Is "Tarantula" slang for drugs?

Nope. To be more specific it's Homoeomma sp. 'Blue'
Spoiler:

I'll be keeping other species as well. And I'll also be also researching them next semester.

My girl cartoons go DBZ fairly regularly as well.
Spoiler:

Don't think I'll be getting pets anytime soon. At least I only live a bus ride away from my parents and my dogs.

93

Oh god why

Because they spark the curiosity in me. I've kept snakes and lizards and now tarantulas. They're really interesting and I could say they're probably my favorite. Low maintenance, cheap, don't take up space, etc.

93

Huh. It's not often that you meet someone with a legitimate interest in spider and spider keeping. It would be pretty convenient to like them, though.

I'm interested in anything that slithers, flies, walks on four legs, crawls, etc. basically any animal haha

98

Enjoy your creepy crawly things of death and fluffy cuteness, I'll stick with cats and dogs and things that can't poison me

They can't poison you. And I'm not particularly fond of domesticated animals haha.

I respect the thought. In a way, bugs are cute.

...But in many other ways their cuteness can be terrifying. I find them intriguing but I couldn't keep any for the sake of personal discomfort.

I understand. I used to be scared of them, but as I got older fear turned to fascination and now that has turned into helping to conserve them in the wild.

Might consider catching a relatively small animal and making it a pet. Seems pretty fun.

...Buuuut that also goes against how I feel about catching animals. But I do love cute things.

...Oh the contradictions...

What's around you to catch? Word of advice, some species are protected, such as certain turtle, mice, salamanders, etc. species that if they catch you keeping, you might find yourself fined.
