I don't think they NEED it, One Piece is probably a strong enough pillar for the entire magazine.

AssClass, Hiyakyuu, foodgasms, Gintama and a few others are all really popular right now as well in terms of rankings and volume sales. Certainly looking better than a few years back when everybody was wondering what would happen when Bleach and Naruto were ded.

Oh, actually, on that note, how's Blood Lad? I had to play it's theme song, ViViD, a number of times on Osu! and it grew on me (both the song and the opening), and it's been a while since I watched an old-fashioned Shonen. I'll probably watch the first couple of episodes regardless, but have any of you guys seen it?

Haven't, but it so happens that that I talked to a friend about it when we saw the manga in a book store today and she likes it. Nichibros is her jam so I'd trust her on this stuff.

I read the manga and like it. It is comparable to the great GTO if you have seen/read that. There will be about 115 chapters before it begins airing so it isn't too soon by modern standards. Gotta hit it whilst the popularity is still there and so on.

I dropped Blood Lad but it probably wasn't the worst thing I will ever drop. Just another silly comedy with big tits girl lead.
