Nah. I spent a good sum during the sale, but I was careful. In fact, it was actually because of all of the upcoming games that I held back.

Fantasy Life, The Sims 4, Persona 4 Ultimax Arena and Persona Q, Theatrhythm Curtain Call...among many others.

My wallet hurts pretty bad just thinking about it.

And with both OR and AS being released this November and all the upcoming games before and after it, it looks like your wallet won't get that long of a break, and neither will mine.

I'll probably just wait. As much as I like XY, Fantasy Life, Ultimax, and Theatrhythm have priority (and possibly TS4), and that'll be enough to hold me over until it's time to get ORAS.

But I'm being very selective with the games I'm buying this year, seeing as I'm on a budget as I am.

Looks a lot like Danganronpa, though I guess one shouldn't judge a game by its... well, not cover, but you know what I mean.

Apparently it's good to have player the prequel first, too. Maybe I could find that in the used DS games section somewhere.



In other news, perhaps twelve years too late in my life, I'm going to watch motherbucking Digimon. I remember only parts of it from when I was a kid. Basic but enjoyable so far. The premise is already ten times better than the Pokémon anime.

After watching a retrospective of Digimon Adventure by Jesuotaku (a series that I personally missed out on, having only followed the Digimon World games as a child), there are two things that I really push in regards to it and Pokemon. First, is that they not be compared. Sure, they're both mon anime, but they're almost nothing alike. And what's more, Digimon's anime is targeted at an older age group and...well, it's not really based off of any formula or source other than the toys (with Pokemon being a loose adaptation). Digimon's an adventure anime while Pokemon is a loose weekly.

The second thing I honestly can't remember, completely forgot it during the writing of the first.

Digimon anime > Pokemon anime, seriously Digimon isn't afraid to take risks and tell a different story with new protagonists from season to season, something the Pokemon anime fails to do utterly.

Nope, it's Vifam. One of only 4 10/10 anime on my list. Although it is an old shounen mecha series so you'll know it will have flaws. Just one of those things I couldn't help but fall in love with.
