Digimon: Darkness Rising

I have decided to change my partner digimon from BlackGabumon to BlackGuilmon. I hope it doesn't cause any problems.

Appearance: Standing a 4'11" and weighing 70 pounds, Aristo is extremely wirey in the arms and legs. He doesn't have much muscle definition anywhere on his body. He is Caucasian, and has blonde hair. He has grey-blue eyes, that flicker between the colors depending on the light. He wears a camouflage army hat that has the symbol of a sergeant on the front. He wears oval shaped glasses that are too big for him, so they usually slide down forcing him to push them back up. He wears a blue t-shirt with a symbol of a basketball and writing that says bring it. He has on camouflage cargo pants on that are baggy, so they hand down a little under his waist. He wears a pair of Nike sneakers that are black and have blue shoe laces. Also, the Nike swoosh is blue.

Personality: Since Aristo has grown up with father, he knows all about war strategies, and likes to utilize them in battle. He always tries to think ahead of his opponent, that way he could have the upper hand despite his size. He loves to be stealthy, and often pulls pranks on people. He is a very positive sort of person that drives for success, even if the are no ways possible to achieve it. He is stubborn at times because he always wants everything to go his way, and he will do whatever it takes to make it his way. He is a patient person often waiting on his target to come to him. He loves to be the center of attention and will often put on his "cute charm" to be surrounded by older girls. He is an only child, so he always wanted an older brother to play catch with him when his father was on a mission. So, to rap it up he is the following: strategic, tries to think ahead of his opponent, stealthy, positive and sometimes headstrong, stubborn at times, patient, loves to be the center of attention, and wants an older brother.

killet, I feel that Labramon -> Dobermon -> Cerberumon -> Anubimon is likely more appropriate. I don't actually know for sure, but this seems the most correct to me.

Also there's the fact that Baihumon is, like, you know... one of the corrupted four deities. Haha.

Everybody, since Mistress is not on tonight (and since I'm a lazy idiot who forgot to post this the night before) I am giving the deadline now. All Digidestined signups must be at least started and submitted by November 11th at 9:00. Cirrus, I heard about your workload from Mistress. That's fine as I'm doing NaNo as well. Also, some time tomorrow there is likely to be an OOC thread. Please do copy your signups there when it goes up. Thanks a lot everyone.
 
I am claiming the last available Digi-Destined spot as my own. Jake Thorn will be up by Thursday my time, which is Wednesday Fuyu's time.
 
I sincerely hope that the English-sounding names are in fact foreigners and not actual Japanese people. I mean it sounds so... awkward; and it doesn't sit right sometimes.

This concern applies to everybody across the board...

Appearance: Jake was tall and lean, and his straight dark hair reached to his shoulders. His cheekbones were sharp, giving him a gaunt, hollow look. His nose drooped slightly at the tip, and his brilliant jade-green eyes gazed out from beneath low-set eyebrows. His lips curled in a permanent sneer. He was dressed in black jeans and a black t-shirt, and a dark tattoo of Orochimon wound around his right forearm.

History: Long ago, when Jake was four, his parents died in a supposed accident. Jake was devastated at the time, but when the virus attributed Cherubimon appeared in the real world, he desired knowledge of the Digital World. Cherubimon had come to make him a representative of the forces of evil, who were battling against the Digi-Destined. Years passed and with the corrupted Falcomon by his side, Jake was unstoppable. It was rumoured that he had originally been destined to be one of the Digi-Destined.

Personality: Jake is withdrawn and very cold-hearted. He only talks to Cherubimon and his army, as well as giving Falcomon the best care possible when the bird Digimon is injured. As long as Cherubimon is his boss, Jake has no intention of returning to the Light. Jake also swears occasionally, but only when he's annoyed at the prospect of losing a fight.

I highly advise the buizel guy... ah, killet, was it... to revise the name of "Rehoma Sarusagie". Rehoma doesn't actually mean anything in particular in Japanese, or if it does, it has some confoundable meaning... but I guess you could explain that away somehow using kana and maybe a possibility that the name is never written with kanji (very rare, although... maybe plausible?) "Sarusagie" however should probably be "Sarusagi", and it bears the meaning of either "monkey's lie" or "monkey heron", neither of which is very pretty, especially because last names are almost always written in kanji.

This person is Japanese?

I made up the name with my friend. Its not supposed to mean anything in Japanese, and no, he is American with a Japanese name. I didn't know how to spell it when we made it up, so we just made up a weird way to spell it. I will change it if it pleases you.

Appearance: Haruna has a slight build, though she is by no means short; her appearance gives off the air of a person with a rather weak constitution. She has long, slightly messy hair, which is of such a length that it reaches to almost the entirety of her back. They are sometimes tied into two tail-esque things at a midpoint in the middle part of her back, but her appearance remains largely the same. Her hair is a smooth, unglossy black, the typical color of most Japanese hair. Her eyes are a pleasant, watery brown, and she has a smile on her face as a default expression.

She tends to wear a white or light-shaded short-sleeved blouse, over top of which she wears a dark pinafore dress, often brown or black or some other such color. The bottom part of the pinafore is cut to a fairly medium length, on the low side, though modesty is entirely preserved. If she isn't wearing a dress, then she wears a collared long-sleeved shirt with a skirt attached to it; in either case accompanying her outfit are a pair of 57-cm black cotton socks or some sort of footwear close to that length, with a skirt-to-skin-to-sock-above-knee ratio of 4 : 1 : 2.5. For shoes, she wears Venetian-style loafers the same color as her socks, or black-and-white sneakers if athletic activity is required.

Personality: Haruna is a somewhat forgetful person at times, but she is usually cheerful and oblivious, having an innocent and carefree temperament and being extremely friendly. She is typically nice to everyone around her, blinking away and ignoring insults altogether for the most part; she is saddened by the prospect of and frowns at cruelty in all forms, as well as suffering. She doesn't cry often or easily, despite this, and really only exhibits symptoms slash expressions and emotions of utter shock or alternately ones of mournful sorrow. When she does cry, however, she has... nihilistic tendencies if no one is present to comfort her or tell her off; whether her target of choice is herself or someone else is highly dependent on what happened, but she will lose all semblance of logic if truly provoked to tears. As a result, if anyone becomes the target of one of her grudges, it is virtually impossible to remove that designation.

History: Haruna's parents are both devoted to the arts. Her father is a writer, the author of three or four novels or so, and the columnist for a magazine. Her mother is a professional musician, specifically a cellist, and is a member of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. It was in a spacious 4LDK and under this sort of atmosphere that Haruna grew up, immersed in literature and music. Her family keeps a female cat, which they affectionately refer to as Nyachan. Haruna is well-versed on the playing of violins, having studied it since she was six or seven years old, and is quite appreciative of most forms of music. She plays some flute on the side, but it was started several years after she began violin. She is a mild manga otaku as well, though this is not often displayed to anyone at school; she attends Comiket regularly, following a fair amount of shoujo manga.

Though she is exposed to a lot of literary material, she tends to be a little oblivious regarding if others have an interest in her. Whether this is intentional or not has yet to be seen; though, to be honest, it's likely that she simply doesn't want to damage their feelings if she does not feel the same way. She acts in a similar fashion if she is interested in someone else, however, and this is likely a weak point of hers - she doesn't confess to any such feelings to the person unless she is entirely sure they reciprocate it as such. This can lead to some stalemates.

Her motivation for going on this adventure is simply that it attracts her interest; even though she doesn't like to publicly admit it as such, she would prefer to have adventures than to do mundane things like going to school. Secondarily, however, she feels obligated to help the Digital World, as it is her duty as one of the Chosen - the Digital World is a wondrous place, and even though she is only familiar with the Digimon manga (V-Tamer etc), she is bewildered that such a place can actually exist and is resolved to protect it from destruction. In fact, this feels entirely like the plot for some manga series, and she is excited to participate in this partially because of that as well.

Appearance: A fierce lion-shaped Digimon, Leormon is only of a small-to-medium size, but his mannerisms are quite intimidating and ferocious towards his enemies. Towards his friends / allies / companions, he is quite loyal and is willing to put his own skin on the line for the fight to save the Digital World. His nature is naturally one that likes to challenge himself and put himself up against strong enemies, and this is no less true here than it is for other Leormon.

A legitimate question: How much exactly do we know of the Digital World? I am a little unsure of this - are these Chosen entirely fresh and don't know how to evolve their partners? Or do they instantly gain Mega-level power? (I would assume it's the former, but never hurts to check)
