It's weird seeing someone speak those names here. On the other hand I'm more of a Cliff fan now lol.

Kuruma is something like the village guardian, he seems to be able to leave Naruto's body at will now. Or at least he could in the film. Fan artists like to draw him as the Uzumaki family pet, it seems.

I like how his kid acting up a little bit has caused many a NaruSaku shipper essay to be written on how he his a bad parent and how their ship would never have let that happen. IMO the chapter implies that he has been spoiled in the past and is struggling to adapt to Nauto's new job as Hokage. He turns up late for his ninja summit as he is helping his kid deface his own ninja rushmore face, he totally hates his life and should have married the crush he had when he was 12.

His family is best family, even if we have actually only seen them as a family for a few seconds. Beats the bumbling idiot husband and bitch wife who is always right we usually get in battle shounen, I wonder why so many western fans wanted that, perhaps it has something to do with it being the norm on American sitcoms.

I hope the Bolt miniseries and film concludes with adult Naruto fighting Orochimaru. Feels weird that he was in the wind at the end of the series.

I just love the random going ons in that city, and how it flawlessly connects. I do remember how neat that was in DRRR. The LN peeps are fun.

Saekano's so far a tangle of meta humour and a parody of itself with pretty nice production values. Supposedly the source material is well written, so I'm on board.

The Rolling Girls is a highly contemporary mix of FLCL, Kyousougiga, KlK and Yozakura Quartet. I am wildly okay with this.

AssClass is shounenFun, though I will never accept that the protagonist is male.

Still two shows on my try list that I haven't checked out, and I'm already liking this season a lot. And here I thought I'd be backlogging.

I've actually been watching a good bit myself.

A friend made me binge watch No Game, No Life, which was...eh. Probably wouldn't watch it again and I didn't really want to finish it then. It wasn't bad and it had some nice visual direction, but it was basically original Yugioh with generic harem members and BLOOOOOOOOOOOOM. A little nonsensical at times, too; which doesn't really help since it's supposed to showcase intell- it doesn't matter, you guys know, you've talked about the show time and time again.

Started AssClass and it seems like it'll be fun. Same season, started Death Parade, which I currently have no opinion on- this'll definitely need at least two episodes.

Started Sabagebu and Tokyo Ghoul as well. The former's genre-savvy and can be pretty funny, especially when someone watching with me would ask a question and the narrator would address it moments later. The latter's the latter. It's nice looking but again, no opinion yet. Also, Kantai Collection. Watching that one as a joke, mostly. It's about as good as I was expecting, and the characters (currently) have as much depth as an Indigo Plateau Team Rocket depth.

Lastly, and the one that I'm farthest in apart from NGNL, which I finished, is Barakamon, which I'm two episodes. I like it quite a bit so far, main girl is great. Easily my favorite of the listed.

Winter has some fun shows.

Masterpiece tier - Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu, Milky Holmes
Ora ora tier - JoJo
Potentially good tier - Yuri Kuma, Rolling Grills, Yatterman, Cinderella Grills, Maria
Decent - AssClass, DURR, Koufuku Graffiti

Will only be following a few of them weekly though. Feel like clearing somebacklog instead this season.
