Well, you've most certainely improved since you've started; there's no question about that.

However you still have a lot of work to do. The text isn't AAAA-mazing, but it's not bad. The only real crit I have is the brushing. Brushing over your image is a must in most styles. It pulls everything together.

WEll to start off...the back grounds are used with brushes...you can find brush sets from deviantART just search on google either GIMP or photoshop brushes deviant art and you'll get them..as for the text you can find a whole range of fonts from dafont . com ...i fyou want to know more check out the free artists resources thread...^^~
