"Ditto's Mysterious Mansion" Episode Discussion

Well the art quality was normal in terms of the PM Anime. But the plot was GREAT Ditto is one of my favorite Pokemon, But as WTFP Points out how can it become in-animate objects? (Yeah, yeah the GSC Pokedex entries about rocks and what-not) But still...(The Team Rocket Mock Motto was funny :D) Eh that's it for now...
 
Something like that happened in Challenge Of The Samurai with the two Metapods using harden all the time. I certainly have to say that this was a good episode especially with Duplica dressing up as Officer Jenny, Nurse Joy, and Misty. Team Rocket getting a good spoofing was another thing I liked about this episode as well since they were kind of begging for it all along I think.
 
The Ditto face on the Pokemon it transformed into were quite funny, particularly the ._. Machoke. XD

I thought whenever it copied the boyfriend in the picture, that was cute. Didn't it lick her, too?

And, yes, the Rockets needed the spoofing, given the grandiose nature of their motto. Definitely one of my favorites.

Yeah that was pretty funny, but I have a question that no one seems sure about, even though I'm pretty sure of it: wasn't the boyfriend in the picture the guy from "Crossing Paths?" Otherwise, how many first loves does Jessie have? If it is the same guy, it's pretty cool that the writers remembered this episode and sort of spun-off that plot into "Crossing Paths".
 
I loved this episode because of three things!
Duplica is awesome at 'duplicating' disguises as people (and is a pretty cool character)
Her pet Ditto and its quirks with the face
Ash and his team dressing up as Team Rocket, their unique motto and their reaction = XD
 
The Team Rocket mocking is win. Wow this is a REALLY old episode. Still a good one though.

Did anyone ever read The Electric Tale of Pikachu manga? There was a chapter based on this episode I think, or at least Duplica made an appearance.
 
I love this episode cos I love Ditto, it was a cool story too about how Ditto had to overcome his problem with the face. Plus it was quite funny seeing Voltorb, Machoke and Meowth with Ditto faces! It would have also been cool if Ditto transformed into Meowth could speak...

The best part of this episode is the Team Rocket mocking as said before! :D

Well, you're getting way ahead of yourself, as there's a time and place to address that. Although, it's a possibility. Why don't you make a thread on that? Sounds interesting to discuss.
 
This episode is funny, I like the twerps singing the motto and Ditto transforming into Jessie's boyfriend. Note: The Dratini episode was last episode (or a few), and Jessie wants Ditto to turn into Dratini.

Also - Team Rocket help Ditto transform properly and get NO credit. They help out again in about 10/20 episodes and get no credit for that, either. I was really annoyed
