I have my Pokémon beat the elite four and I finally made it to Cynthia. However, I am facing little problems regarding battling her. I'll give you my party with what remained of them that I can use against Cynthia:

*Dialga lv.51 Caught at Spear Pillar, Mt.Coronet. Adamant Orb held.

    Rock Smash 13\15 PP
    Heal Block 15\15 PP
    Dragon Claw 9\15 PP
    Roar of Time 0\5 PP

*Staraptor lv.51 Caught at Route 202, second Pokémon I caught in the game.

    Brave Bird 12\15
    Defog 15\15 PP
    Fly 11\15 PP
    Wing Attack 29\35 PP

*Uxie lv.52. Caught at the Lake Acuity after the Dialga event.

    Psychic 7\10 PP
    Charge Beam 10\10 PP
    Extrasensory 28\30 PP
    Shadow Ball 13\15

*Empoleon lv.53. Obtained as a starter from Lake Verity. Cleanse Tag held.

    Brine 2\10 PP
    Surf 0\15 PP
    Flash Cannon 10\10 PP
    Blizzard 3\5 PP

*Mesprit and Azelf. Caught at wild and Lake Valor repectively after the Dialga event.

    Default lv.50 moves. Mesprit masterballed.

The battle was very harsh. Her Spiritomb is a 1-hit-KOER. Ah, and here are my items:

    Max Potion x9
    Full Heal x26
    Full Restore x7
    One Revive

    Err... Help?

Well imo problem is that ya don't have enough attacks...
So try to buy Leppa Berries or find Ethers a Elixiers if ya lose.
And ya might also try to change Azelf's and Mesprit's moveset by learning some TMs. And I don't think you'd have "free" round to use Heal Block so I'd remove that from Dialga's moveset

I actually never challenge cynthia untill lv 55-60 but w/e:

Note: You can use nasty plot 3 or more times from Azelf to knock Cynthia out cold.(If azelf has that move that is)

Spiritomb: Its actually not that bad. It can be beaten with any strong physical or special attack. Dialga may be a good choice for this one as he resists all of his moves which are: Dark Pulse, Silver Wind, Psychic, Embargo. Beware for embargo as it will not let you use items.

Lucario: I really think that you should at least have brought a fighting or ground pokemon here :P. Its not very hard as it has crappy defenses at 70 base each and can be taken down with any strong attack that it doesn't resist. I really don't know azelf and uxie's default moves so can't help concerning them. The only attack I see super effective on lucario I see is rock smash but its power is lame. Thus either go with Staraptor's flying attacks or try to smash lucario with Rock Smash.

Gastrodon: Either Staraptor or Azelf's nasty plot. Not much of a choice here as far as I can see.(He's pretty lame too. Try to strike physically as his defense is lesser than his special defense!)

Roserade: Just use staraptor against her as it can potentially OHKO this one.

Milotic:Now this is a bit of a challenge. I had difficulties even with an electric type in my roster. Is much weaker defensively than special defensively so use physical hits against her. I can't advise much on milotic as I never battled it without having a grass/electric type.

Garchomp: Just pray that empoleon doesn't get OHKOed by an earthquake from him and Garchomp goes down with an Blizzard. For backup you can also use dialga's Dragon Claw. If not taken seriously then this monster will take nice care of your pokemon.

    Hope I helped a little!

EDIT: As said by Ash you can always use good tms and as said by eccentric. reach

youcan also try after training them a little.

Lucario is also weak against grass attacks, so you should maybe get a grass pokémon.

Sorry Jordan but lucario is only weak to three types which are Ground, Fighting and Fire.

Before even entering the Pokemon League you should have your pokemon leveled up to high 50s or atleast 60.

Gross overstatement. First time I beat the league in DPP my guys were level 47, the second and third time they were level 50, and my gf who only played the game for the first time beat them at level 49 or thereabouts. So no leveling up so high is not necesary.

NatureKeeper, the reason you are struggling is because of your typing. You have two steel types and three psychic types. Your levels are fine but your moves also suck. Staraptor has all flying moves and Dialga has two Dragon moves for instance. Spread out your move and Pokemon types and things will be a lot easier.

Definitely no need to be that high, I got past Cynthia with lvls 48 - 57

I beat her already using my own strategy. The funniest part when it was a final 1 on 1 battle Uxie vs Milotic. Took a while but Uxie won.

That Lucian! If I ever see him using the bronzong again... I'LL USE MY RAPIDASH!

Umm and guys I already saved infront of Cynthia so it is too late to buy anything.

Well personally I just find it the easiest way to win.
