hmm, i have ruby and sapphire but is it worth it to buy emerald? I saved money for the cartrige so do you think its worth it?

If I was you, I would buy it. Especially since it has the Battle Frontier. However, I have to agree with Rat Salad.

I wouldn't you already have Ruby and Sapphire, so unless you really want to play in the Battle Frontier you should buy something else.

yeah i agree Rat Salad. its enitely up to you. i suggest not. they only new features on emerald are that you can get both kyogre & groudon, the battle frontier & a speed deoxys & mew. you can also choose which of latios or latias you want. but appart from that its no different from R/S. buy D/P if you havent already got it.

D/P Are a much better buy than Emerald, I would only reccomend Emerald if you don't Have Sapphire/Ruby or REALLY want the battle frontier (Its annoying, trust me.)

To be honest, like it already has been said, it's really up to you.

Already owning Ruby and Sapphire should be enough from my POV as Emerald is pretty much a slight extension to R/S. If you have a DS, I'd suggest getting D/P instead of Emerald, as you'll find Emerald similar to R/S. There are only a few changes and I don't think it'd reallty be worth it to get it unless you really feel the need to. Maybe rent it out to you know, get a taste of it, but there's no real need to have all three.

You really don't need it at all.
Emerald gets boring veeery easily, I finished it and theres no real difference, except that you can catch all legendaries. But you have Ruby and Saphire, so you can anyway. I only use it for storage and keeping my pokemon from other games.

I would say that if you are looking to collect all of the pokemon, that would be the only reason to buy it.

If i were you id get an emulator and a rom of emerald and try it out to see if you like it and if you do then buy it and the only differences are that you can get more legendaries the pokes are animated as u enter battle and of course battle frontier but i also agree with rat salad its up to you to decide if you should buy it or not

Yes, I agree with this Rat Salad guy. But there are different features in the game as well, besides the Frontier and the legends. I suggest getting it if you want to try three different teams for each version.
