Eh, I thought so too, but I wasn't really that disappointed when I found out it wasn't. I think I would be content with a pre-evo, or a branch evo, or basically any evoultion. :)

eeven if there nintendo thought of an evolution of this its pointless cause i doubt there will be another set of games cause a 5th generation set of pokemon games is just to many new pokemon so if they do the game would be crap and ditto should not evolve
 
Why the hell do you want that Dittos to evolve ? The blob's only good to help breeding good ;)

But now, having a Ditto evolving into Mew... That's the most illogical thing I've heard this month...
Why not make Salamence evolve into Grumpig afterall ?!?! What a non-sense !!!

Let's face it, some pokes are not meant to evolve and that's good the way it is...

This is in fact the reason why I started this thread, so I would have 15 posts and when I am not posting a link it won't tell me I am and not let me post

Wow, I don't see how I can be any clearer, I am TRYING to respond to these insults people are posting, but when I hit submit it tells me I am posting a link and since I only have 8 posts it doesn't let me post and deletes all my responses to these insults and that is ticking me off more than the insults.
 
I don't think this thread is dumb, I just think the whole Ditto should evolve into Mew is dumb. Mew is supposed to be one of the hardest Pokemon to get without cheating. It would just be too easy if you could catch a Ditto and evolve it into Mew. Maybe Ditto could evolve into a human-like blob and there can be one in the game and it evolves when Ditto transforms into it. I don't know?
