All right, all right, I'll use the damn Insect Plate... I just don't think it's a good idea because of Groudon's possible Fire-type and Rock-type attacks, Entei and Moltres, and of course other Arceus. And that's just two of Bug's weaknesses.
 
First off, "HAX" also means "cheap luck".

Say I'm winning. But then I get frozen, & lose from that cheap bit of luck. Thats hax, but ok, since we have no control.

However, you CAN control, or at least manipulate, hax with hax items.

Also, it doesn't matter whether or not you like Choice Scarf. Fact is, it's out there, & very common. Lastly, Darakai is still faster without it.

Clearly you haven't been reading. I don't care about metas. Therefore, I expect to see all 493 Pokémon.

If you can't prepare for everything, you shouldn't battle. So if you aren't prepared for a Quick Claw, then you need to go back to training. That's how I see pretty much every game.
 
First off, there is no "preparing". You have no say in whether Quick Claw works, therefore, there is no preparing for hax. It is luck, and takes away strategy.

Using Arceus in ordinary play makes me unable to use any other 493 pokes. There is no preparing.
 
Waker, have you... ever battled? At all? You should be familiar with the tier system. It seperates Pokemon by power, and Arceus is right up there in Ubers, the class of the strongest Pokemon in the game, inhabited by a grand total of 18 Pokemon. Nobody will ever use BL or lower Pokemon in an Uber battle- in fact, much of the OU tier would be crushed in it. This is because all Pokemon are NOT created equal. Certain Pokemon are just plain stronger than others. This is why the OU tier is occupied by only the 50 or so Pokemon strong enough to be in it. You're NOT gonna see all 493 Pokemon against your team, because Arceus is just too powerful. What you are going to see are the 18 Pokemon fit for Uber play. Why? Because you're using Arceus.

I see. Pokémon really is far more difficult than it should be, then. Remember when games were simple? I miss those days.

I am familiar with the tier system. I simply think that it's dumb. If you're going to have tiers, then there really only needs to be two of them: Ubers and Non-Ubers. But no, you have your Border Line, your Over Used, your Ubers, your Never Used, and your Under Used, and God knows what else. So no, I'm not going to play by tiers until I have a good reason to.

And to answer your question, I've battled plenty, just never in a "competitive" environment due to the above.

On the Calm Mind sweeper, I would make it a Timid Nature instead of a Modest nature. The speed would make it a better sweeper.

Anyway, I would use the Life Orb on the physical sweeper. Still, though, these can work. I'll add them to the first post.

Well, those tiers have their uses. Like I said, all Pokemon are not created equal. Pokemon from different tiers just can't fight each other fairly, the higher tier Pokemon will always win. Try putting a Beautifly against a Garchomp, or a Furret against a Salamence. Take a guess at who would win.

Meh, I guess. Like I said before, this team's just for fun. If I feel like obeying tiers, I'll build another team and post it in its own thread.

And by the way, I've seen a Furret defeat a Salamence.

Any threads created here will be taken under the assumption that it is a serious, competitive team, which obeys all standard rules unless previously stated. You can't get mad if we assume this is serious.


Back on topic. Other than the obvious, what's to rate? The ONLY problem here is in ubers-no other pokes can stand up to this.

EDIT:Like it or not, there is no ignoring the fact that your team is CHOICE SCARF WEAK. I'm giving you critisism, not an insult, which ya seem to get mixed up. You have a weakness. Without Sleep Clause, you team is weak to Darakai. It outspeeds Arceus, no matter how many Arceus you have. It will outrun & place them ALL to sleep. You cannot ignore it.

Also, a choice Scarf Heracross outruns it. Close Combat hurts Arceus.

Well, not "rate", exactly. There's more than six there, so we need to pick six to use as the best possible all-Arceus team, even if it is just for fun.
