This RP is invite only. However, if you can't live without participating, PM me and I'll look you over.

    Oh, and thank you wiki for a lot of the info here. XD;

    Plot

For generation upon generation, the Digital World has remained in a peaceful state. Stories of the worlds human saviours were cast down throughout each generation of Digimon. Stories of how these humans, the Digi-destined, brought peace, happiness, and prosperity to the Digital Lands. However, over the years, the stories began to become twisted in manors that made the humans look like evil, disgusting beings that had their own selfish intents. This caused quite a conflict between the worlds citizens, and it soon divided itself into three factions.

The Pro-Human faction stayed loyal to the older stories, while the Anti-Human faction followed the newer version. Secretly, they had began preparing for the annihilation of the human world, which was located parallel to their own. The third faction was the thirteen Royal Knights, those meant to keep order in the Digital World. However, the Royal Knights, too, became corrupted by the new tales.

The only two members of the Royal Knights that continued on with their duty were Omnimon, the old leader of the knights, and Gallantmon. Seven of the thirteen members sided with the Anti-Human faction: Magnamon, Dynasmon, Crusadermon, UlforceVeedramon, Craniumon, Sleipmon, and even the leader, Alphamon. However, Omnimon noticed an odd aura about them, as well as their unusual movements, and came to the conclusion that there was some sort of power controlling them. Another strange, and noted difference was that the seven traitors had added on to their names like so: LustCrusadermon, EnvySleipmon, GreedMagnamon, GluttonyUlforceVeedramon, SlothCraniumon, WrathDynasmon, and PrideAlphamon.

Not knowing where else to turn, with seven traitorous members, and four members missing without reason, Omnimon turned to the only resource he could; the human world. He was aware of the consequences for the human children when he came to this decision. The danger they'd be put in due to the Anti-Human faction, and the pressure they'd recieve from the Pro-Human faction. He, along with Gallantmon, would have to keep a close eye on the new Digi-destined at all times. He also utilized an ancient text for summoning the heroes, a text that would send Digivices of legend to them, along with their partners. From that point on, it would be their choice to make it to the Digital World and fulfill their destiny.

OOC: Since I didn't get to use him elsewhere, I'll just steal him for this RP. :3 I'm workin' on it, give me some time.

    Name: Jace Suhine
    Age: 15
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Jace has messy black hair, which is never kempt, and makes it seem as though he got out of bed, and simply ran his fingers through it and flattened it. Which is probably what he did. His eyes are a dark purplish black that are hard to miss, and is probably the first thing you'll notice about him- if his long bangs haven't been brushed out of the way yet. His attire consists of a dark purple T-shirt that has black paint splatter designs across the side, and a pair of slightly-too-big black denim jeans. Jace wears a black wristband on his right arm, and a dark violet one on his left. He has two piercings on his right ear lobe which are one silver sphere on top, and a small silver hoop on the bottom. He's almost never seen without a toothpick hanging out of his mouth, and he keeps a box of them in his back pocket. His eye's are always half closed, as it's his way of saying "I'm not interested in you, or anything else in this place." And they only widen when his full attention is on something- which doesn't include much.

Personality:Jace is very self-confident, often, too self-confident. Though, at first glance, you'd never know it, because he looks like your average, lazy teenager- one that looks as though he's about to fall asleep mind you. He rarely walks straight, as he believes his slouch and body language is enough to get the point that he's not a very exciting person, across. Indeed, Jace isn't the most exciting person you'll ever meet, with his slow drawl and consistent flow of sarcasm. He's rather selfish as well, and is the pessimist who will always go along with something, but always adds a jab like, "Not gonna work," or, "This sucks." He doesn't really have any kind of temper, as he's never been provoked enough to lose his cool to the point in which his mind is fogged. (It's usually blank anyway.) But this never really helps him in tight situations, because he utterly fails at thinking up solutions, (They mostly consist of 'It'll work out eventually') and really only thinks about other people's idea's and solutions. He can sit for days and not be able to contribute an idea, even to a simple discussion such as, 'Which way do we go?'.

History: Once upon a time, Jace's family was a happy family, with a steady income, and a more then average household. But, that time was long ago, and his family, though still well off financially, is a terrible cyclone that never ceases to stop ravaging. With his parents arguing over Jace's indifferent attitude, selfishness, and falling grades, Jace never got a moment of peace to himself, even though truthfully, he was never around his parents to hear them bicker. He always hung out somewhere away from his house, getting a little pocket change for food from his Mom, who was a little less strict, and only slept in his house. He did homework, as rarely as that was, at the park, ate at the park, and basically lived his free time in that park. Soon enough, his parents forgot all about him being around, ever, though they still knew of his existence. They gave him what he needed to live, daily, but they never argued about him, nor did they ever really speak of him. After a month of this, Jace returned to live normally at home, earning strange glances from his family, who wondered why he'd suddenly come back. But this time, he took to retreating to his bedroom, only leaving for school, breakfast, bathroom trips, and dinner. Otherwise, he spent all his time surfing the net, doing...whatever he felt like! It was this that distanced him from everyone around him, and Jace rarely began to speak to anyone, forming himself around the personality he'd made for himself online, instead of his real, more optimistic personality, which was quickly discarded.

    Digivice Model: Original Digivice

    Crest: Crest of Hope

    Digimon:

Personality: DemiMeramon and DemiDevimon are very tricky, cheerful digimon, who loves to play pranks on just about everyone. Cunning and devious, DemiDevimon always has a solution, be it a good one or a bad one, as per the personality he takes from his next evolution, Devimon. Though, his personality aspects change as he digivolves, as DemiDevimon, he is a simply your average mischevious digimon. As Devimon, if the enemy is weaker, then he'll be sure to play mindless games, but if the enemy is just as powerful, or more powerful, then Devimon will make it a point to destroy the enemy as soon as possible. When Devimon digivolves to NeoDevimon, his loyalty and leaderly skills are amplified, and he will not follow any commands unless he respects whoever is doling out the commands. When Daemon emerges, he becomes a digimon with a very very short temper, and a very powerful tantrum, as the insignia of Wrath for the Digital world.

    Human

    Name: Tomoyo Kaioh
    Age: 12
    Gender: Female
Appearance: Tomoyo has a skin complexion that is correlative to a peach, her skin is the ashen, yet flush color of a peach. And the asperous stubbles of the peach are Tomoyo's ample army of her auburn-colored freckles. Tomoyo's ginger hair can be dubbed the color of burnt sienna, or brown, but she prefers to address as a cerise, or red color. A three-fourths portion of Tomoyo's hair is joined into two braids that have roseate hair bands. Her sustained bangs obscure her viridian viridian eyes, that seem to be glowing every minute. They start into a straight line and then flow into two dollops of hair. This is often used as a visual gag, seeing as it resembles a meek, little cockroach. Tomoyo has a nose that can be just look as if were a small stub on Tomoyo's face. Her face is inadequate and always put into a small smile or a rabbity expression. Tomoyo is petite, and stands at a height that isn't average for her age, as she might be mistaken for a nine year-old.

As her attire, Tomoyo wears a collar shirt thats color is a light rouge color, on the design it features a well-painted rabbit that has cerulean eyes and just seems to be staring at you, on the front-corner on the right side, there is a cherry that is simply used as an adornment. Her small waist physique is covered by some jeans that are adorned with two argent belts, they have a minor pattern of vines in a ebony color. The denim is a navy color and fits loosely around her legs. She wears simple tennis shoes that are purely a plain, white color. On her wrist are a jangle of bracelets, they jingke a tune that is similar to sleigh bells.
Personality: Tomoyo is known as polite, one that can be described as accomodating, and charitable. But she is similar to a new-born kitten, curious to the world, but lost in the bustle of it. Tomoyo is very shy and lacks self-confidence, if she is bullied or antagonized, she doesn't speak up to the tease and usually, just canters away from the situation. She is complex; and blandly everyone, even Tomoyo knows of this aspect of hers. The definition to complex is a system of interrelated, emotion-charged ideas, feelings, memories, and impulses that is usually repressed and that gives rise to abnormal or pathological behavior. And thus, this explains her apprehensive demeanor. Tomoyo is not afraid to cry. And she doesn't repress her feelings of shedding tears. But she is usually pushed around because of and teased about. In school, Tomoyo has maintained nearly-perfect grades and can be described as an overachiever, she may sometimes be put under pressure if the decision is life-threatening but overall, she can be a good strategist. Tomoyo is a motherly figure, she's calm, and she's fond about her friends, willing to take her life for theirs.

Okay, I added two things to the form. One is selecting colours for your digivice (unless its an original), and the other is a general personality for your Digimon.

    Human

    Name: David
    Age: 16
    Gender: Male

Appearance: David stands at about 5'10". He has an average hair length for a guy, the hair being spiked. He has very unique eye colouring: one eye is blue, the other appears grey-green. He has an average build as well. He is usually dressed in a plain white shirt, with a short-sleeved dress shirt overtop. The dress shirt is decorated with thin, black and white, vertical stripes. He wears the dress shirt in such a manner that it is unbuttoned, revealing the white shirt underneath. The dress shirt also has a pocket in the upper, left pocket. He also wears a plain pair of blue jeans. He usually has his iC located in his right pocket, since he is right handed. He wears a pair of regular, black, running shoes with an white 'S' on either side of them. Around his forehead, he wears a thin headband with the same 'S' symbol at the front, and colour scheme.

Personality: Since he grew up under the guidance of his loving parents, David has a very considerate personality. He is very intelligent, which is shown by his ability to get no lower than 85% in most, if not all classes. He is very easy to be around, since he never attempts stupid stunts like other boys his age, and is normally in a good mood. Over the span of his life so far, he has gained the ability to read peoples moods, often helping them understand themselves more than they understand themselves. He is also good at listening to people, although most would rather not spill their secrets to him, let alone anyone. He is trusting, honest, and loyal to those who deserve such things, and although fighting isn't exactly his cup of tea, he'll do it with the right motivation.

History: Like mentioned earlier, David grew up under the guidance of his parents. He was raised in what most would consider a normal environment; middle class, in a normal house, going to normal school, having normal relations with others. He almost always got the highest marks in class, and his understanding nature made him a hit with the girls at school. When he was thirteen, his father passed away, and he started to distance himself. It was only until last year in which he befriended Christine that he began to return to his prior self.

Digivice Model: Digivice iC (White body with yellow front)

    Digimon

Personality: Conomon and Cokomon: Although she isn't in these two states often, if at all, she has a very bubbly, carefree personality. However, when faced with danger, she tends to growl angrily at the foe, entirely alert.

Lopmon, Turuiemon, and Antylamon: Despite the stereotype that Lopmon are shy and quiet Digimon, this one is not. Lopmon is more oftenly than not commenting on everything sarcastically, similarly to the stereotype of her canine counterpart, Terriermon. While she can be naive at times, she is very friendly and loyal, willing to risk everything for her friends. Another one of her less pleasable attributes, at least to David, is the fact that she tends to get jealous easily when he talks to females; both human and Digimon. The same can be said about Turueimon and Antylamon's personality, only she has more of a violent flare during combat, and she tends to become more serious and cuts back on the sarcasm. There are times while fighting where she says almost nothing at all.

Cherubimon: So, most people would see an uncorrupt Cherubimon as calm, peaceful, without a want for violence. Well... this Cherubimon has a tendancy to go overboard while fighting, somewhat incapable of completely controlling her powers, like her ability to gravitate objects. Despite this, she is a loyal, hardworking Digimon who wants nothing more than to protect her friends; both the ones in her group, and the Digimon kind in general. She cares enough about her cause that willing to sacriface herself for its sake if the need every arises.

    Baby
    Name: Conomon
    Appearance

    In-Training

    Rookie
    Name: Lopmon

Blazing Ice: Lopmon leaps into the air and quickly shoots small icy crystallline bolts from her mouth that can harm her enemies as well as freeze them.
Petit Twister: Spins to form a tornado that she can impact with or throw.

    Champion
    Name: Turuiemon
    Appearance
    Attacks:
Gauntlet Claw: Slices her enemies with the silver blades that are on both of her hands.
Bunny Bomb: Throws explosive energy balls at her opponents
Crescent moon kick: Does a somersault on the foe forming some kind of a half-moon within the legs.
Shryuken: Does an upward kick making herself an image of a dragon.

    Ultimate
    Name: Antylamon
    Appearance
    Attacks:
Bunny Blades (Treasure Axe): Her paws glow with pink light before becoming large crescent moon shaped blades. When her paws are in this state she is able to throw blades of pink light energy as well as slice and dice her enemies in close physical combat.
Mantra Chant (Arm Bomber): A psychic shockwave attack from both sides.

    Mega
    Name: Cherubimon
    Appearance
    Attacks:
Storm of Judgment (Heaven's Judgement): Summons a thunder cloud that drops a set number of lightning bolts.
Lightning Spear: Creates a bolt of lightning and throws it at the enemy.

    Human

    Name: Robin Pryce

    Age: 17

    Gender: Female

Appearance: Robin's appearance has changed greatly over the few years, though the biological factors remain the same, such as her blue eyes, and very fair hair, matching her light skin perfectly. In the time where she's lived with her mother, she was said to have been growing up as quite the lovely young lady as this picture clearly shows. However after her mother's death, her sense of style changed greatly, and was soon seen in binding, and boys clothes, as you can see in this picture. She usually ends up wearing darker clothes, such as a black leather jacket, random T-shirts, as well as jeans. She also usually wears a variety of headbands in bold colors, furthering the image of masculinity.

Personality: Robin's current personality isn't too much different from how she used to be. Now she seems slightly detached most of the time, and usually only shows irritation, unless she's distracted enough not to bother covering up her emotions. Most of the time, she only shows that she has emotions through the strange jokes she tends to make from time to time. One of the few people she's ever open with, is her long time friend, Kaname.

History: Raised in a traditional American sense, she quickly transferred from public school to correspondence courses because of a case of ADHD that was rather intense at that time, and allowed to work at her own pace, she flourished. She had a loving father who was not only in the military, but spent several periods in Okinawa, and taught her several forms of self defense, including how to use a knife, and street fighting. But despite this, she seemed to be a fine young lady, until her mother left the family, with no explanation of any kind.

After that, she changed a great deal, and practically renounced her feminine side, devoting herself to her classes, both self defense, and correspondence. Shortly after the departure, her father decided to move as well, a great deal closer to a friend of hers. She never bothered trying to fit in with the kids, but with most believing she was a boy, she supported that rumor, and enforced it by getting into, and winning quite a few fights.

Digivice Model: iC (Black grip, pink front)

    Digimon

    Personality:

Zurumon, Pagumon, and Gizamon: In the lower forms, he tends to be a bit more malleble. He's very proud, and can easily get riled up at any insult, but is just about impervious to anything else, keeping calm, if gruff with everyone.

Kyuubimon abd Kyuukimon: In these forms, she loses her gruff tendancy, and tends to remain a bit more composed in a battle. but by that same not, whe retains her sensitivity to insults, as well as a few other social weaknesses, and is thus more prone to be exploited from that weakness.

GuardiAngemon: In this final form, he has a much calmer bearing, immune to nearly any sort of jibe. However, he is still somewhat exploitable, due to his need to be noble. If he sees an injustice in this form, he finds it very hard to resist the ened to dispatch justice.

    Baby: zurumon
    Attacks: Poison Bubbles

    In-Training:
    Pagumon

    Attacks: Poison Bubbles

    Rookie:
    Gizamon

Attacks: Spiral Saw, 4-Leg Kick, Water Cure

    Champion:
    Kyuubimon

Attacks: Dragon Wheel, Fox Tail Inferno

    Ultimate: Kyuukimon
    Attacks: Blade Twister

    Mega: SlashAngemon

OOC: Bijou told me to come and sign-up here. It definitely looks good. I'm joining. Unless, Origin, you have a problem with that...

    My Sign-up Form

    Name: Nathaniel Winterfield

    Age: 14

    Gender: Male

Appearance: Nathaniel is of middle height, and slender build. Because e is not big-built, he seems to be tall, but really, he is of normal height. He has dark hair, almost black in colour, and silky to touch. He has grown it quite long, and takes extra good care of it. Often, when he is not watching, it falls in front of his eyes, and he is forced to brush it out. Speaking of which, his eyes are a dazzling blue in colour. They seem to be an ocean of emotions, swirling about without a beginning, nor an end. His skin is of pale complexion, and has a few freckles along his sculpted nose. His attire is actually quite formal for someone of his age, but he has been brought up like that. He wears a pair of flat-front navy blue trousers, worn slightly below the normal waistline. He couples that with a white shirt, which has the first three buttons casually undone, and is not tucked in. He wears black leather shoes.

Personality: Nathaniel tries his very best to be kind-hearted and understanding. He really does. But he never succeeds. Being brought up by snooty rich people, he has become a snooty rich person. He looks down upon poorer people with an upturned nose. He cannot imagine a world without the luxuries that he possesses, and has no idea how the middle and lower classes survive. However, despite all of this, he is quite an intelligent person. In fact, he is smarter than most people his age, and smarter than most people older than him as well. He has had countless arguments with his teachers, and often won them. This only boosted his self-confidence, and he continued to do so. He enjoys spendning time with people of his intelligence level, and getting into "intelligent conversations".

History: Nathaniel was sired by one of the richest people in Japan, and his mother came from an equally rich family. Both of his parents worked, and so, he spent most of his childhood being home-schooled, and with his bodyguard. Odd, how the person to whom he was closest to was his bodyguard. He hardly ever saw his parents, even on Sundays, and soon, he was separated from their life completely. When he turned twelve, he took to wandering the streets in contemplation on what his most recent teacher had just told him. His mind would often wander and would find himself dreaming about becoming as important a man as his father. Surprisingly, his bodyguard did not approve of this habit, as he would be open to enemies, but Nathaniel was, after all, the son of the man who signed his paycheck, and so, he didn't say anything. Even now, Nathaniel hardly knows his parents, and they hardly know him. They hadn't given him a birthday present in six years...

Digivice Model: Original Digivice (Red on black)

However, when Patamon digivolves into Airdramon, he gains a violent nature, and one that enjoys violence. Then, when he digivolves into Garudamon, and later Phoenixmon, he loses some of that aggressiveness, and gain a strong sense of honour and pride, and will fight to protect all.

IC: Ophanimon's Gate, The Digital World
"Omnimon... Are you sure there is no other way? Surely the other knights will come to their senses and rejoin us as comrades once more?" The white and red armor-clad Digimon attempted to sway his ally against his actions once more as they stood upon a large white altar in the center of a snowy land. He was using his red cape to shield himself from the blowing snow. "You are as much aware as I that if you bring any humans into this world, that they will indeed be sought by the Anti-Human Faction. Not to mention the rumors of-"

"No, Gallantmon, this is the only remaining solution." The white-clad knight with a WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon head on th left and right arm respectively replied. "If even the leader, Alphamon, has abandoned us for the enemy, then we stand no chance fighting them alone. The Pro-Human Faction is too weak as it stands to aid us. They lack the power the Anti-Human Faction has, although they do have more numbers." Omnimon began walking to the center of the altar, pillars of light lined around the alter, creating a beautiful image with the dancing snow. "That is why we came here, to Ophanimon's Gate; the southernmost point in the Digital World. We are going to summon humans- no, Digidestined to our land. They will overcome all, and purge our lands of the darkness with us. And even they won't be alone. Ophanimon's Gate, although I'm unaware of how the concept works, graces the humans it chooses with a Digimon that they may call their partner."

Gallantmon had but one more chance to convince his partner against this. It wasn't as if he didn't want the humans help; it was quite the opposite. He just didn't want to involve those that were innocent. "But, don't we require a key to activate the gate?"

"Although I'm unsure of it's authenticity, I believe we do indeed have the key." Omnimon clearly stated as his sword shot out of the Wargreymon head. However, a fractal code was strangely floating around the sword, glowing a strange blue colour in what appeared to be a reaction with the altar. "Yes, this is indeed the key. It is Ophanimon's fractal code, and it will bring us SALVATION!" With that said, Omnimon thrusted the sword, along with the fractal code, into the altar.

The altar suddenly lit up with colours like a rainbow. Taken aback by the sight, Gallantmon stepped back a few steps in case it turned out to be unsafe. The pillars of light, all seven in total, suddenly lit up a different colour. One yellow, one pink, one black, one white, one red, one blue, and one purple. In each one of the pillars quickly displayed a Digi-egg hatching, and then the data flew up the pillars into the sky.

David's House, In some city in the Human World
"Another day, another stack of homework..." I sighed as I dropped somewhere between three and six books down on my computer desk. I say from three to six, because I'm not sure which number it was. "Why did I have to get Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics all in the same semester?" It was about November now, meaning the semester at my school was getting closer and closer to finishing. Therefore, I was getting more and more homework. I removed a pen from my primary binder, and pressed the switch on my computer to turn it on. I didn't know it yet, but pressing that computer switch was going to change my outlook on life forever...

Deciding I'd start by writing my Chemistry lab, I got my textbook out along with the correct sheets. Quality control of vinegar... fun stuff! It was at that point that my computer began to beep. At first, it was only every so often, so I just ignored it. However, they became more and more frequent over the following ten minutes, irritating me to no end.

I moved my mouse slightly to turn on my sleeping monitor, only to find what appeared to be a wierd rabbit-like thing sitting on my desktop, with a text bubble above it. The bubble said: "Hi, it's nice to finally meet you." Okay, this was wierd. If it was just a new chat program, who was IMing me, and when did I download it? I typed in a reply in the bubble below, and pressed enter. It read: "Er... hi? Who are you, and what program are you using to talk to me?"

The thing responded. "I'm not using a program. I'm Lopmon, and I'm a Digimon! Pretty dumb for a human, aren't ya?" As I went to type a response, yellow light suddenly shot out of the screen. It felt like I was being drawn into the computer at the time. Too bad I found out it wasn't far from the truth later on. As the light finally cleared, the room was left empty. Papers were everywhere, and the computer was was flashing like it was broken.

It's hard to explain what it felt like during the transition between our world and the Digital World. Everything was dark, but it felt kind of warm. It really was quite nice. However, the feeling of being plunged into a lake from twenty feet in the air, and opening your eyes to see what appeared to be a giant sea snake swimming below you, before scrambling to the shore in what appeared to be a forest... well, wasn't.

What was worse was that the thing from my computer, Lopmon, was sitting on the shore, rolling around on the ground laughing the whole time. "...Where am I? What did you do to me? AND WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?" I shouted as I pointed at the creature circling in the lake.

"The Digital World, I did nothing, that's a Seadramon." Lopmon replied in an oh-so-sarcastic tone. "This is wear the Digimon live. You're one of the seven heroes destined to save our land, and you were summoned by Omnimon. I don't know anything other than that. I've been sleeping, waiting for you for the last 100 years."

"Okay... I'm lost, confused, and I think I need mental help..." I sighed as Lopmon jumped onto my shoulder.

    Back at Ophanimon's Gate
    "Gallantmon?"

    "Yes, Omnimon?"

    "We have an issue."

    "What happened, sir?"

"The humans were transported to Ogremon's Forest..."

"...Good job, sir. Shall we get going there?"

"Yes, I do believe that to be wise..."

OOC: So basically, have your human transported into a forest, preferably nearby.

OOC: Sorry for the crap post, this time limit is really killing me. >.<

It was quiet in the small apartment that belonged to Jace's distant family, and no sounds except the few 'tap's of a keyboard could be heard. The boy himself in fact, was still quite awake, reading through a long story that was starting to get more and more interesting with each passing word. He'd lacked to have dinner that night, therefore, had stolen out of his room when his family had turned in for the night, and snatched some instant stuff and cooked it all, near silently. Something he'd become very skilled at. It meant that you couldn't use the microwave, because that was much too loud, and it meant that you had to use the old fashioned pot and...uh...not so old fashioned electric stove. Remnants of that dinner sat on the edge of the oak desk, with numerous doodles and words drawn with black permanent marker.

As Jace continued with the story, pressing the 'down' key every now and then to scroll down the page, a beep started to sound whenever he pressed the key. At first, immersed in the story, Jace paid no heed to it. But as the minutes passed, the beeping grew incredibly fast, faster then Jace could even press the down button until-

"You have mail!" The speakers that were supposedly muted called out shrilly.

Jace blinked, silent as he stared at the bat-like purple puff-ball that had suddenly jumped onto the monitor. A virus, perhaps? Jace certainly didn't have any system that screamed, 'you have mail', whenever he got an e-mail.

"...What, aren't you going to say anything?" The thing looked straight at Jace. What an...interactive program. Jace looked around for a microphone, and the puff-ball asked, "Whatcha lookin' for?" Jace froze. It could see him!!

"What the hell-" A blinding white light surrounded Jace, who was more surprised and disturbed then one could think a boy like him could be. But it was only magnified when he found himself in the middle of a forest, with the bat-thing stuffing it's face right in front of him.

"Hi there!" It backed off, so that it could get a better look at the boy in front of him, and Jace managed to see that he was indeed, surrounded by trees.

"Nature..." Jace mumbled to himself in disdain, "It's all around me."

"You say something?" The bat-thing asked.

OOC: BEHOLD! My cheap-ness knows NO BOUNDS O_O

I stood in the abandoned street, dressed in a black leather jacket, and wearing sunglasses, with a hunter green headband. When they saw my eyes, it seemed to hurt my intimidating image a little bit… "Whoa, whoa." The kid opposing us said, his eyes wandering to me. "This is a rumble, what's he doing with you guys? He's no Gaul." The boy to my right only smiled. "Honorary member as of yesterday, you should really keep up with current events, Jim." He said, and I grimaced. It was only so that I'd take part in this rumble. They'd pay me after it was over, and I was out of this gang again…

    ~Later~

I looked around, and put away my switchblade and picking up the graphite walking stick Jim had tried to use. I grinned, it was light, and had some great balance. "My payment?" I asked the leader of the Gauls as he stepped up behind me. "Right here, Man." He said, and I held out my hand for him to slap a fold of bills in. "You made a huge difference there." He said, and I nodded. "That's why I charge." I said, causing him to chuckle and walk away. I blinked, looking down at the sudden flash of light. There was a palm pilot barely sticking out of Jim's coat pocket, and the screen was black, with pink, like flamingo pink text. "It's time!" It was probably an error, or Jim could be a quantum leap smarter than he looked, and trying to send some computers a virus. That still wasn't excuse to get curious, but I did. I reached down to pick it up, as a primitive pixelated shape appeared. It looked like a spiked frog almost...

That was when the screen became a luminescent pink, literally generating a beam of pink light, of sorts... I didn't have any conscious thoughts in the transition. It was like being mentally asleep, though, when I felt my air supply cut off, I was very quickly brought into the present. I gasped in suprise, and got a lungful of fresh water for my trouble. Coughing, I found myself disoriented. I couldn't tell which way was up, or down. I knew I shouldn't panic, but without a breath in my lungs, I'd have even less time... That's then I felt a large shape hit me square in the back. I tried to twist away from it, but then I felt strong claws grip my stomach. I tried to scream, but choked even further on water, and I was getting dizzy...

I coughed up water for what seemed like forever on the shore, looking at the strange creature besides me. Was it like some sort of carnivorous dolphin? It had fangs, spike,s and what looked like clawed webbing on it's feet. "Yo, kid." It said in a gutteral, but clear and calm voice. I choked agian, this time not from the water. "I'm suffering from oxygen deprivation.. carnivorous frog-dolphins are talking to me..." The thing seemed to bristly at that. "Carnivorous WHAT?!" Perhaps that wasn't the smartest thing I had done. I didn't even know where my walking stick was...

OOC: I haven't Role Played in ages, so forgive me if my skills are a bit rusty. I'm sure after a post or two, though, I'll get back to normal.

    Nathaniel Winterfield
    Status: Unharmed albeit somewhat surprised

    Trees.

Nathaniel had never actually been in a forest before, let alone lying down on a wet patch of grass, allowing his expensive Italian trousers to get soaked. Shaking his head, Nathaniel, like any good observer, took in his surroundings quickly. He noticed long and thick trunks erupting from the grass at various points, and flying high into the sky, where they sprouted smaller branches with leaves which interlocked with the branches of other trees, creating an impenetrable barrier of leaves, sticks and thorns. Surrounding his body were undergrowth of various types. He noticed several plants from the fern family, and was surprised to find them thriving in the same place as grass. Normally the two would have cancelled each other out. Odd.

And then there was that animal that Nathaniel couldn't quite place. Its was a quadruped, with black hooves that were miniscule, hardly the with of Nathaniel's thumb. His underbelly and legs were coated in a layer of short cream coloured fur, and the rest of his body was covered in orange fur of the same length. Despite himself, Nathaniel found the creature's face quite likeable, and almost cute (although Nathaniel would never allow anyone to catch him using that word). It had large blue eyes that twinkled in the semi-gloom of the forest and, unlike any creature that Nathaniel had ever read about, it had wings protruding from its head, where its eyebrows should have been. Nathaniel couldn't figure out whether they were wings, or ears, or horns. And most disconcerting of all, it could talk. And that was exactly what it was doing.

"Hi," it said brightly in a voice that was, although high-pitched, obviously male, "I'm Patamon." He waited for some time, evidently expecting Nathaniel to talk. Nathaniel did not. "Well, that's not very nice. I told you my name, and I want to know yours."

"What are you?" asked Nathaniel, ignoring all of the orange creature's speech.

"You're either really stupid, really deaf, or think you're being funny. I told you, my name is Pata—"

"No, no. I mean what are you. Not who are you."

The little creature looked most indignant. "I'm a Digimon."

    * * * A while earlier * * *

Mischief, thou art afoot. Take thou what course thou wilt...

The words repeated themselves over and over again in Nathaniel's mind as he took his evening stroll, Mark (his bodyguard) walking behind him, flexing his fingers. Nathaniel had just finished his last lesson of the day, English, an was thinking about the numerous ways that caused Shakespeare to become the famous man he is today. He had been given the task of writing up a 20,000 word biography of the great man, compiling together information from the internet, encyclopaedias and his own mind. He had one day. His tutors were going too easy on him.

Making his way back to his house, Nathaniel opened the door with his spare key, and dumping his jacket on a chair, walked into his study, and locked the door. He booted up his computer, and while he was watching the Windows screen load, and grabbed a pen and a notebook, and began to scribble down all that he knew of Shakespeare. Soon, the computer was ready, and he switched on his broadband internet, and double-clicked on the Internet Explorer button.

That was when things went wrong...

    * * * Back to present * * *

A normal person would have said "A Digi-what?". But Nathaniel was not a normal person, and instead, he nodded knowledgeably.

    "And where am I?"

The little "Digimon" called "Patamon" replied quickly, glad that Nathaniel was not the over-inquisitive type.

"The Digital World. It's a world that exist parallel to your world, and where creatures called Digimon (meaning me) flourish. Now, what's your name."

    "Nathaniel Winterfield the Third"

    "Long name..."

"Would you mind getting off of my head?"

    "Yes."

    "Damn, you're annoying."

    "I try."

"I bet you do..." I sighed as I continued to wander through the seemingly endless forest, Lopmon resting on my head. I was seriously wondering if it even shut up. It was SERIOUSLY testing my patience; something not particularly easy to do. Well, she had been basically explaining the situation I was in during the duration of the trip so far, so I guess she was somewhat useful. "So let me get this all straight. I was brought here, along with a bunch of other kids that I need to find, by Omnimon, a member of the Royal Knights. This world is called the Digital World, and is inhabited by Digimon. The Digimon are all currently split up into factions. One is pro-human, the other is anti-human, all over a legend about humans saving your world? And it's our job, along with the Digimon we meet, to save the world once more from the evil slowly overtaking the land?" I glanced up at Lopmon the entire time, and I recieved a nod in return. "So where are we now, then?"

"Well, I'm pretty sure this is the Ogremon forest. It could be trouble if we run into any Ogremon, considering the group living here is part of the Anti-Human faction. We're definately not strong enough alone to take them, that's for sure!" I wasn't quite sure if the fact that she could keep a grin on her face the entire time was supposed to make me feel better, or more afraid; all things considering.

The trees were all beginning to look the same, and I was pretty sure we were lost... not that we weren't before. "So, what do these Ogremon look like, Lopmon? Just so I know what I'm avoiding." Really, I hadn't seen any Digimon around other than Seadramon and Lopmon. Although, I wasn't entirely certain if that was a bad or good thing at that point. Another thing was bothering me as well. How did Lopmon know so much about the current state of the Digital World if she had been asleep for the last 100 years?

There was nothing but silence from Lopmon for 5 whole seconds (and what great seconds they were) as she thought about the appearance of an Ogremon. "Well, they have horns, and green skin. They carry a club, , they have bad breath, and they're VERY ugly."

"Who's ugly now?" A deep voice growled from behind us, sending a putrid smell up my nostrils, and causing me to freeze on the spot.

    "Lopmon?"

    "Yeah?"

"There's an Ogremon behind us, isn't there?"

"All signs, sadly, point to yes."

I slowly turned my head around slowly, my eyes twitching, as I came face to face with the ugliest green... thing, I've ever seen. It really was THAT ugly! Not to mention it was wearing like nothing. At least it had something around its waist... "Look what we have here, boys. A human and his Digimon, just strolling through our forest. You know what that means, don'cha? Sleipmon was right. Omnimon did bring humans over to our world. What a grave mistake indeed." The part of that speech that worried me the most was the part where he said "boys", implying that there was more than one. The Ogremon looked from side to side, saying "Spread out, boys. Humans tend to travel in packs. So if you find one, take it out." The sounds of leaves rustling was heard all around us after that. If they had been all around us, how had we not heard them sneak up on us?

Of course, being the sly pair we were, Lopmon and I easily snuck away when he was distracted by his troops!

"Hey! You human, get back here!"

Or maybe not... One glance back showed me the Ogremon leader chasing behind, and quickly gaining. "David! Look out! A cliff!" Of course, I probably should have been paying more attention to where I was going...

I had never had a near-death experience before that moment, and it was a shame that I was to have many more after that one. Although, if I hadn't run off the cliff accidentally, beginning to plunge towards the rocky ocean shore below, the events following it may not have taken place. Just as I thought all hope was lost, something large grabbed hold of my right hand, which was flailing in the air above me, and pulled me up back onto the ledge. I stood in awe at what was then in front of me. A large Digimon in white armor, with two wierd pieces over his hands that looked like a wolf-head and a dragon-head. It suprisingly bowed to Lopmon and I, and Lopmon said his name. "Omnimon! Where the hell have you been? I mean, you communicate with the seven of us before sending us to the real world, telling us we'll know where you are as soon as we arrive back, and alas! We're nowhere near the stinking altar! About time I'd say!" Well, she was... loud.

"You may be a child of Ophanimon, Lopmon, but that doesn't give you the right to show ignorance to a Royal Knight, you should know that." The thing, Omnimon, spoke aloud, before it's head moved down to look at me. "You are David, correct? It seems you've gotten yourself into trouble with the Anti-Human faction already, and you haven't even found your comrades." His head looked to the forest, the Ogremon rushing out. It had a look of shock and confusion on its face. Hell, I was confused, too. Child of Ophanimon? Communicating with the seven of them? And how the heck did he know my name?

Omnimon suddenly turned to me, and a yellow light suddenly radiated from my right pocket. I reached in, and pulled out a small device. It had a yellow and white colour scheme, and kind of resembled an iPod or MP3 player in design. Omnimon spoke firmly as I stared at the object. "That is the light of your heart; your Digivice, the iC model. Focus your soul into your hand, and send the energy, your Digisoul, into the iC. That will give Lopmon the ability to Digivolve so that she can beat him! Show me that I can place my trust in you humans!"

"Light of my heart..." I repeated aloud as I continued to look at the iC, before glancing over at Lopmon, whom gave me a look of anticipation. "Okay, I'll give it a try. Focus my soul and direct it towards my hand, right?" I wasn't exactly sure how I was going to make that work, but I closed by eyes and began to focus. I suddenly felt a jolt of warmth flow to my right hand, and I opened my eyes to find yellow, pixelated energy floating around it. I grabbed my iC with my left hand so that it faced Lopmon, and threw my right hand up and onto the top of the iC. Instinctively, I shouted "Digisoul Charge!", and the text 'Evolution' ran across the screen, before shooting a ray of light at Lopmon.

The ray of light consumed her, but her voice could be heard. "Lopmon digivolve to... Turuiemon!" It was obvious that her voice had become deeper, more mature to the point where she didn't sound squeaky anymore. When the light cleared, an overly large, purple rabbit with three horns on it's had was present. It was dressed in an orange outfit that seemed like it was meant for martial arts, and it had a bandana around its neck. It also wore black shoes, and red gloves, with a silver blade on each hand. It's eyes suddenly shot open, glaring at the still confused Ogremon. "David..." It spoke. Although she was different, I could tell she was Lopmon. No, she was Turuiemon! "Just watch, I'll show you that I'm not weak." With that, she seemingly disappeared, reappearing behind the Ogremon's head in the air. "Gauntlet Claw!" She swung her right hand, along with the blade at the back of the Ogremon's head, sending him flying forwards. However... he got back up. Although, her sheer speed was amazing...

OOC: Okay, before our Digimon came to find us, Omnimon communicated with them and told them about the condition of the Digital World. They are referred to as the "Children of Ophanimon" due to their location at Ophanimon's Gate. Have a run in with one of the other Ogremon, and have it chase you to either Omnimon or Gallantmon, where you will learn to Digivolve.

All was quiet in the Forest of Ogremon, at least, where Jace and DemiDevimon were crouched.

"So anyway, we're in the Forest of Ogremon- did you know my daddy used to come here ALL the time?!"

"Get to the point." Jace interuppted, having discovered that DemiDevimon loved to talk, and seemed to love going in circle's with his conversations, "What the hell is going on?"

"You're in the Digital World, and I was born here, not here, as in the forest, but you know, here! In the Digital World!" DemiDevimon was slowly losing Jace's interest, and his patience for that matter, "Anyhow, so we'd better lay low and keep quiet, cause even though I am a super powerful digimon, I can't really compare to those big fat Ogremon's. They're like, ten times my size!" Jace sweatdropped and glared at the bat-thing.

"So, in other words, you're basically useless."

DemiDevimon flushed purple and snapped, "You don't have to put it that bluntly!!"

    "It's the truth, isn't it?"

"...You are truly a despicable human, aren't you?"

    "Yeah, I get that lot."

"Aren't all humans despicable?" A low rumble of a voice said, quite the contrast to DemiDevimon's high and childish voice, and Jace's bored medium drawl, "Especially this one. He seems particularly ignorant to our way's. Let's get rid of him DemiDevimon, you and me! We're of the same generic attribute."

DemiDevimon raised and eyebrow and stuck out his tongue, "But not of the same IQ level!"

The Ogremon clenched his big teeth and tightened his grip on the club, raising it over his head and slamming it down right where Jace used to be. For once in his life, Jace's eyes were mostly open, and the Ogremon had all of his attention, or, more like, the spiked club had all of his attention. DemiDevimon flapped it's bat wings and panted, "Run!" Without waiting for Jace, it flapped away, leaving him behind.

"Oi! You retard of a bat! Wait for me!" Jace yelled, running after the digimon, with the Ogremon in close pursuit, "Damn! Why'd I skip out on P.E.?!?!"
Both human and digimon ran for what seemed like miles for the both of them, (a few yards at best) and Jace stopped long before DemiDevimon, who turned around and snapped, "Why are you stopping?! You wanna get killed?!"

A rather large vein pop emerged on Jace's forehead as he angrily pointed at the cliff he'd stopped at. DemiDevimon, still flapping his wings, looked down and muttered an, "Oh."

"DIIIE!!!" Jace only barely managed to dodge the club, having had his own share of fighting with the gangs he'd run into in the middle of the night. But this big ogre was nothing like those gangs, and switchknive's were a lot easier to dodges then big hulking spiked clubs.

"Bat-thing!! DO something!!!" Jace yelled, and DemiDevimon reaped a vein pop as well, "I'M NOT A BAT!!!"

And in that instant, DemiDevimon's head...body thing was held in the mouth of a wolf...arm?

"Calm yourself." The big hulking...er...digimon...said, "You're pocket." ...He was looking at Jace! (It took Jace awhile to realize that.)

Jace blinked and looked down. Ehh? Last he'd checked, there wasn't supposed to be something in there. Reaching in he found a white- "That's your digivice. It's an original model." The digimon announced, releasing DemiDevimon from it's grasp.

"Digivolve!" DemiDevimon shouted at the sight of the digivice, "DemiDevimon to- Devimon!"

Jace managed to sneak a glance over his shoulder to see a tall evil looking devil-like pokemon with large wings that had numerous hole's in them. The long white fangs, were stretched into an already familiar grin, as Devimon or what not sped forward to meet Ogremon in combat, as all five of his long claws moved together to form a sharp point, yelling, "Touch of Evil!" Jace was dismayed at first to see Ogremon completely unharmed, but after a few seconds, the club split in half, the spiked end falling to the forest floor as Ogremon roared in anger.

"Supreme King Fist!" Ogremon fired a dark blast of energy toward's Devimon, all attention drawn away from Jace, who stood on the edge of the cliff, watching the battle as though in a trance.

"Touch of Evil!" The energy split in half, but burned Devimon's arms as it seperated, "Hell's Contract!" The claw's spread out and another blast of energy returned to Ogremon, who was blasted into a tree, about to retaliate, but another Touch of Evil turned the big hulking green digimon back into data, much to the happiness of Devimon, who spread out his wings and muttered, "Evil Wing." Jace mistakenly took a step back when Ogremon's data sucked right into Devimon, who looked positively re-energized.

"Woah-" Jace managed to utter before a very large claw grabbed onto his flailing hand.

Devimon smirked and laughed a high cackle, "Humans- they just can't seem to do anything on their own, can they?" Pulling Jace up, the boy muttered in annoyance as he brushed himself off, "And I expect you're going to cut me into pieces or blast me off the cliff for my humanly sins." Devimon laughed again, making Jace flinch.

OOC: Quality deteriorating with the cafene running out of my system, I'll do what I can.

"I can't believe that you'd call me that." Gizamon fumed. I walked along beside him, mostly not paying attention. "You can't blame me, I've never sen a Digi-mon before." "Digimon, one word." "Same difference." "Are you sure you're my partner? Seems like something got mixed up somewhere. "That it does." I was actually enjoying the banter, but enough that I didn't notice the thumping behind us as a massive shape started approaching. When I saw the shadow cast on both of us, and heard it's hot, bestial breath, I looked down at gizamon. "Can you fight, or do I need to use you as a shield?"

"You could have told me earlier that they're skulls were that thick." I said, tossing my switchblade to the side, ruined now. "Well, if you die, maybe I can get a new partner." "Touche. What now, then?" "we run." I sighed, pacing myself. I couldn't really sprint like this, since I cuoldn't even breathe deeply, and my chest hurt enough as it was. "I could take that thing if I had my staff..." I muttered, seeing a glint of metal in the distance. "This way." I said, hoping it was something I could use as a weapon... I stopped when I saw the massive figure, though. "You know what, let's turn around. I think I can take Ogremon with my bare hands." I said quickly, turning, but the voice stopped me. "You certainly picked an inconveniant place to arrive."

I turned around, but it continued, as a slight beeping came from my coat pocket... "That is the light of your heart; your Digivice, the iC model. Focus your soul into your hand, and send the energy, your Digisoul, into the Device. It will allow Gizamon to evolve so that he stands a chance against Ogremon. I reccomend that you hurry." I looked down, and pulled out the device.. IT was that PDA that Jim had. "I haven't heard anything like that since Jehova's Witnesses.." I muttered, but still, it was worth a try. I began to focus all my concentration on the device, and it began to shake violently, pink energy materializing around it. Despite my distaste at the color, this was no time to be picky. I gripped it with my other hand to try to steady it, pointing it towards Gizamon, who had been strangely silent all this time.

He said something in the midst of it, but I was lost in a state between shock and sensory overload. when the light cleared though, therewas what seemed to be a giant fox with bells on it... "Better." I remarked dryly, and it nodded. "You know it." The gruff tone was gone, and he sounded less, well, less masculine. "Fire Tail Inferno!" She shouted, and her tail quickly ignited, causing me to step back. "Ah, weren't you a carnivorous frog-dolphin before? How does that translate into a fire flatulating fox?" I asked, having no sense of self-preservation at the time. The flames grew even brighter, but she focused on the ogremon, the fire bearly exploding from her tails towards it. I didn't see if it was knocked away, the fire was so bright, but judging from the blackened area of the ground, inceneration seemed much more likely... That's when a motion in the tree caught my eye. She had simply knocked him into the branches! Still, at least she looked better doing it...

    Nathaniel Winterfield
    Status: Unharmed

Nathaniel was getting into the hang of things. His thirst for knowledge had swallowed up the things that Patamon had told him about the Digital World, and Nathaniel grew interested in the Digimon who seemed of brutish strength and power, and human intelligence. As the two of them walked along, Nathaniel ended up giving Patamon some inisghts into the Real World (or so the little orange Digimon called it), and Patamon seemed interested in that too. It was a mutual relationship. As Nathaniel and Patamon passed yet another large tree he realised something tht had been bugging him at the back of his mind. Patamon had kept on calling him "Nathaniel Winterfield the Third". Time to introduce Patamon to another concept of the Real World. Names.

"Listen Patamon, you can just call me Nathaniel."

"But that's not your name. Your name is 'Nathaniel Winter—'"

"That's my full name, not my everyday name. See, in the Real World, different people are given different names, to differenciate from other people that look like them. Humans don't have a sense of smell like you Digimon do, and so the only way to tell people apart is by calling them names. Winterfield is my family name, to signify that I belong to a certain family. Nathaniel is the name my parents gave me. 'The Third' is there to tell me apart from the other two Nathaniel Winterfields that there have been," Nathaniel explained. He loved giving lectures.

"Woah...confusing," Patamon had a look of sheer confusion plastered across his little face.

    "Don't worry—"

Nathaniel was cut off by a deep and threatening growl from behind him. He turned and immediately wished that he hadn't. Standing behind him were three of the ugliest things that Nathaniel had ever seen. They were a horrible green colour, and gave off an odour that reminded him of a cess-pool. The hands were too big for the body, and dragged across the floor, while hundred upon hundred of tiny warts were places haphazardly along the body. The things' hair was white, and they eached carried a spiked club. Nathaniel swallowed.

"Are these the Ogremon that control this forest," he asked meekly.

    "Indeed."

With unspoken consent, the two newly acquainted friends ran. Patamon pretty much led Nathaniel through the winding mass of trees and undergrowth. Even now, Nathaniel remem, bers little of what happened while he ran. Except, of course when the heavy clud whacked down on the tree behind Nathaniel, cleaving it in half. Natahniel ran, outstriping Patamon in seconds. Soon, he had burst out into a clearing, and raised a hand to cover his eyes. Patamon screeched to a halt beside him, landing ruffly on the ground.

In front of them was the most magnificent Digimon that Nathaniel evr laid eyes not. But that was probably because the only Digimon had had ever seen was Patamon, and briefly, Ogremon. This one, however, was tall, and encased in wite armour with a flowing red cape adorning his shoulders. Not much could be said to describ, however, the sense of power, and amazing strength that seemed to surround him.

    "Gallantamon..." Patamon bowed down low.

Nathaniel did the same, remembering the story Patamon had told him about the Royal Knights, and understanding who Gallantamon was.

"In your pocket, Nathaniel, you shall find a Digivice, one of the few remaining original ones." At this Nathaniel looked inside his pocket, and sure enough, there was a Digivice. It was a mixture of white and blue, looking a lot like the really old-fashioned mobile phones. Nathaniel lifted it up. "Point it at Patamon to make it digivolve – to make it change – into comething much more powerful. Although what, I cannot say."

Nathaniel did so, and as soon as he had begun to focuss, imagining nothing by Patamon, he felt his right arm warm up. This was a special experience...

One after another, the screams of terrified Ogremon echoed from all around the forest. I turned to Omnimon to ask what was going on, but as I spun to see him, he was nowhere to be found. Lovely, just lovely. Although, I did have more problems than I would have liked. We were on the edge of a cliff, and Turuiemon was still trading punches with the ugly, green, bag-o-stink. The ugly bag-o-stink, by the way, was pulling off multiple unfair tricks. Such as kicking sand in Turuiemons eyes to distract it before hitting her with the club. "Bone Cudgel!" It shouted ferociously as it swung its large club at my crippled partner, sending her flying into a nearby tree. "Hahaha! Even though you somehow Digivolved, you're still no match for the great Ogremon!" It quickly turned to me, a revengeful look in his face. He must have still been angry for when I dissed him with the truth...

I could've run, I really could have. However, I felt like I shouldn't, so I stood my ground. My fists were clenched as he drew nearer and nearer. "So... kid. Looks like your failure of a partner proved to be pretty useless! Now it's time to show you that no humans are allowed in Ogremon's Forest!" He raised his club into the air once more, this time aimed at me. "Prepare to d-" I had wondered what had stopped him, and found him glancing down at the ground between us. When I readjusted my vision to look at what he was viewing, I saw Turuiemon crouched in between us, her right foot noticibly glowing with a purple energy.

"Prepare to what?" She smirked as she leapt up diagonally towards the Ogremon's head, her foot extended. The enrgy quickly began to look like the head of a dragon, before she impacted the Ogremon's head. "Shryuken!" And, as if she had teleported, she was suddenly behind the soaring Ogremon, completing a somersault with her right foot out, before impacting the skull of the Ogremon's head once more. "Crescent Moon Kick!" The Ogremon flew quickly and efficiently off of the cliff towards to sea below. Turuiemon, naturally, landed on the ground unharmed nearby. She was suddenly engulfed by a yellow light, leaving Lopmon on the ground as the light cleared. "See, I'm not all that bad!"

"Heh, I guess not." I said, still surprised, as she leapt back onto my shoulder. "I... guess we should find the rest of the kids in the forest?" All I got in response was a nod.
