Timeline wise Reconguista is the initial series in a new century so you wouldn't miss out on anything in that sense. Of course knowing the franchise as a whole could lead to appreciating some small things a bit more. We all start somewhere though, do you honestly ever see yourself getting to know the franchise through the slogfest that is 0079?

My first Gundam was the black sheep of the franchise, the super robot one with some of the most hilarious mech design ever. I seem to remember Holland's was a windmill, Sweden's had long blonde robot hair and Denmark's was a giant fish with scuba diver legs. Loads of fun though and that great OST.


Why wouldn't you wait for blurays for censored to death shows?

Sticking with 6 so far. Not massively sure about Denki-gai yet but I hope it is a grower.
