Destiny Calls

OOC: The era now is before all modern inventions are... invented, right? Maybe we can save some ancient civilisations and set them on the track to modernisation XD.
--------------------
There was a growl some distance away.
It could have been that girl, or it could be a dangerous wild Pokemon... Nic guessed the latter.
Keeping a safe distance, he climbed a tree and looked down. There was a large dog (ARGH!? Why can't it be a Houndour? XD), and there was that girl. It didn't look too happy with her.
Nic knew it was none of his buisness, but it could be dangerous... he was also in the vicinity, and if it smelled him, he would be in trouble too. The bird was still on his shoulders as the dog prepared to attack.
At the worse possible moment, it cheeped loudly.
"Skar..."
The dog turned around, and stared at Nic. Hopefully, it wouldn't be able to climb a tree. He called out to the girl.
-Hey! You! Climb up that tree!
------
OOC: GVG, could you kindly come along and chase off that cute little doggy...?

The Miltoc shook its Magnificent head. "If only I knew if you were male or female," I thought, "If only..." I suddenly heard a growl. "WH...what was that?" I said. The Miltoc lowered its head in anger mixed with fear. Though I was usually brave, this was a new world, I've never been here before. I began to run, Miltoc slithering behind me. I trip, landing on my face. I spit out the soil and get up, seeing something shine by by foot. I rub my head. "What's this?" I say, picking it up. It was a flute carved out of a shell...

I Heard the growl again. "I'm coming!" I yell, putting the flute in my pocket and getting up. I wince as I feel a bruise. I aproach the scene. Seeing a dog-like creature, I could only gasp in amazment. "Its...a Houndoom," I mutter. I move back, feeling Flail's wet, scaley skin behind me. It was a water Pokemon while a Houndoom was a dark...and fire...

I was staring into the sky when there was a sudden growl. I ran that way and ran into a Miloctic. I looked to the side and saw a massive Houndoom ready for a fight. "Holy crap!" I said. "Bulbasaur won't do any good here. Mabye if I can get this girl and her Miloctic to water gun it or something by making it chase me?" I thought about this idea. "But what if it get Bulbasaur? Then I'd be in big trouble."

Yadori starts to perspire as the Houndoom draws closer....its mouth dripping salive all over the ground. Yadori is assured that she is dinner to this Pokemon..

She doesn't give up yet, however. She hears another rumble in the bushes, and all of the sudden, a girl and a bulbasaur emerge! Looking upwards to the sky, she sees a familiar face waving at her frantically in the trees....what was he trying to say?

She thought and thought....how could she distract the Houndoom, so she can climb the tree? Maybe; just maybe they could combine both Slowpoke and Bulbasaur's attacks into one; like a grass/psychic blast!
She notices that Nic has a little baby Skarmory sitting on the same branch as him...maybe the grass/psychic blast could be a little more powerful with our friend Skarmory!

She signals the bulbasaur trainer ,and Nic, to use an attack as soon as possible...and tries to edge her way to the tree where Nic resides.

Nic was lying lengthwise along the trunk. He lowered the Skarmory with his hands.
-I saw some psychic attack used earlier. Could this bird be used as a projectile? The beak seems to be sharp enough to cut through flesh.
The bird seemed to understand what was happening. It glared at the large, black dog.

The human was slowly walking towards a forest with Larvitar following him. The warm afternoon breeze was fondling his face. The last sunlight for the day was gradually fading. The sky was a fantastic blue colour which stood as if underlined by the fading sunrays. Although the human was not in a very bright mood he could not resist to point out the beauty of this world.
"Do you see the world around you Larvitar? It's so magnificent, the sky," he said smiling. The pokemon felt the mood of his master and happily squeaked in agreement.
"Well," thought the human, "there isn't any other world that you know of" he pointed out to himself bitterly.
As the sounds of nature were growing more and more quiet, the forest was approaching and with it came the cold shadow of the oldest trees the human had ever seen. The forest was old, very old. By the look of the face of the pokemon, the human could tell that there were other pokemon inside. He hesitated for a moment and then stepped under the shadow.
A sudden cry of help startled him; he almost tripped over from surprise and bewilderment. Not knowing what to do he recovered from the stress and carefully started walking in the direction of the voice.
He walked for some time and when he did not hear another cry, he started running urging Larvitar to follow. The pokemon, however, seemed not to need an urge. It was moving confidently and this time the human followed. He sincerely hoped that this wouldn't be some kind of trap and he let the pokemon lead the way.
The ground was soft and wet, not suitable for running at all but the Larvitar seemed to know it's way around perfectly, following it's basic instincts.
Suddenly a spot of emerged from nowhere just behind the gigantic trees. After seeing the light behind the thick fence of trees the human accelerated and jumped in the open space just to discover a startling situation.
Seeing the meadow that revealed itself from behind the trees was a not what startled him. The things that mattered in this case were the events going on. A quick glance brought everything to light.
A girl and a creature were standing almost in the middle of the meadow. Towards them was advancing a black dog with red fiery stripes on the back and evil look in its eyes. Two horns on the head of the horrible dog made it look as if it had come straight from a nightmare. The black dog growled and advanced slowly towards the girl and the slowpoke. The girl was in a tough situation. She badly needed help.
Every movement of the beast implied confidence and power. It knew that it's next victim would be lying on the grass in a short time.
The human stared unbelieving in the picture in front of him. It was not possible for the girl to escape anywhere and he knew that perfectly well.
His heart was pumping fast and he started sweating not knowing what to do.
In the same moment from the other edge of the forest appeared a figure of another girl followed by yet another creature.
Right beside the girl rushed a boy with his own pokemon. The human immediately recognized a Milotic and a Bulbasaur.
At the other end of the meadow a tree started shaking violently and he thought that there is probably another trainer coming to help.
Seeing all that happening as if the time had slowed down during the events, the human calmed down a little. He knew that now they were going to give the dog a hard time.
Finally deciding that it's time to do something, he shouted at the girl to climb the closest tree. In the same time, not even hearing what the human was yelling, the girl tried to edge past the Houndoom. It growled loud and sharp, making a step in her direction, but in the same time the human saw that it was attracted by the yell. The Milotic of the other girl slithered fast next to the potential victim, and took defensive position.
Hesitating, the dog turned its glare first upon the girl, then towards the Milotic, and last it stared at the human.
Those eyes ... they penetrated even the very soul of the creature, they ate every emotion they found... and they particularly liked fear...
Only one wild pokemon could radiate so much hatred from its glare - a Houndoom.
"Beware," the human warned them with weak voice," because if you're burned by the flames of a Houndoom, the pain would never go away."
All of a sudden, behind the human, a sharp screech echoed throughout the meadow, making the birds fly in panic from the trees. The Larvitar, who until now had been standing in the shadow of the forest, made a little step forward and lowered it's head towards the Houndoom. It looked up towards the human, and stared him with eyes wanting permission. It was planning to attack.

I watched the girl and the miltoc absol and murcrow talked.....

OOC: That's off the RPG topic by the way, so I wanted to ask if you actually know where we are going. I reckon that might be something connected with Deoxys (At least 1 legendary pokemon in an RPG is good because it makes things more interesting. If, however, there appear a lot of Legendaries, then it becomes a little bit confusing). As the title suggests, Destiny calls might be something closely related to our well known Visitor of the Space Fissure, or Destiny Deoxys or whatever you might want to call it. It is a psychic pokemon, as you all know I suppose, and it could be the reason for our characters being sent to that world. Do you think it's a good idea? It could well be developed into something really nice and end up as a great story. By the way I'm being descriptive and detailed as you've all noticed just because I like the reader to imagine what it's all about. If you don't like my style or if you think it's better for us to write one-two sentence posts just for the purpose of the RPG, I might as well listen to what you say, and stop writing descriptively. I will wait for your answer and I will post again tomorrow.

OOC: Your style is fine ^^ I used to work like that, but I'm just too busy these days.
Many of us just don't have enough... effort to write so much. I'm thinking of something along the lines of saving humanity, but we should take a vote ^^
----
Nic slung down from the tree.
More people had arrived. As a group, it would be easier to defeat the enemy. The dog was the enemy. So, it was time for it to go down.
He had noticed the sharp feathers of the metallic bird. It was now hovering in front of him. A competitive spirit. He liked that.
-Go.
The bird took off, staying well above the opponent, while a few stray feathers, arranged on the underside of the wing, fell off. Many surrounded the dog (think spikes ^^), but the few that hit it annoyed it greatly.
It growled.

-Someone, attack it while it is distracted. Anyone, please.

O___~;;;; Incase you haven't noticed, I DESPISE Deoxys; and wouldn't want anything to do with it xD Maybe another legendary...anything...but...Deoxys (shudders) Otherwise it is a really really good idea!

OOC: how bout mewtwo? or ummmm.... raquasa!

OOC: Psychic_Kimmi, by the way it is not obligatory to include Deoxys as a good character. If you already see what I mean, we should include it as a bad character and try to stop it from trapping more people and spinning reality around with its psychic powers. No offence for mentioning it and I really did not want to make you feel bad or anything so I am sorry for my current post as it also contains Deoxys. It should be possibe to stop it with combined efforts and so on and so forth... but as Composer already proposed, it would be best to vote. I also wanted to thank you for finding the idea suitable for the plot.
IC: The human was startled to find out that the young Larvitar had an impressive courage and confidence. It looked towards the Houndoom ready to attack. Meanwhile, the tree which seemed to be the current base of a trainer started shaking wildly as if it was about to break. It bend down fast and then stood up even faster releasing a shining bird, which shot itself towards the black dog. It flew past it discharging a cloud of tiny sharp objects that quickly covered the area around the dog and formed a black spot. That black spot separated the girl from the dog and while the hellish creature was realizing what happened it unwillingly made a step backwards which resulted in a growl of pain.
The human was amazed. That was the very first battle he had been involved in and it almost looked like they were going to win. The trainer from the tree seemed to know what he was doing. Although the attack had not succeeded in terms of chasing off the dog, it certainly made it feel less confident. It already knew that it had to fight for its lunch.
The attack of the bird had created an effect of distraction but it had also unexpectedly frightened the dog making it feeling pain and anger at the same time. That was the moment when a beast like it would be most dangerous. It would either ignore everything and charge in a blind attempt to catch its pray or it would fight until it realizes that there is no way of hunting down the victim. It was definitely not going to give up and go away. The grimace of pain and anger flashed on the pitch black face which was contrasting the yellowish-white colour of its long incisors.
The human was observing everything as if was all happening in a dream. He tried to yell at the dog once more but nothing came out of his throat except a tiny, low pitched shriek. The Larvitar was still in a position ready to attack and was watching the human desperately wanting permission.
The human turned its gaze upon Larvitar perfectly understanding what the pokemon's intentions were. He did not want to see the pokemon hurt but he somehow knew that Larvitar could take care of itself in that situation.
The human sat down slowly, crossed his feet and sank into his own mind, seeking a connection with the mind of the Pokemon. Something was telling him that once the connection was established, nothing more could be wanted from a pokemon and a trainer. Reaching that stage they were already One whole being. Wandering across the labyrinth of thoughts and emotions deep within his consciousness where time did not exist, the human saw a blurred figure that looked like the Larvitar. He sensed its passions, and imagined the attack.
Sudden wind shook the trees throwing dust in everybody's eyes. At first it looked just as if it was a movement of the air, but with each passing second its internsity was growing. Leaves started flying in all directions blinding everyone, and making the pokemon close their eyes. The sandstorm quickly became so vicious that branches were falling and crashing in other trees.
The black dog, startled by the sudden wind, shot a leer towards larvitar, and jumped outside the spike-covered area. It bend down like a sprinter ready to start running just waiting for the gun shot and sprang forward with great speed, approaching Larvitar lightning fast.
The human concentrated not feeling the sandstormat all. He only felt the emotions in his imaginary world, now sensing the evil approach of the Houndoom.
The Larvitar suddenly shifted, leaving a corridor between itself and the human. The forest started a few metres behind them, and that allowed a quick retreat if it was needed. However, that was not the purpose of the shift. The Houndoom was still sprinting but was looking puzzled by the quick shift and found it too hard to take a turn in the sandstorm which was blowing it against the forest. Seeing the trees coming towards it unexpectedly fast, the creature tried to reposition its body so that it won't hit the trees. But it couldn't. The sandstorm, the spikes, and the good timed movement of the Larvitar ended in the Houndoom smashing hard against the trees. Wailing in pain, it retreated fast in the shadows of the forest.
The human opened his eyes and looked at the others.
OOC: I'm sorry to be the one who solves the problem, but it already continued for a long time, so I decided to end it. By the way one of you must remember my name, so if I ask, just think of a good name and post it. 10x

OOC: Ahh yes... but why would any Pokemon want to throw humans into another world? That makes no sense ^^
Unless it's some big conspiracy. *gulp*
-------------
Nic watched. The sudden sandstorm had driven off the predator.

Now that the danger was gone, his mind came back to mundane things. Food. Water. And most importantly, a toilet.

Nic walked up to the newcomer.

-What's your name? You did well just now. I look forward to working with you until we get out of this place.
