Umm...can I have two characters? And, if I can, I hope you wouldn't mind if I sorta (really) changed the spirit of wood, to my made-up digimon? Cause, Grumblemon doesn't really quite fit the character I have in mind. ^^; *Shot*

And, I changed my entire Digimon Line-up for Sage.

Oh, and I'll edit this post with my sign-up if it's okay.

Yes Bell ^^, you can make one more character and then we will start.

Name: Mamoru Kitade
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Description: Mamoru has neat, shoulder length hair, with long and slightly unruly bangs. Her original hair color is a bright chesnut brown, but she has dyed the lower portion of her hair a darker chocolate brown. She has blue eyes that constantly shine with her energetic tendencies. In her hair is two star shaped clips, one white and one blue. On her torso is a bright orange midriff baring sleeveless top, that dons a hood in the back. Two strings dangle from her neck bone, used to tighten or loosen her hood. Three braclets reside on her right arm, one thick, with white base and red spots and stars, while the other two are thin and plain, one red and one blue. Her left arm is covered in a variety of thick and thin silver bracelets, that jangle every time she moves. On her lower body is a pair of pale khaki cargo capri's, and white sneakers (with orange stripes).

Mamoru Kitade, minus the tattoo.

Personality: : Mamoru is extremely upbeat, and is constantly cheerful. She is easily trusting and is very patient. Kind and caring she seems like the perfect person- that is, until you meet her headstrong attitude and dead weight opinions. Though optimistic, she is very stubborn, and easily offended. She has a short temper, and will mostly react defensively to everything. Mischevious and pranking, she loves herself a good laugh, and often goes to odd extremes to play jokes on other people. Mamoru is generally extremely hyper and eccentric, and when she speaks her mind, she'll say it in the most straightforward way possible. Though she can rub off as rude and unfriendly for the first few times you meet her, she has a one-track mind, and when she finally decides on a single goal, she'll work towards it step by step until she get's there, no matter who gets in the way. Tomboyish in the sense that she doesn't mind getting down and dirty, she's rather tough when it comes to competition. Tough as in- over confident.

Backround: Mamoru grew up in a relatively normal life, living with a family that was well-off, but not filthy rich. She was rewarded for her accomplishments and berated for her mistakes, like any normal kid would. Going to school and getting straight B's, she was never the shining star in academics, and she never planned to be. Naturally more talented in sports and active fun, Mamoru could never be found lounging around the house watching TV. Even if she was watching TV, it would be any kind of sports channel, and she wouldn't be lounging, she'd be on both feet, cheering and making motions at the screen, as though it might help her team win the match. She failed to befriend any girls, not even the other less girly females she'd met, and found herself with friends that were all boys.

JBCBlank, you're aware that Bell took the last spot, but your sign-up is very lacking, personality and history to be exact, and a picture can tell everything, maybe more details anyways to wrap this all up, JBCBlank, declined, and Bell accepted, we'll start the RP now. THe first part is similar to the Frontier series, but for now just get on with the persons life and when everyone has posted once, they real Role Play will start with getting on the train and ect.

"Crimson.." Kleven started "B..b..blood" she said wavering to the center of the room, rain was falling cascading down the window pane, flowing into Kleven's room, she didn't mind, she didn't care, she just wrote, reflecting the words onto a notebook sheet, she black inked pen with minimal ink had just ran out, scowling she read it through gingerly in her mind.

Dear Mom,
I hate you alot, you abandoned us in our time of need, would you even care? Didn't you love us? Greta and Amerie don't miss you, they're just loving your husks of money that you left. Are you lost? Can you come back home? THese are the questions I ask of you, you can't reach this letter but..I want to see you again, you just ran off with a nobody, what can I say, Greta's just like you, super annoying, I said it, super a-n-n-o-y-i-n-g, Forever good bye.
Kleven

She tore the parody of paper to pieces, she would never reach this place again and Kleven new it, it was morning, almost eight to be exact, Kleven was late, and she new, no time to waste time she quickly grabbed her draw sack and ran through the door, leaving her older sister Greta behind. As she arrived, the bell rang, late again, late again she swiftly walked into her classroom, teacher mad, class amused. "Kleven Miyasaka!" she heard, "Detention for you, again!" she said, Mr. Utachi is waiting
"Hey Mr. Utachi" Kleven gloomily said placing her ivory piece of notebook alongside the cedar desk, only two were placed there, Mr Utachi sat there reciting a poem of some sorts, Kleven knew this was going to be a long day.

Mamoru took a deep breath. Sure it wasn't the usual morning air that was cold and crisp, but it was the moment between the cold and crisp air of the morning, and the hot and warm air of the...mid-morning? Well, anyway, you had to know in order to understand. School would've been in today, if the schools resident idiot, Kiyo, had found a way to make something in the chemistry lab implode, and...well, fill the school with dangerous fumes. So, what luck, it was a Friday! A free three day weekend, maybe longer. Kicking up her soccer ball and catching it in the crook of her arm, Mamoru looked over at Hagiri, who was patiently waiting for Mamoru to recover from her bout of sudden spacey-ness. Pulling at his goalie gloves, Hagiri was Mamoru's long-time best friend.

While he was distracted with his faulty gloves, Mamoru kicked the ball into the goal, as it zoomed right past him. If there was one thing faulty about Hagiri it was that he was a party pooper. He didn't even notice the ball fly past him, or, at least, he didn't make any notion that he had. Ignoring the obvious goal, he continued to silently fiddle with his gloves, Mamoru sighed, rolling her eyes and marching over to Hagiri, who finally looked up in light surprise to see Mamoru right in front of him.

"Oh hello there." He was the object of every girl in school's eye, well, mostly. All the girls Mamoru knew, except herself. If one knew him for who he was, he wasn't all too appeasing anymore. He was spacey, even more then Mamoru!! And he was kind of indifferent to everything, he only did things when he felt like it, which made him the resident lone wolf of Mamoru's school. Mamoru, was of course, quite the opposite. With her hands on her hips, she asked if Hagiri had even noticed the soccer ball flying past him.

"Um..." Hagiri paused, putting his index finger on his chin in thought and looking up at the clear blue sky, "No."

Mamoru fell over and before she righted herself, she muttered, "What's the point of playing soccer with you?"

"Um..." Hagiri paused in thought, "Because we're best friends?"

Mamoru sighed and picked up the soccer ball, shaking her head and saying, "Either you gotta start paying more attention, or we gotta get you a new pair of goalie gloves."

Hagiri shrugged, "How about a new pair of gloves?" The two walked to the bleachers, and Hagiri sat down, while Mamoru juggled the soccer ball, trying to break her latest record. Hagiri was always patient, while Mamoru...well, wasn't! She could never sit still for more then a minute, and Hagiri could sit still for years. Mamoru couldn't understand Hagiri, Hagiri couldn't understand Mamoru, and yet they'd been friends for as long as they could remember. Mostly because their parents were good friends. But, in a way, they were their own friends as well.

~ + ~

My eyes scanned the tall and endless shelves of my family's library. I'd read that one...and that one...that one too...that one a few years back...well, why not read it again? By the time I read the first sentence, I'd slammed the book shut again. I didn't want to read a book I could recite the lines to again. My last private tutor had been great fun to learn from. Catch the sarcasm. He was so laid-back and easy-going. My parents didn't understand that I wanted a teacher that could put me under the whip! That would bring me new books! Thick ones!

"Sir? You're new book has arrived." One of the many butlers I couldn't name in my family's mansion said, standing at the door with his head lowered. I took it from him and thanked him quickly, before shutting the library door in his face. Sitting down in front of the coffee table and crossing one foot over the other, I opened to the first page, but paused, staring at the title page for a long time before...

Kicking off my shoes I propped them up on the glass coffee table, and slumped in my seat. Much better. I snapped my fingers and the librarian locked the doors to the library. So in case my parents decided to drop in unexpectedly, I wouldn't have to explain to them why I looked so carefree in a place that I could be watched by camera's and paparazzi. They only wished paparazzi would follow them around. Unlike my sister, who was constantly running from the scary photographers and reporters. The stories in those magazines were absolutely hilarious- that is, if I had that sense of humor. My humor came from suffering and clever sayings, rather then how the columns in magazine's twisted up my image, and my sister's.

I only read magazine's for those. Otherwise, they just melted your brain with mush that wasn't 100% confirmed. Turning to the first page- with text- I started to read my book on Le Chateliers Principle of Dynamic Equilibrium. Many of my private tutor's got creeped out by how much I knew- about everything they asked me about. I bit my lip in annoyance when I couldn't really make out the words, and snapped my fingers again. The librarian handed me a pair of glasses, frameless with a silver bridge. I hated glasses, but I never wore contacts while at home. It was too much trouble. And besides, who cared if the world found out that I, my sisters younger brother, had sight problems?

Who honestly cared about that? The letters became much clearer, and I was satisfied for the moment. My laptop sat in front of me, and it was almost always on. I loved searching through the pages, adding my own information and digesting others. I only went to sites in which I knew that the information was 100% scientific. Sometimes, I would write essays on topics I liked, and send them in anonymously. I never really cared about giving out my address- who would even be able to get past the front gates? Not paparazzi, that's for sure. And those guys are smarter then they're given credit for.

"Geh..." I groaned as I trudged through the city in the pouring rain. "How could I be so stupid as to not bring ANY food if I was going to run away from home!?" I had been both mentally and verbally scolding myself ever since I had left because of the errors I committed during my escape. Even for someone who liked to look on the positive side, there just wasn't a positive side in this situation! I had no food, no shelter, not to mention the cops would soon be looking for me. I couldn't let them catch me, I couldn't go home, mom would certainly make me suffer in a way I'd never suffered before!

Either way, I needed to get out of the rain. Desperately, I surveyed the street before me. A few stores, and an apartment building, not really places I could hide if I wanted to avoid the authorities. Seeing no other option, I ducked into a nearby alley as I waited for the rain to pass. Cold, dark, creepy. Those three words best described my great idea for a hiding place. I ventured further down the alleyway, and was sent running back out by the screech of a nearby cat. Having no further options, I sat patiently out in the rain in front of a convenience store, in hope that the rain would pass.

In the end, I wasn't even permitted to do that, as a cop car caught my eye. I jumped up, and began running towards a station. A bus station, train station, anything! I just needed to get out of this city!

Keiko
---------------

"Aww, if it's one thing that makes me sad; it's the rain!" came a whiny voice. Despite the fact that it was whining, the girl it had come didn't really look like a whiner.

Keiko thunked her head on her desk at school as if she were a limp piece of celery. Her short, auburn hair falling onto the desk's top. One of her friends patted her on her back and asked her if she would be okay. She mumbled something inaudible, and her friends giggled and got up to leave, for school for the day was over, and they all wanted to get away as soon as possible. Keiko had mixed feelings about school. It was great to learn so many new things about the world, but it was also stiffling having to sit in a chair all day long.

Now it was raining and even after school there was nothing for her to do except for homework. What good was a day when you had to stay indoors? Besides... this meant she would be stuck at home with her foster family.

As Keiko got onto her bike, her means of getting to school, she thought of her foster parents' dissapointed and confused looks. She began to ride down the street, a plastic rain poncho covering her clothing. Keiko loved her foster family, she really did. They were even going to be adopting her sometime, once the paperwork began to be filed. However, lately, Keiko began acting strange towards them. She herself didn't even know why, and it was surprising because they had always been so nice to her. She thought they were the greatest people, but nowadays she found herself thinking more and more about her real parents.

They were never coming back. They were dead, and she had accepted that since day one after their deaths. She just wished she knew why lately she had been so snappish, so frustrated. Keiko was a happy, cheery person by nature, and hated people who wined and were constantly sad or angry. So now that she had come to feel those own feelings increasingly more, she began to resent herself for it.

'Why...?' she thought to herself as she rode on, 'What's wrong with me? Maybe it's the rain. It has been a while since we've done something in the outdoors as a family.' It was true. Between everyone's busy schedules they hadn't seen the outdoors in quite some time. Keiko loved adventuring, and her family just didn't do it anymore.

The girl was coming to the turnoff for her street. She stopped the pedals to make her bike come to a stop. Should she go home right away? Sure, it was raining, but she would slowly die in that house! There was no rule against adventuring in the rain. She smiled her cheery smile. "Adventuring time!" she said happily.

Somewhere in the back of her mind, she felt guilty.

I was sitting in my room, sweating as I typed up a word document at my computer, cursing under my breath from time to time, but other thaan that, the room was silent, other than the sounds of a portable air conditioner. "To damn hot..." I said to myself, focusing on the computer. I had the overheat lights off, but enough light from the window came in to see clearly, and I didn't want it getting any hotter... I wipe d a hand across my forehead, thinking. My parents ALWAYS loved interupting me to go outside and do work at the worst possible times... At least I was back inside now, and I could study my G.E.D. Books at my own pace. I never liked going outside when I could help it, I always overheated so easily, even without my coat... At least when winter came, it would be more bearable...

OOC: Sorry for the rushed post, my time on here is limited before the parents come back. >.>

OOC: All right, after that long site breakdown, we can finally continue!

It was about 6 in the morning, and the sky was only just beginning to rise. Zuri was awake though, and she had just finished getting dressed and everything. So now, Zuri walked over to the door leading to the rest of the house, pausing for a moment to acknowledge that her grandmother was waiting down there. Then she glanced behind her, where a big window stood--it was nice to sit in this darkness and watch the sun rise, but now Zuri had no time for that, as today was a school day.

When Zuri opened the door, she noticed a glow coming from a corner of the floor below--Zuri sighed and fretted at the sight of this. As she walked down the wooden stairs, she glimpsed her grandmother, kneeling at an altar that stood in a far corner of the house. That was where the glow came from; the altar was lined with candles. As Zuri descended the stairs, she could her her grandmother speaking, praying...
"Lord, bless this house, this entire house... from the vast living room all the way up to the second floor, even Zuri's room. Let my precious grandchild be free from all the sinful acts she is ever drawn to..."
This was one part of this Zuri hated, as those "sinful acts" actually meant paranormal activity, especially having to do with her late parents.
"...The Devil has her possessed, I fear, so much that I am finding it increasingly harder to bring her to the light... Please, oh holy one, please help us."

After Grandma was finished, she turned on the electric lights in the house and started putting out the candles. It was then that she saw Zuri.
"Good morning, my angel," Grandma greeted. Zuri found this greeting rather odd--hadn't she just claimed Zuri to be under influence of the devil?
"Silent as usual, are we?" Grandma said when Zuri didn't reply. Zuri just looked back and started heading to the front door.
"Leaving already?" Grandma asked. "You have an hour and a half before school starts--why don't you come have breakfast first?"
"No thank you," Zuri answered without looking at her grandmother--she just continued walking to the door.
"Whatever could be wrong?" Grandma lamented. "Why are you so cold around me? You never open up to me, you act like I've been mean to you... Why, after I've done everything I can to be loving and kind and..." Grandma stopped mid-sentence and started to cry. Zuri couldn't help but feel a little bit sorry for her, but she neither said anything nor turned around to look at her grandmother.

That morning in school, Zuri was in her gym clothes, sitting among her classmates near the soccer field. Mornings were usually depressing for her, as she first had to deal with problems with her grandmother, then have her first class in high school be of her worst and least favourite subject.
Some choice I made, Zuri thought, waiting until my senior year to take P.E. Especially when all these problems with my grandmother are taking place. Now she even thinks I've been possessed by the devil! So now the only good day I look forward to nowadays is Saturday...
The teacher/coach blew her whistle, causing Zuri to focus her attention on her instead.
"All right everyone," the teacher, Ms. Akida, announced, "get into the teams you picked yesterday and let's start to actually play!"
Zuri didn't like the team she was in, as most of its members were the classmates that usually teased her the most. What was worse, this time the team had picked Zuri for playing goalie. Great, the most important position assigned to the worst player. What were they thinking?

The good thing was that in this game, Zuri didn't have to do much running around in her position. But then one time when the ball came to her and she picked it up (another plus: she was the only one who could use hands), she couldn't kick it very far, so she ended up with a sore foot and the embarrassment of the other team scoring a goal.
"Come on Zuri, are you gonna play or what?" another girl on the team asked. Apparently she was mad at Zuri letting the goal in, but Zuri didn't reply--the game just continued on.

A couple of minutes later, Zuri was standing on the right side of the field, when someone on the other team kicked the ball hard, right at her. Zuri made to catch the ball, but it was flying at her with so much force that it hit her in the stomach then knocked her backwards a little. Unfortunately, Zuri happened to be standing right in front of one of the goal posts, so she collided with it, then fell sideways onto the grass.

Ms. Akida came running to her.
"Are you all right?" Akida asked, kneeling down next to Zuri. "Maybe you should go up to the nurse's office."
Though with a little difficulty, Zuri stood up. "I'll be fine..." Zuri muttered, still wincing from the impact. "I think I'll just wait somewhere until... until class is over. I don't... want to miss my other classes."
Ms. Akida nodded, and then she helped Zuri over to a bench where they sat down. Akida continued to observe the other students while talking to Zuri.
"This is the third time this month that something like this happened," Akida commented. "Normally, after you miss class three times, you get suspended. I know you don't like this class, but I also know that all these incidents have been accidents. Therefore you are exempted from that punishment. Just try to be a little more careful, OK?"

Later in the day, Zuri was sitting in her chemistry class, just about finishing a quiz on chemical formulas. Now, she was checking over some of the questions on the quiz to make sure they were right. Glancing around the classroom, Zuri could see some students staring into space, others concentrating on their quiz, others looking around the classroom. Anyways, after a while, the teacher cleared his throat and whispered to Zuri and the guy sitting next to her,
"Zuri, Hiro... I have to take your quizzes. I warned you about the cheating rule."
"But..." Zuri protested, "...who, why... I wasn't copying..."
"You didn't copy anybody, Zuri," the teacher commented, "but you let Hiro copy you."
"Aww, Mr. Raiji..." the classmate named Hiro groaned as the teacher took both his and Zuri's quizzes away. Mr. Raiji... Zuri liked his manner of teaching, but he was sometimes a little too strict...

As the bell rang for lunch, students passing Zuri in the hallway often giggled or muttered things behind her back, probably relating to her bad experiences in PE and chemistry class that day. So instead of heading to the cafeteria like the others, she headed outside and found an isolated place at the very edge of the campus. She wasn't sure whether students were allowed in this area, but all she cared about at this point was being alone.
