I agre with yah there. I mean L looks like he is dead half the time, but look at him.
 
I think that's what makes him unique =D
 
That's another quality about him. Light sort of goes-with-the-flow and L is way more unique.
 
Light reminds me of the typical next door neighbor until he finds 'Death Note'. Then it seems like is in way over his head. O__o
 
Light is very serene, so it didn't look like it was over his head to me. Afterall, he gets along with people well, and Shinigami. The only time I had doubts about his ability is when he lost his cool because of L, which has been happening less lately, I guess. :P

His lifestyle's pretty normal or even nerdy [but popular too], but he did score number 1 in Japan, so that makes him a bit special.
 
dudes, DUDES! DeathNote is tied for the best manga ever.(with Rorouni Kenshin) I've never seen the anime or movie yet. And i've only read up to number 8 but that's because i gotta wait for issues to come out in U.S. (can someone tell me what issue it's up to in u.s.?)

The signature's on the small side, but I guess it's cool.
 
ya i know the sig is small but when i put it on the HD i was using had only paint for graphic programs and paint has no anti-aliasing

Ya lol. I've seen the picture as a wall paper ont the Deathgod website. What stinks is that the max hight you are allowed to have is 100 pixels. because of that if i make it max size they let u have then it's 5times as long as it is high.
Anyway this thread ain't for this so back on topic:

Ryuk is funny. I like his reactions and stuff in the first movie...
 
Ya but like I said I didn't get a chance to see the movie. I just like how he is just amused by everything that goes on. It's great.
 
Yeah. I like his personality, and how he's intrigued by everything.
 
ya. the author(whose name escapes me anyone wanna help me out with this one?) is a genious. he comes up with the most random things to move the plot along. like the fact that the Shinigami have to eat apples or they twist up. It's random but it works.

I like the artwork in the manga as well... Very nicely drawn.
 
Ya i agree. Thats why i put it in my avatar. My fav pic from DN is the one when light freaks out after him and L play tennis. I use it for my MSN avatar. Know which one im talkin about?

I'm talkin about after the match and Light puts his hands on his head and grits his teeth and his eyes become buggy and he says somthing like"Ahhh, I can't believe I let him get me like that!"
