Short poem... This one's about the thoughts and memories of someone that just lost his life and feels his soul and body divided by the green/jade fields in which he was buried... It'd be very nice if someone posted a critical comment..
Dividing Jade
"No more smiles, no more tears,
No more wires and no more fears...
And somehow I don't feel undone, even craving in the shade
To recover what was never gone, blinded by dividing jade.
The fire's unlit, the bullet's strayed;
The lies adrift, the debt was paid.
And as I ripped the lines and danced the masquerade
I taught myself to hide, beneath dividing jade.
And I will cry the emerald sky, I will stay under the stone
I will miss her beryl eyes, and their discouraging tone
And i'm obscured under the night, below the stars
Buried with no more than these everlasting scars
And I will remain dreaming of another sad parade
When all my wishes disappear beneath dividing jade."
