Wait, so how do you know if you have a legit one?
I've traded for 2 different weaviles (One that's supposed to be American, and another that's supposed to be Japanese) and they're both apparently hacked.

I read somewhere that the Japanese ones still have English names (but I'm not sure about this. Why would a Japanese pokemon have a name more than 5 characters long? Is that possible?)

It has something to do with the sav. file.
It's not hacked, But what ever system you have, English,Japanese......
It will read them as such.
we just see them as different Characteristics.
