Displaying/Organising Your Cards

    How do you organise your cards?

    I'm always changing my cards around in my binder. Last week it was by their type, and now I'm sorting them in their sets, by their set number.

    We could all share ideas and find new ways.

    I got a pack today, and found a Palkia G Lv.X!

    Now I'm sorting them into Platinum number XD

    I always change them around. Before it was by type (and each type was sorted by how much I liked them), then it was sorted by Card Number, and now it's sorted by Numerical Pokédex order.

    Also, it would be best for all parties involved if you had patience and didn't double post/bump.​
     
    well i've got a folder that i keep the cards i like, but my other old cards are just put in my card box with all my other cards

    I'm having trouble!! I really need a good idea to keep them sorted in... I've tried type too many times... >.>
     
    I've always sorted them in binders by type and rarity. Basically, I sort them by like this:

    Holos
    Rares
    Uncommons
    Reverse holos (I don't keep a set order for these)
    lv. X's/secret cards (I don't keep my commons in binders, WAY too much extra weight, and nobody that I know really needs them)

    Then for each rarity I sort them by types like this:

    Grass
    Fire
    Water
    Colorless
    Psychic
    Lightning
    Fighting
    Metal
    Darkness
    Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums
    Energy

    I dont bother with sets/collector's numbers.
     
    Well, since I'm just getting back into the TCG (and card games in general) after about a 7 year biatus, I just have a huge stack of all my old cards. Keep in mind they all are from like way back, though.
     
    i have a "pokedex" type binder, one side is Pikachu and the other is Meowth and I keep my cards in there. I try to keep all the evolutions together, in order of my favorite pokemon haha.
    and the ones I don't really like...I keep them in the back pocket of the binder
     
    Right now, since I don't have all too much, I can fit all my cards in my lucario tin my friend bought a while back. Anything valuable and my deck I keep in some flimsy but useful sleeves. My deck goes on one side, my spare cards on the other.
     
    Well heres how I do it.

    I collect from all the sets, but the main ones I am interested in are the ones that were made by Wizards of the Coast (Those were Base set to one of the Neo Sets I believe)

    I keep those by Set, then by Card Number.

    As for the ones that are made by Nintendo, I did those by Set, then Rarity. So commons from one set were at the front, then the rares were last, then a new set. I keep my reverse holos and Lvl.X's at the back for viewing pleasure :)

    Although, after reading what that one person said about doing it like a pokedex, I might try that 0_0
