Developing a style for PC? READ THIS FIRST.

    Oh this looks great. Which program is needed to do this again?
     
    Program? If you mean graphics-wise then it's probably whatever you're best at using.. xD;; I'm going to guess that PC's themes are all made in Photoshop, though.

    Anyhoo, man that's pretty.. *__* -stares at the codes- If I had better Photoshop/color coordination skills I'd totally make a theme.

    OMG that is like so awesome, wow I'm so gonna create a style, I can use the admin cp on the forum I A-Admin (there are 3 forums I A-Admin, vb ones. xD)

    So ones it's finished do I PM you or?
     
    Hmm, this might actually put some of the Photoshop skills I have to the test As soon as I stop ignoring them....).

    Also don't forget.. PC has available a master image set for various icons and buttons as well as the vB Image development kit (raw editable .psd images) for those who do not have a vB to test/dev on.
     
    No. Only vB customers are able to download the dev kit. I also guess it's not allowed to spread it.
     
    the dev kit is available to the auth'd PC themers (or through vB member's area if you have your own vB lic), the master set of images is on the ftp
     
    There's two versions of the vBulletin 3 Graphics Developers Kit.

    1. The first version contains large, layered Photoshop .psd files from which all of the vBulletin graphics can be built. (oops, my bad, dowload link removed x_x)
    2. The second version contains small unlayered Photoshop files with alpha transparency. These files are at the same size as the graphics they are designed to build, and are used to quickly generate a new set of images with edges antialiased to your own boards' colors. (oops, my bad, dowload link removed x_x)

    Hey I was wondering, if I were allowed to create some buttons, could I just post them in here, I'm not good with making styles, all I'm good with is CSS codes and some graphics, tho I should be able to make awesome buttons, just found an awesome font tutorial.
     
    vBulletin 4 Graphics Developers Kit (zip, 4MB) now available to auth'd PC Themers

    Contains layered or alpha transparent Photoshop .psd files from which all of the vBulletin 4 graphics can be built. A guide to using the graphics can be found in this blog entry (vBulletin.com).

    Aslo available are the various how to and guide .pdf's from vBulletin's dev team.

    Although, I guess.. if it IS happening sooner or later, then I'm sure some people can make themes for it, and get it too look almost exactly like vB3. With the skills some people have with layout making, I mean. Same with coding.
