and ties it around her waist, so that its accessible and so that she doesn't have to lug around something to carry it in. In colder weather, she wears a heavier jacket instead of the hoodie, which she may wear under the jacket if the weather calls for it, and replaces the tank top with a long sleeved shirt, and the shorts with gray, lived in jeans. On more formal occasions, Cadence wears a sleek, sleeveless, blue-gray dress which falls to her knees, and silver sandals with a very low heel, due to that fact that she would tip over otherwise.
Personality: Cadence is a quiet, solitary girl who usually likes to do things on her own, without help or assistance from others. She also can be somewhat withdrawn, never giving out much information, even if she doesn't really have that much of a reason keep to herself so much. However, she makes up for that with her brains, Cadence is extremely intelligent, and much of her battle skills revolve around using good strategy rather than brute strength and powerful attacks. For example, instead of pelting opponents with powerful, but easily dodged attacks, she uses less powerful attacks in various combinations in a way so that the opponent is unable to dodge, or has a smaller chance of dodging. Even if she's smart, usually people don't see it, its not like she acts stupid or anything, but she doesn't reveal her intelligence, and her reasons for that are...well, there really isn't any, its just her. Most times, Cadence is pretty calm, not really getting excited about trivial things, and not scared often either. She also rarely gets angry, though when she does, it's not a good idea to hang around, better if you leave and wait until she cools down somewhat.
Biography: As a child Cadence's life wasn't very much out of the ordinary, in fact, it was rather unremarkable. Though she was an only child, her parents didn't have much time to spend with her, they both worked for the Devon Corporation and were currently assigned to the daunting and tedious task of updating the PokeNav and Pokedex with the latest information about Pokemon, which undoubtedly took up much of their time. As a result, Cadence mainly took care of herself, a neighbor stayed with her during the day when she was younger, though as she grew older her time was spent skateboarding or playing basketball with her friends, or maybe doing schoolwork (not for fun, obviously.) The ironic thing is, back then, she didn't really think much for Pokemon, now, she doesn't think she could live without them. She knew they existed, but didn't really care for them until she was ten, when she rescued a stray Mareep from a gang of bullies, who were teasing it, poking it with sticks and tossing stones at it. That particular Mareep is what eventually influenced her to become a Pokemon Trainer, by then, they were already an inseparable twosome, and started their journey together. She is currently in Alto Mare to watch the Pokemon race through the canals.
Pokemon:
Ampharos/Female/Blixt- Very experienced Ampharos who is Cadence's strongest and most faithful Pokemon and friend. Blixt was rescued from bullies by Cadence, and since then they have become more or less inseparable. Her name comes from the Swedish word for lightning (No, I am not Swedish, nor to I know any other Swedish words.) Typhlosion/Male/Aragon- Experienced Typhlosion who was Cadence's second Pokemon. Aragon was captured in the forest, oddly enough, and is one of the most serious battlers on Cadence's team. Aragon's name comes from the first half of the stone Aragonite. Buizel/Male/Ray- Is somewhat weaker than the other Pokemon on Cadence's team, but its speed outstrips most Pokemon. The most spirited fighter on Cadence's team, he is a good sport, but not extremely friendly. His only true loyalty is to her trainer, Cadence, in this case, and was caught after having been released by his trainer due to his less than average strength. Togetic/Female/Grace- Grace fits her name, being a graceful Pokemon. She is extremely friendly and what some might call "pure of heart." Though she, like any other Pokemon, enjoys to win, she has never been known to show bitterness after a loss. She is an above average battler, and fights exceptionally well in the air, though on the ground she is rather less coordinated. She has yet to evolve because Cadence hasn't found a Shiny Stone yet.
