FireRed hack: Digimon Nova Red ver. 3.1 [COMPLETED] [UPDATED 8.12.2022]

I don't know if this is a glitch with this game or with Firered as a whole (I haven't played Fire Red before) but I caught a ToyAgumon at Level 15 and I think it's not possible to evolve it anymore, which feels annoying.
 
So not sure whats causing the issue, could it be my rom? But for some reason I cant access my HM's besides cut. I got cut early on adn was no problem, got flash later on but it didnt exist in my TM case, but its just flash and i usually run through pokemon cave in the dark anyways verse teaching a crappy move. But now im in fucia and cant access surf soft locking me. Not sure if there is a solution, or if its a bug. If you need any info, let me know.

I figured out a partial solution: using cheats codes to give me the Hm's as needed. This also unlocked and double uped my HM's that were hidden, but it works so i wont complain! But if the dev still needs any info as to the issue feel free to ask for any details for bug fixing.

Hello, does anyone know if it is possible to catch Starmon? I think it has no previous evolution and it is impossible for me to capture it.
I would also like to read frequently asked questions, tips and other hidden links left by the creator of the hack, but when I click on the windows absolutely nothing opens.

I have the same question. Just looking to make life easier with masterballs and healing items and whatnot.

So maybe I'm just an idiot, but is there nowhere to buy coins for the casino? I got 300 from the NPCs sitting around, but nobody is giving me the option to purchase more. Do I actually need to grind the slots to get 800?

Just checked his catch rate and surprisingly it's pretty tough. It has a value of 45, with 1 being the hardest and 255 being the easiest. I'm not sure why I made his catch rate on the tougher side. Must be an oversight. As always, try paralyzing it or putting it to sleep first.

Hey there,

Just tried to catch Starmon on the route to Cinnabar and it's actually nearly impossible. The Ultra ball won't even get to a stage where it says nearly caught or close. It literally just bounces off. I even tried activating a cheat code to increase the catch rate and still no difference lol!

Could you please check this?

Moonblast with M.Angemon freezes the game too, every time unfortunately.
Edit: Any pokemon that uses moonblast freezes the game

Hi! I want to play this game with the Professor Oak Challenge on mind. How loable it is? I mean, I need get every Digimon possible before each badge, this mean in the moment I had access to Tsunemon, I need to level up to level 100 to get Omegamon before Misty, so... how hard it's level up in this game?

That sounds like an exercise in torture and I would absolutely not recommend it. Most lines don't reach their final form until level 50 or 60.
That said some crazy person out there actually completed a living Dex so who knows haha
 
I just recently started playing, got into Mt Moon, captured a Nyaromon, and at Level 15 it evolved into Salamon... And just as I went to check her status, she was Level 17 (My Digis were Level 20, 19, 17, 15 and I think 14).
So this "level skip" was a very welcome "feature" for me who wants a more casual play.

I can't remember if I did anything different in that battle (like having changed it to the stronger Lvl 17 during battle for type advantage, as I usually do when training newbies) that could have triggered this though.
 
I saw one location on the digimon nova red dex that it is in sky pillar is it possible to go there? And how? I already beat the e4 and champion, did the cerulean cave, went to birth island did that, and caught the legends in seaform Island, Mt ember, and powerplant, and i did sevii island. But I feel like missing something 😕

Very much not a fan of needing to excessively grind to reasonably fight the important battles. like I get it is meant to be more difficult than standard, but e level 18 in the first gym seems like overkill. especially when the wild digimon give like 15 exp
 
Hello I have a question I am enjoying playing the game. But what is the point of the mega ring I got from Mr fuji? Is that for a feature that was intended but never finished? As I am yet to see single mega stone.

Oops! You're right, the Mega Ring is an item I forgot to take out.
